  • 27,000 sq. ft Million Dollar Mega Mansion Abandon for 12 years, frozen in time. 10 bedrooms, 10.5 bathrooms, partially finished indoor pool, basketball court, in-law/maid suite & 4 car garage on 2.18 acres. Beautiful architecture, fixtures, tiles, marble, columns. Tons of personal property left behind. Name brand clothes, shoes, jewelry, tv, etc. Chanel, Nike, Gucci, Lebron.... Christmas tree left still standing and a must see all mirror closet. This is definitely a rare find and such a sad back story. Father & son passed away in a single engine plane crash and the wife and 3 remaining children lost everything. The father was a high ranking doctor who built this home in 2006 for his family to live in but only 2 years later and 90% finished the father and his teenage son passed away and the family was left in huge debt that ended up causing them to lose their only home.

For your next video: constructive criticism made with no ill-intent- Move your camera more slowly (I was getting dizzy from all the spinning and fast movements) and hold your camera a bit higher to get shots of the entire room. This video was mostly floor and wall shots. Interesting things sped by. Don't be afraid to move slower and spend time in each room. I'll be watching for your next one! Good luck!

@susangurnett310 so the remaining family members left in 2009 and the property was sold to a real estate agent and a Nigerian national who lived there until 2016 when he then fled back to Nigeria and found himself under arrest on suspicion of terrorism charges and the homes taxes had been failed to be paid for. Then he suspiciously died (which they believe his death had foul play). Some of this history I was able to find out more recently.

As much as I appreciate seeing that beautiful house...
I can't be happy to feel I am intruding...
My dad was also a doctor...we also were 4 children and we lived in a huge beautiful house too...
When the head of the family goes...the famy life goes...
He was probably young and did not have enough life Insurance.
When you are at a good place in your life...often you think nothing can happen to you.
Hope the family are ok now.

The father who was killed in the plane crash was not young. He was 55 years old and died along with his 17 yo son. The wife left behind was his wife of 10 years and not the mother of his children. He also had a disabled daughter from a former wife (former wife died in 2018) and no provisions were left for this disabled daughter. Numerous attempts were made to contact her half siblings and all were left unanswered. Pretty disgusting behavior.

Dr. Collison flew small planes as a hobby. In 2008, he and his 15-year-old son died in a plane crash in the Shenandoah Mountains during a storm.
At 12 years old, Amira Collison lost her father, older brother and way of life as she knew it - “most of everything we had, including our home and our livelihood,” she says.
Unable to maintain the life Dr. Collison had built for their family, and shattered from the loss of her husband and son, Mrs. Collison became severely depressed and anxious. She sent Amira Collison away from their affluent Maryland community to live with her grandmother in South Side Chicago.
There, she would see and experience firsthand the disparities people of color and lower socioeconomic status face - namely in health care and education.

Ok Everyone, so first I would like to say that I appreciate all the feedback. Secondly, please keep in mind that I am still new to this and I realize now some of the things I need to critique. Thirdly, I understand how frustrating it is to watch something that makes you dizzy so I will definitely take that into consideration on my next video and move more slower. Lastly, I am not whispering on the video the reason why my voice sounds so quiet on the inside compared to the outside is because the outside was taped at home with a voice recorder and then I overlapped the recording with the opening video but the inside I was talking on the video as I was taping it so I now realize that I need a mic so that my voice is picked up louder with the video. Once I publish my next video please check it out and you should see a vast improvement. Again, this is a learning process and I enjoy the feedback so I can know what I would like to do better on my next one. 😉

When Ime was killed in 2015 in Nigeria, she became sole owner. She has almost lost it to foreclosure but somehow still owns it. What I cannot figure out is why she left so much of her stuff there and why she doesn't sell it since she's doing nothing with it and it's just disintegrating day by day. Now people wanna preserve a empty house thats bigger then 20 average homes to rott away. Yall make 0 sense. Hug that tree especially hard wood trees that are massive as let hard wood cupboards and floors rott to the point it cant be salvaged and chop down another hard wood forest. Reduce, reuse, recylcle. Tell me i cant have a plastic bag to carry my food home as these massive houses with so much usable material sit empty to rott and no longer usable. Demo piece by piece taking care not to cause severe damage and 90% reusable. Hell i built a free house when did a demo job. Even saved the wire and plumbing. Those bricks used worth like 4 bucks each times thousands. Just those bricks worth like 100 grand. The hard wood floors 2 bucks min a sq foot times 10 000 sq feet. The counters gotta be 5 grand. The cupboards over 5 grand. The studs are like 6 bucks each times thousands. Floor joists are like 2 by 10 worth 20 bucks each. Beams to a massive house like that worth hundreds each 16 feet. Windows a few hundred each. The sinks and tubs etc a couple hundred each. All that wire is 2 bucks per pound and save long ones to build another house. Old homes with copper pipes 5 bucks a pound. New houses with pvc pipes can be re used. Doors 100 to 1000 each. Ply wood 60 bucks a sheet and hundreds in there. Walls, floors all have plywood. So like half million in usable building material rotting away as we pollute to create more and remove trees that clean our pollution just to preserve a house that nobody could ever afford so it rotts. Stupid people preserve stupid things but expect others that dont care to pay the bills.

@@MrGlenspace if i ever saw that i tell you what, i would remove a small trailer full of stuff as a test run. If im un noticed and remote area i would pull that house apart til only a foundation left. Every scrap of wood or brick etc would be gone. 4 guys in 2 weeks could strip that place and save almost everything to be sold as used building material. The rest is scrap or wood to heat the house over winter. Pitch tents and go 18 hrs per day and ya 4 guys can do so much that before they knew it the house is gone. 6 or 8 53 foot van trailers dropped out of site. In 2 weeks be a cement foundation and 6 or 8 trucks hook up and gone in 5 min. Be on unsolved mysteries, the house that vanashed into thin air. Where i live there was a abandoned building that sat 30 yrs. The city paid us 4 guys to demo. 4 story building with houses and street only 20 feet away. In 2 weeks we were done. Why wouldn't the bank sell off the furnishings and then listed the house so they could recoup a big portion of the investment? Doesn't make sense to me. Even if the bank took the house, furnishings and property; it would seem that they would have been able to keep their clothes.
    Beautiful home.

If you're just going to use your cell phone, turn in horizontal , you'll get more of the room in the video. Beautiful home, it's terrible that the family lost everything. This happened to my family and I know many others that this has happened to.
All I can say, is at least I had it all once.. 😂
My Dad died, my sister got sick and almost died. At that point we needed to get my sister to another state where my brother’s a doctor to save her life. Nothing meant anything to us anymore, so we just left our home filled with hundreds of thousands of dollars of everything. Priorities change when you loose your Dad and almost lose your sister too..
Now I wish that we did things differently, but we didn’t.
Before our nightmare, we had a neighbor that owned a 30,0000 sq’ house. His bastard kids wanted the house and his money. They had him declared non compos mentis and put him in a nursing facility. He owned the largest ambulance service in Los Angeles.
