Layne and Tony and Pattycake are just so fricken creative! Their “villains lair” series is so much fun. My favourite production wise which you might appreciate is their “Girls like you”. The production is so precise and it’s an absolute bop of a cover.
The few Pattycake productions I've seen have all been terrific. We were all a bit sad that Tony left VP to do more behind the camera work but together with Layne they've made whole new genre of musical videos. Layne is so incredibly talented.
Well I'm glad the Tony is at least assisting more with behind the scenes stuff, you know? I love their style of musical videos! It's very fitting for them.
Pattycake is always a winner. Thanks Layne and Tony! As a Disney fan, have you ever seen Paint's "After Ever After" videos. Definitely not your childhood Disney, and not really family friendly (most jokes would go over young children's heads though), but pretty darn funny. It helps if your sense of humor has a dark side. Mind you, I'm not suggesting you react to them, just thought you might like them to watch on your own.
PattyCake certainly needs a larger audience. Marvellous storytelling and good music. The fantasy of Layne Stein and Tony Wakim.
