Glad to have u back eric. It pleases me
And to make the headlight removable u could have went to your parts Mustang and cut out a factory plug with the correct number of wires and use that
Or gotten a new one from Amazon like I did with my radiator fans on the Ford. ;)
Welcome back Eric, i really missed ya. These days quality content on this platform is thin and hard to come by in the proportions that it used to be. And as someone who watches videos online for their "therapeutic" and relaxing effect late in the day after work, know that i appreciate your channel a lot. A very lot.
Also congrats on the million :)
Thank you!
UV rays under the bonnet. That's hilarious
in general black zip ties seem to hold up well over time as opposed to the white ones, which get yellow and brittle more quickly. I buy them by the hundred from Harbor Freight.
Yes! Thank you! Welcome back @EricTheCarGuy!
You have no idea how happy I am. I missed these!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!! :)
Eric it is so good to see repair/upgrade videos from you again.
Awesome Eric you working on the Honda Element love it welcome back brother😄👍👍
Glad to see these kind of videos pop up again.
so happy to finally see you back eric. fridays have been boring haha
I put CREE LED low beam only headlamps in my silverado pickup.Really work great and well worth the effort.
Nicely done Eric. Never Seize or some other type of product is a must. I think I have mentioned this before but when I was working with ROV's we used AquaLube because Never Seize in a salt water environment especially into Aluminum caused issues due to Electrolysis because of the metals in Never Seize. AquaLube always worked and never washed away. Great job Eric.
Good to have you back Eric.
I am glad that you back to the channel, Welcome!!
Good to have you back on UA-cam Eric.
Welcome back to the channel. Always a good watch.
Glad to see you back! Every year around this time I binge watch your videos. Not a mechanic or anything, but it's really neat to be able to learn how cars work and how to work on them. Genuinely happy to see another video from you.
Thank you!
Good to see your back and doing well
Glad you are back on this channel 👍
nice to have you back.
Welcome back brother...U where highly missed
As far as the halos go, I would hook those into a separate circuit so I could control when they are on or off. But that is just my preference.. Man, it's so nice to be getting alerts letting me know you have posted a video. Great to have you back.. Thanks Eric!
Guess who's back, back again
Eric's back, tell a friend
Guess who's back, guess who's back
Guess who's back, guess who's back.
lol
THE KING RETURNS

Hello Eric missed your ETCG VIDEOS good to see you posting them again. Thanks.
Eric, it's good to see that you are back again, you have been missed!
Feels good to see you posting here again. I really missed these videos.
Where I'm at in Canada the white tie wraps get brittle in cold temps. There's been days I can't even get them to cinch up without breaking. Glad to see you back at this kind of vid, though I had kept up with you on ETCG1.
ETCG is back. All is right in the world...for the moment....
Welcome back bud :) it’s so great to have you back. Long time loyal fan and subscriber here just letting you know I still appreciate all your content
Man I missed you I am so glad that you are continuing uploading new content. I actually wanted to do this on my rigged so this video is really well timed for me.
Good to have you back.
Nice winter tires! My dad bought some steel rims at a good price to mount winter tires on for the family van. When winter came, we just swapped out the normal tires for the already mounted winter ones :)
Was starting to type a video asking for a light aiming video, then you go and mention you have one already. Thank you Eric.
Really good video Eric glad to have you back.
Welcome back Eric and also to Cameraman Brian. Enjoy your work !
Im so glad to see you back
I really like the format of following up a year later at the end of the video with a retrospective look at the project (I get that this was due to the hiatus, but still)
glad to see you back Eric!!!
Love your videos Eric. They are always so detailed and to the point. Keep them coming, awesome stuff.
@ericthecarguy Great to have you back man.
Welcome back Eric - Was so excited to see your video today!
Really happy to see you’re back. You and Charles (the humble mechanic) are my favorite you tube mechanics! I like that clip removal tool. Need to get one.
Great to have you back,,,,missed you Sir
Thanks, Eric! The video is on point, I very much liked editing, it wasn't too long, I watched it from beginning to end with no feeling that it's stretched or anything. I like the new way. Thanks!
Eric!! Love your videos, man!
They came in very handy when I used to work on my 2008 Element SC. I had to part ways with my Ellie because some drunk driver smashed into it pretty badly in the middle of the night while my car was parked curbside, he totalled my Ellie. If that hadn't happen I'd kept the Ellie forever. Had to get a new car. It's still very satisfying to watch your videos.
Hopefully one day Honda brings back the Ellie with a more capable engine.
welcome back!!! i've missed your friday uploads!!!
Glad to see you back, Eric! I've learned so much about repairing my vehicles from your videos, and even helped out a few friends. As a woman doing this work (as a hobby only), I've been told it's impressive!! LOL Anyway, thank you for your previous help, and again, so glad you're back!
Thanks for the comment. Good luck with your future projects. Personally, I think women have a better temperament for this work. Thanks again.
You're back! Welcome old friend! Nice to see you again!
Missed you man. Glad you’re back!
happy to see etcg back. all ways looked forward to new vids from etcg :)
So glad you are back!!!! You and Eric o. Make the best car repairs videos!!!!!!
Is good to see you back Eric, I love those headlights, nice fit👌🏼 on the Honda Element, waiting for more videos. Have a nice day. God Bless You Always!!✌🏼😉👍🏼
Great to see you back
Glad you're back, Sir.
Welcome back Eric, always been great videos, keep them going stay happy
Good to see you back
You are very neat when doing electrical connections. My compliments.
I now understand why a power probe has its place in a toolbox but could be a very misleading tool in diagnosis. Glad you are back
Immmmmm sooo happy these are back!
I glad you took the time you needed!
One thought. Generally I agree with mixing spades up.
But the way it is now, if you take them out. Someone can connect the pos and neg together.
And when it comes to soldering your wires before crimping. When you have uninsulated like you used, you can flow solder in after crimp.
I like doing that when I have the time.
Thanks again for the videos.
These are just my dumb little thoughts. :)
Welcome back! I have really missed your repair videos.
Glad you're back man!
Great that your back again Eric👍
I'm so glad you are back
Return of the Mac!!! Glade your back MrToolGuy!!!!!!!

Great job Eric glad to see you back at it. Keep up the great work
Welcome back Eric we missed you buddy
So glad you’ve returned Eric, you inspired me to follow my dream years ago and get into this industry, who makes that 1/4 ratchet I like it?
Totally changes the look, very cool. Good job
Those headlight assemblies look like the eyes from The Terminator. Glad you are back Eric!
Glad you were able to recharge in your time off from ETCG.
Glad you're back
Very nice upgrade. I do recall the vid with the comparison of different headlights and IIRC the LED was the best in terms of length of the beam also, which living in Michigan I definitely would want. Really glad to have you back, I, along with so many others missed your regular vids.
Btw, I was a huge fan of the Fairmont series, and I did miss those regular vids, but understood your position it.
Looks so cool, thanks for this video regardless of being 2 years it'll help me get it done today in 2020
ericthecarguy in my notifications is the best feeling in the world
Great to have you back mate keep um coming 🍺
Thanks for the video! Great having you back and congrats on 1 million subscribers!
Thank you!
Awesome video Eric, so pleased you are back :D
I have the same body style as your truck; and I had a heck ufa time getting the back side to fit in the core support. (with projector beam headlight assm's)
Ah...its good to see you back at it
Glad you’re back!
Glad you're back buddy.
Yes!!! The myth the legend returns!!!
Great to have you back Eric. And very greatfull you put those crimps on. I almost went mad over it. A little note, soldering and then crimping can cause bad crimps. Also those insulated crimps you spoke about arent weather proof. You can spray wax oil over the top to help with corrosion prevention. Also ebay do have oem style 2 way weather proof connectors like Fiat use
so good to see you again :D!Welcome Back!
Great install, only thing I would have done different is staggered the cut on the wires to the marker lights. Less chance of shorting out if your splices are staggered.
love the picture quality...and the videos
Welcome back Eric!!! Congratulations on 1 million subscribers!!!!!! The projector headlights look great, and are a great addition with hid bulbs. That is what they were designed for, but you already know that lol
Actually, I swapped them out for LED's. They came with halogens originally. Thanks for the comment.
You're back! Just realized. Good start on my new year :)
When it comes to removing a headlight assembly, the best design I have seen is on the Volvo XC90. The steps are:
Open hood, pull two L shaped metal strips up and remove the assembly. That's it, no tools required, takes 15 seconds and if the assembly needs to come fully off, there's one plug. I love them.
Early 2000 Ford trucks are the same way. Thanks for the comment.
Welcome back Eric
Missed the quality content.
Welcome back Eric!😃
when I installed fog lights on my truck I used a 2 plug trailer connector .. 2.99 for a set so 2 sets needed for this headlight setup and you cant mix up the connections - PS great to have you back
Yes ! Thumbs up before anything! I really appreciate your effort.
Thank you!
Welcome back! Great video sir.
They are pretty bud!! Love having you back! Missed you!!!!!!
Great video and welcome back
