I've really enjoyed your analysis of the trailers so far! It's very helpful for someone who was inspired partially by this show to get into animation myself, getting a break down of all the choreography, especially the little things. I think it was definitely intentional that Blake is being pushed into the background and upstaged by Adam through a lot of this, given the way her plotline unfolds in the show.
Also, you may be recognizing Arryn Zech, Blake's voice actress, from her recent appearance as Black Swan(I believe that's the character's name) in Honkai Star Rail. I believe that's been her first voice acting job outside of RWBY, at least that I'm aware of.
I hope you get to fulfil that goal! Animation can be quite underappreciated by many people, which is ironic considering its ubiquity in pop culture today.

Blake Belladonna, 17 backstory is filled with spoilers... sorry.
Weapon: Gambol Shroud, a multi form Katana that has the blade fold down to become a gun with a sheath that acts as a cleaver. There is also a highly durable ribbon attached to the bottom that she uses to basically turn her weapon into a kunai.
Semblance: Shadow Clones. She can leave behind a shadow of herself that takes the hit so she can quickly move to a better angle of attack. When combined with Dust, it changes the effect of the clone she leaves behind.
Adam Taurus, unknown age. Backstory is also spoiler filled.
Weapon: Wilt and Blush, a katana that aides in Adam's Semblance. The sheath has a shotgun that can fire the sworn out at high speed as well as just act as a shotgun,
Semblance: Moon Slice. Adam can absorb kinetic energy with the blade of his weapon and store it up. When he has enough energy, he can unleash that stored energy back at where ever, or whomever he wants. The more energy he absorbs, the stronger the resulting attack.
In the trailer, we are introduced to what will later be revealed as Atlesian Knights. These particular models are AK-130s. There is also the spider that is simply known as the Spider Droid.
The train is a transport for Dust. That snow flake symbol seems familiar...

Hio the general reason and the meaning behind the mask will be explained in the series later so no spoiling just watch and wait for the answer^^.

Yes, everything's a gun 😂 Im looking forward to watching you analyze the series. All of Volume 1 from start to finish is about an hour and a half lol.

Making every effort to avoid spoilers, I can not stand how they managed to make Adam both extremely cool (cool enough to basically steal the show from Blake in her own trailer)... but also just _so_ cringe at the same time LMAO

Being a fairly amateur show at first, there are some issues with voice acting being not super great at first, but the vast majority of them get pretty decent, I think... Later on there are a few industry veterans in the mix too... Also, even episode one is a decent improvement over the trailers, I think... That said, I think Adam stays pretty cringe lol... Which arguably fits his character... I'm not entirely convinced it was intentional, but oh well ^_^;;

Did they ruin Adam? Or were we just fools for buying into his hype like so many other people that believed in him?
I doubt it's something they necessarily did intentionally, based on some other things they maybe fumbled, but I do find those parallels interestingly coincidental....
Either way, the Yellow trailer is going to be a lot of fun for them, I expect.
