I've had a vstar 1300 for a few months now, love it. Guy in the video was shifting way too early which is why you hear the chugalong noise but good vid either way..
How do you like the 1300?? Thinking of getting one , I’m 5’7 do you think it would be uncomfortable for me to ride cause my height ? Right now I have a Harley sportster and a can am spyder which I’m selling
@@jDot2414 I'm 5'10" and 250 lbs I'm also 67 years old and have no problem putting it through the twisites. I'm loving the 1300. It's very comfortable and easy to handle. I actually think it's more maneuverable then the 1100 I had. The previous owner put a Cobra slip on muffler on it and it sounds amazing. The 1300 is geared higher then the 1100 but has no problem with lack of get up and go. The 1300 is a well balanced machine.
@@keylargo2001 thanks very much for the reply and info ! Going to go test drive one today. It’s a nice bike for sure ! I’ve had a Harley sportster 1200 which wasn’t comfortable at all. I now have a can am spyder which is comfortable but a pain in the ass to maintenance lol. I want to get back on two wheels ! Ride safe
there is a hook up for your phone in the left saddle bag, you can control it from the handlebar controller or turn on the center display and hook up thru bluetooth
Yes the bike is water cooled I bought mine in late 2013 paid low 12s this bike with the Garmain Gps is a lot of bang for the buck I call mine a yamaha glide and its half the price of a harley street glide and much more reliable ..
Frank Miller I’ve been looking for one of these for a few months now. Used ones are near impossible to locate locally. The only thing that was possible for me was for a dealer to try and bring a new 2017 in from the warehouse. The dealers didn’t even have new ones in the show room
Found a 2013 with this speaker and fairing set up for $3800 with 9k miles, just keep looking. Craigslist is nice too if you use sites that search all of Craigslist at once
I looked at one when I got my tourer. Really nice bikes, wouldn't mind having a set of those hard bags on mine. Only way I would trade mine off, would be for a gold wing lol!
Yamaha makes cool stuff. I just did a test ride at Battle Creek Harley today. Softail Deluxe. Has the 103. Sure couldn't wait to get back on my Victory afterwards. That was a disappointment bike. I expected more. My Freedom 92 has more power and way better ride then their 2017 Softail Deluxe.
Dude I totally agree I test rode three Harleys at a dealership went to a victory dealership the next week and test road two bikes I would definitely pick the Victory Motorcycles over any Harley

Ya, that guy, shawn, doesn't gear the bikes like he should,
I just purchased a 2014 V Star 1300 deluxe. I'm moving up from the V Star 1100 so the difference between the two will be amazing.

The v-star line are all very good bikes for not a lot of money. I stated on a v-star 650 then progressed to the star 950. Next will be the star 1300.

How would you compare it to the FJR 1300? is it geared differently? Which one would you rather have this one or the FJR?
David Greve I’ve had both ... V-star for comfort/cruising, FJR for performance.
I think the v star 1300 will be my next bike. This bike is cool. How much money? But right now I'm loving my v star 950.
Nerve sell your V-Star 950. They’re made to last forever !
How tall are you, I'm 6'3 or 6'4 how would it fit taller guys like me
.. I wouldn't consider some 650 + lbs. as light The bikes weight just sits low.

@@robertsalyers1351 but they don't make victory anymore... you must not have test drove a road glide !
passed thru the accident scene from Beetlejuice

You can find the deluxe fairing online that fit the standard 1300 tour bike
I have a yamaha vstar 1300t 2007 it only had 16 thousand miles
I only paid alittle over 5 thousand look brand new wish I could post pic of it
does the V Star 1300 Deluxe have cruise control?
No cruise control.
I use an O-ring on my motorcycle next to the end of the grip. Might work on this bike.
Veri veri nice motorsacl :))
Someone needs to learn when to shift
just keep on watching our videos and learn. dont worry you ll get the hang of it
it sounds like a go-kart
until you put a Cobra slip on exhaust... my sounds bitchin with the new muffler.
Nothing like doing a review and basically knowing nothing about the bike your reviewing.
Worst review ever. Why review without knowing the details on your review. Wow
