Ranks in dm ccs make bils by using their trusted position in x staking which is basically taking a cut in their losses. For eg if theres a 1.1x deathmatch with a 2b pot if you win you would only win back 1900m
I fully believe all the giga rich players in this game are involved in RWT in one way or another. Even if they're not buying or selling directly many of them are facilitating it. I don't believe any of them are doing massive sell offs and getting banned/quitting but I do think most of them buy gold - after all if your goal is just to be the richest runescape player, even a minimum wage job will buy you more gp/hr than you can make doing ToA.

Hi the equation would be 1trillion divided by 1 million (as they only buy in mill increments) so 1million sets of 1million gp x0.25cents gives you $250,000 for 1 trillion osrs gp
You can't do the math by the gold prices, atm trusted buyers are doing .07 - .15 cents per mill and 99% of them cap at 5b per 48 hours. You just can't and won't ever be able to sell 1 trill at 1 time, it would take weeks to sell

allowing DM makes no sense, the duel arena at least had a tax on it so it was a gold sink and it was harder to scam players. DM is such worse in every way shape and form. Even if all DM quit, it's only like 500 players at most who partake regularly, so who cares about their membership.
Problem with that is Jagex already got some heat for "endorsing" online gambling with how bad duel arena addictions were getting. They should have taken the full measure to take it out of the game entirely(DM cc's and all other forms of gambling) but they didn't, so this is the mess that we're left with...

You get two warnings actually, before perm. But buying offences expire yearly, if you get caught three times in concurrent periods(sometimes two if huge trades)you WILL get permed banned.

DM is part of the game. Jagex shouldn't be interfering in players having fun. Ban RWT that's fine, but don't lock a piece of content just because you're to lazy to enforce. This is the same vibes as trade restrictions that caused millions of players to leave in the past.
