A lot of folks don't seem to understand a basic reality. When you strap on some colors, and climb on 2s, you've entered a whole new reality, with a whole new set of rules. Excellent advice as usual BD. In my experience it's ok to decline the offer if asked to be a support club for a 1% club. You just need to be honest with them. Not everyone has the time or commitment. Despite what some people believe, 1%ers aren't unreasonable and if your honest with them, they will respect that. But if you should decide your in, be loyal, honest and show respect for them at all times and you won't have a problem.
Me and my brothers started our club about a year ago. Approached the dominant (largest 1% in the world) in our area for the blessing and took it fron there. Now a year later we have never been told to rock support patches it was always a choice, we have never been asked to indulge in any type of criminal activity, never been told to do anything against our will, its been nothing but love and respect.
We would be proud to rock support patches.....if they asked, but they didn’t , our big bros are very supportive of us and they’ve NEVER asked us to do anything illegal or have us do anything against our will .....they’re our brothers and we love them as so,they treat us with kindness and respect.
Love your videos & thank you for your content. I'm a Patch Holder in a support club for one of the Big-5 1% Clubs. Ours is the type that was created from the start as a support club, we have our own by-laws and total autonomy in how we run our club. The big difference is that, because we are wearing our Sponsors colors, we are in effect representing them in everything we do. Consequently we are held to a higher standard than most independent clubs would be. It's very much like having a big brother that loves you, wants the best for you but is going to let you know when you're messing up. It's all about family. Personally I wouldn't have it any other way because I love him right back.
SA Stoneking I like your honest and straightforward answer and it sounds like you’re gente trust you ,and are proud to call you brother ,support those that support you .fuck those that dont
I'll say from personal experience if offered to be a support club you need to take your time and seriously find out if you can meet the expectations. If you arent 100 percent ready for it then be honest and turn the offer down. Its respectful to not waste anyone's time by half ass attempts. I've had to say no, and there were no hard feelings we just werent ready and the parties involved respected the honesty.
I rode up with some bro's that party with 81 and BnW and been doing it for 11yrs trouble free the understanding is that their a family riding club that wishes to stay out of politics . Think wisely about making your club a support club 👍
A support club is the perfect place to learn, hang out with your dominant. Invite them to your parties, events. Hell invite them and their ol’lady to your house for dinner, BBQ, drinks, whatever. Get to know them, let them get to know you, ask questions. That even goes for non-support clubs. It’s a community that has to work together to maintain the lifestyle alive Many dominants view their support clubs as brothers, like Black Dragon said they will back you up, they will cut and bleed for their support clubs. The GOLDEN RULE! Never for get protocol and respect.
we was approached by an dominant however we refused that we became a support club as we didnt want to be drawn into known troubles between rivals in my area it has paid off we have got on with all mc clubs and we can wear our vests loud and free without risk of attacks etc and to be left with our clubs missions
I hung around a support club, even met a few of their big brothers. Several friends joined the support club, and yes, they had restrictions on where they could ride. There were boundaries they simply could not cross. They also had to get up and go when big brother called. It was a fun environment to be around, but it was very restrictive for my friends who were members. And yes, when their big brothers went to war, the support club was expected to SUPPORT that effort.
Something I didn't hear you touch on. What about dominant clubs requiring new clubs to be support clubs for a certain amount of time as a condition for blessing?
You have 2 options in that you can either take what they offer to allow your mc to exist on their set or go against the protocol and be a pop up club and risk the backlash. There are a few mcs that have stood their ground and said no they won’t wear a support patch and carried on with no issues but more often than not when asking the dominant for the blessing they say only if you wear a support patch
Has the term “cuts” really always been used? Or is it a location thing? Living in Pagans country, hanging out in bars where Pagans and other clubs would hang out, up until all of the “Sons of Anarchy” hype, I’ve never heard the term “cuts” before, I’ve always heard of them referred to as “colors” and members called “patch holders”.
When I first saw Sons of Anarchy I kept asking myself - "What in the hell are they talking about with this 'cuts' sh#t? Like WTF is a cut? Am I missing something here?" as I had never heard the term myself either, and I'm from a California club. But truth is my club had gotten away from wearing cuts nearly two decades before I ever joined them. So they were all wearing colors and members were patch holders. So, my friend, I don't know if it is a cultural or generational thing. But even I'm calling them cuts these days, all though I still call them colors too!

Why would u become support for another club u looking for a daddy? That's kinda how I feel wtf u getting out of doing work for another club, especially if them mfz aint going to back your play but they expect u to back them foh. I'd rather just get up my numbers really high then slap on a MC patch after or just prospect for that club so why support I aint into being extorted.

Actually I should be keeping my opinions to myself and just teaching the subject. It doesn't require my interjection.
True bd. Im in a family based rc, although we prospect and have ranks. We were offered to support the dominant in our area and our club wasnt able to offer that commitment - we were honest with them and followed protocol and they were absolutely cool with us! - respect is everything, show it and be shown it. H&R bd and bsmc
You have a prospect period in your RC? Think BD did a video previously touching on that subject. 🤔
