I went to college about 10 years ago and I knew this is what I wanted to study but none of my professors knew what I was trying to say because I was unable to articulate it. I'm now going back to school!

Yeah, I’d check out Fandom: Identities and Communities in a Mediated World and then Understanding Fandom + Henry Jenkins’ usually posts update versions of syllabi online. I’d give those a look too. Super helpful.

There’s some debate on what’s first. But SH is consistently held up as one of the first mass media fandoms.
