I just got my Element yesterday and my biggest complaint is the lackluster interior lighting so I'm liking your mods . I have been modding VW vanagon's for years so this ain't my first rodeo.
This is a really cool mod. Thanks for the how to. I'm adding this to my list of projects. Best part, it looks fairly striaght forward and simple. Great tip on using a razor blade to clean off the drilling bits. Thank you!
i like the mod, but for me it doesn't make sense to add more interior lights for when you turn on the headlights. lights on the interior just add reflections at night making it harder to see out.
I'm about to do this with an LED light strip. Can you confirm the dimmer lead on the radio harness is the negative? I haven't worked with a dimmer circuit before and assumed it was varying voltage. I guess if it varies voltage then you still can get a voltage drop between the positive 12V and lower voltage dimmer circuit; it just feels counter intuitive to me.

My car light noise on rear , when I driving on pumper or brake the noise on en ec ..but I change control arm and bushes plastic front and rear , now still little noise ! What you think need to change ? Shock front and rear new couple years … Thanks
Hi my name is Jose and im from Phila pa and i have a Honda Eelement 2003 i just put in my new cluste r lights in and when it was done i couldnt see my Odemeter meter and i dont know if i blew a fuse .can you help me out i need to inspect my Element. thank you

Check the bulbs and turn them 90dg to see if that will work
