how does it impact battery life of steam deck? it's the same or it consumes more power to stream?

@@AnastasiaZibareva the rog ally is a handheld pc and the tutorial shows its just using hdmi to usb c so why wouldnt it be the same
Yes you can, i've tried it. Its the exact same way, USB Camera, Ugreen video capture and HDMI. My win10 pc detects it as another monitor and allows me to extend it over. But if its your personal(not work) pc, its easier to just use the Spacedesk app to do it, because you don't need to get the video capture card.

@@realnight_bot2536 I'm not sure. You should be able to set the Mi Pad 6 at a high refresh rate but I'm not sure if the feed is actually running at that speed. My guess is the bottleneck would come from the USB camera app. I've played youtube videos on it and it looks totally fine, but I actually don't play any games at all, much less high speed ones.

How is the input lag ?
@@asseforlifeefgrd I have y700 2023, there is no input lag. But when you connect it as a monitor you can play only with steam deck controlls, so I'm using Steam Link and playing on a tablet + gamesir controller. I like that you can aim with tablet touchscreen with Stem Link, you can't do that with HDMI connector.

It supports 144Hz. I plugged it in directly on the my desktop as well with RTX 3080, and I can set its refresh rate to 144Hz.

Folks you can use any tablet. It works on every console as well.

Just use super display. It's cheap and works good even in wireless mode. just connect tablet with normal usb C cable and other with OTG.

Yes, you can. Just get a Type C dock so you have additional USB ports.

@@pedropdemello7878 yes I've tried it. Actually there is an app that supports it. But ur USB cable should be very efficient. I used the app called spacedesk. U ve to download this app in both parties PC and ur tablet. U can adjust the quality thro the settings.

Xiaomi pad 6 cant do it at the same time. What i mean is you cant do charging while docking using usb hub
