An incredible Interview and story. I've spent time as a minister working with the biker world and others that have gotten lost in the pain and spiritual loneliness of the darker side of life. I have lived the darker side of life as well. Mel's testimony is a real treasure. Mel's testimony makes me feel thankful I chased after God and people in pain. No money there for a street minister and I'm fairly poor but I feel grateful and blessed. Thank you for this polite and respectful interview.

I’m 54, have done a lot of things, maybe not to Mel’s level. One thing that hit me was, I started knowing God, and slid away for many years. One day I picked up my Bible and began reading again. Funny thing was that I wasn’t just reading, all of a sudden, I understood. I wasn’t just reading, I understood what I was reading!!! Just like Mel, God opened my mind. I say every day to people I talk to God about, it fine that you don’t have my faith, when God wants you to understand, he will explain it to you! Thanks guys, this video made my evening!

Great podcast. Humble man and a good example of the fundamentals of religion, God is powerful and submitting to the Almighty is is necessary to move in the right direction. His story reminds me of how lucky I am to be alive, healthy and providing for my children. Growing up living the fast life and surviving is not like working hard and being loyal to God. No one wants to die under bad terms, getting right with God and all the people we have hurt is essential to making the amends needed to put the past in the past. Glad you made it Mel. Keeping it real is only possible with the truth and accepting the mistakes of the past, then doing our best to teach the younger generation not to give up and that its never too late to be a good person, a good father, a good Christian, good American, and a good example for others. You are helping others by sharing your life experience, thank you for sharing.

Listening to this, you can just see how Satan was right there guiding Mel on the path to destruction, but God was also there. Through all the bad years, God spared his life, knowing that the time would come for him to turn back to God.
You just see the patience and kindness of God. Many of us know that if we had died in our dark years we would have been lost, but God showed us great grace and mercy and prevented us from dying in our sins.

I had a near death experience and was afraid that if I started riding again I would fall back into the Lifestyle. After 10 years I bought a Motorcycle again and now I'm okay with it. I still have to watch where I go and who I rife with because it can all come back instantly.

Good man. Before and after. I’m the first to admit that if something feels good to me. Watch out lol. I’m a recovering alcoholic and addict. Haven’t had any alcohol for over 8 years. The drugs I take are prescribed and I turn them in so I don’t think their M&M’s 😬 . And vape. Stopped cigarettes over 4 years ago. Long story short I believe we all need some release in this crazy world. I probably will never stop nicotine. Hardest thing I ever tried so when vaping came along it was like a Godsend. I saved money and still got nicotine lol. But I listened to this whole show and I’m happy for you that your doing well👍🏻 I was lucky enough to have a good upbringing myself. Parents took me to church when I was very young but I started turning into Damien from the OMEN lol . I’ve said the sinners prayer million times. Backslid a ton, but he’s always there and by the Grace of God I’m still kicking. Stay safe big guy. God bless
