As an American I will do my best to rally a lift on those stupid sanctions. Embarrassing that Americans go on about their lives with no clue about these type of sanctions affecting the lower classes of Syria and many other countries around the world
You will not change anything. And the sanctions do not cause anything. The dirty Syrian president and his family own 400 billion dollars around the world, all stolen money over 50 years.
If we had many of you. our countries in the middle east will be just fine. American policy is affecting us badly, as its the strongest country in the world. we know Americans themselves are just fine but, we hate America policy Thank you
I notices the first couple days after this earthquakes alot of headlines talked about the destruction in Turkey but did t mention Syria as much. Yeah these world "leaders" cam do better. Channels like this will bring people together. I've never had a problem with any person from any country just governments.
Chris you are a very good man thank you for sharing please let your viewers know that they can donate through Islamic relief they have people on the ground in Syria take care of yourself and thank you once again much love from the UK 🇬🇧
To quote you, 'I'm glad I'm here'. I'm glad too, a balanced & humane broadcast. Please tell Rami that I, a British OR specialist, would gladly volunteer for several months to provide aid in N Syria. The reporters may be working elsewhere now, yet the needs of the stoic people of Syria remain
I would love to donate to people on the ground in Syria I’m sure a lot of people would think the same if you’re planning another trip there you should setup a fundraiser before hand. Thanks for your journalism
Absolutely devastating. Reminds me of the recovery operations after 9/11 and the California quake in San Francisco….I believe in 89. Sadly much of this could have been prevented with appropriate building codes but poverty truly dictates how things are built in most of the world. This isn’t the west, they will rebuild.
Sanctions did not come out of nowhere. Ask the 10 million Syrian refugees who fled Syria about the reason for the sanctions. And visit the graves of half a million dead were killed in a brutal war against the life-loving people when they demanded their most basic rights to live in dignity without fear of the brutal military government that has ruled Syria for decades. Half of Aleppo is destroyed by the Russian barbaric air raids on the city. In the previous video about Hama, the tour guide mentioned that there were 118 waterwheels on the Orontes River, and now only 8 waterwheels remain. Of course, I understand that as long as he is in Syria, neither you nor he will be able to talk about what happened.. Otherwise, we will see the Canadian government calling for your release, and Ramy will disappear forever. But when you return to Canada, which hosted thousands of Syrian refugees who fled the oppression of criminals in Syria, just ask them what happened in Hama. And they will tell you the saddest Syrian story when the Syrian army destroyed the whole city of and destroyed its most historical attractions dating back thousands of years, leaving only the few that you see now. It is unfortunate that Syria, which has 12,000 years of history, ends up being hostage to these criminals who occupied and destroyed the country in order to stay in power. I am glad that you were able to visit Syria. Most Syrians cannot visit or return to their homes. And thank you because we were able, through you, to see our homeland, who are deprived of visiting it. Sanctions on Syria do not prevent the Syrian government from bringing in food or medical supplies, you can read about it in detail online. However, these sanctions prevented criminals from financing their war against the Syrians. The dictatorial government in Syria exploited the earthquake to its advantage. It promoted the removal of sanctions as the only obstacle for Syrians to reconstruction and recovery. Unfortunately, many were drawn to this propaganda and promoted it. It would be better if you and others demanded to force the Syrian government, Russia and Iran to accept a political solution. After accepting it, millions of Syrian refugees will return to their country for reconstruction. All sanctions will be lifted on the new government through which the Syrians will rule their country, not Russia, Iran or any other country.
You cannot travel as you please in Syria, and you must have a government certified guide with you to even leave your hotel. Many areas are off limits, so no I cannot travel to Idlib.
