BD good advice. I grew up around 1%er’s and my Father taught me from the start what a 1%er is and you just don’t mess with em, hang with em but Never mess with em. 45 years later riding my Honda Shadow, no cut no colors, nothing to disrespect the 1%er’s and I never have an issue, because I’m not stepping on toes. It’s not uncommon to stop somewhere and run into 1%er’s, they look me and the bike over, generally we exchange nods of approval at least.
They are not offended by casual riders, they are offended by posers.

I used to frequent a bar in my youth that were supported by a big 1% Club. Never had a single issue with ANY of them.(except tearing some of them up on the dart boards :) Its the wanna be clowns coming in, big mouths, egos etc. Resepect shown was respect given. I kinda miss that. I guess minding ones own business and not being a dick, is just too much to ask from people these days. Because thats where the problems stem from.

When I was just out of high school I was asked to fix a girls truck who worked with my girlfriend only to have a huge biker man roll up and ask me why I was working on his truck.I was so scared but had fixed it and had charged the girl $20 but told the man its free. He put me into the truck, drove to his clubhouse and gave me $40 ,I was almost shakingI was so scared.

The thing I've never understood with the blessing is, 1 group is founded on no one will tell me what to do. But then turn around and tell others how to act? Not picking sides or anything it's just something that's always made me scratch my head.

Me too. But isn't that what force, violence, and intimidation have always been about? And the only way around Force, violence, and intimidation it is a stronger Force, more violence, and equal or more intimidation. That's what the police department is. A group that is way tougher then anyone around them. They can bring the noise if necessary. So it is reality.

First off I like to say black dragon love your videos. now I'm a VP of a chapter in the Iron Legacy MC. I'm also a correctional officer for the state of Texas one thing I've learned over the years in the military and as a correctional officer and as a father respect is given when respect is received. Respect is earned when clubs intimidate other individuals that is not respect what they're trying to gain is fear that. Now We Are Men how do we teach our children the basis principles of respect when individuals go around as organized criminals committing acts of violence intimidation bringing fear to others. I get where you're coming from Black Dragon brother I used to be in Downaz Riderz MC and to this day I still consider a few of those guys Brothers of mine. We live in a country where intimidation violence should not be tolerated. as long as clubs I'm going to do that they will never be respected they can do Toys for Tots or any other public affair trying to show the world how they are just normal people but nobody will ever respect them as an honorable Club as long as they commit crimes. when you walk up on a man wearing a patch and attack him then you are nothing but a criminal.

Most of the biking world works on respect. I’m in a club and we work on respect. You respect us and extend your hand we will extend ours. But if you try being the big dawg and be disrespectful then we will show you that it don’t fly. So I just believe that if everyone would show respect we wouldn’t have most of this BS. We are all MEN and if we treat each other like MEN we wouldn’t have near as many problems as we do. Just my opinion. Great video BD

I know this is an older video but being from a 1% club and you and i being close i feel compelled to comment . As you are aware my club has adapted from a blessing to inclusion . A 1% clubs support clubs is the key to making a legit revenue . It drives the LEOs crazy .. and it makes both the 1% and the support clubs stronger for it . It is better to have a support club wanting to participate than be forced to comply. .

Big brother, I love you and respect you... you are old skool and very traditional however you gotta realize that times are changing. Just like state rockers aren't too big a deal bow in days... bikers aren't even looking like they used to and aren't thinking like they used to. At the same time, these rules were set a long time ago for a reason and some of these new kats gotta realize that all yall old timers paved the road for the rest of us young new bikers

Good day to you Mr. B.D. This is your loyal new listener in South Texas. As I told you before, for the last 3 years I have been knuckles up with a type of Cancer called Multiple Myeloma. It is the real deal I tell ya'. I'm not cryin' cuz that ain't allowed if you wanna call yourself a Cancer Warrior. I guess in M C speak that would be like calling yourself a 1%er when you got no game to contribute to any set. Or worse, having some negative game that one would hide away to get their patch. Somewhere, sometime, that demon inside is always going to rear it's ugly head. That my friend makes it hard on the whole club.
But, that's not why I'm pounding this out. I just want you know that when I say thank you I really mean it because your show has become a big piece of my therapy because I can't ride anymore. The narcotics and bone damage left behinds dictates that I consider other folks as well as myself cuz you know that riding and being stoned, drunk, in pain or otherwise impaired is just wrong.
What makes your show such an important part of my therapy is because you keep me in touch with the bike world and I need that. So, please keep on doing your thing because to some folks like me you and your gig may be more important than you know. So, a heartfelt thank you sir.I wish you every blessing and every success because you have earned both. If you ever want to come to South Padre Island you are always welcome at my house. With highest respects and highest regards, Cary
P.S. I have a gift for you and if you wish, you may email me at carybutters@gmail.com and we will get my humble thank you gift off to you in rapid fashion. PEACE !

I travel to visit my choice of clubs. The local clubs don’t like it either. Neither of them a dominant 1% club. They have tried to tell others they will not let them fly or start new colors. Funny a conversation with one of them said I know you support red/white. We are not having new clubs, unless it’s a diamond holder. Good thing you threw that disclaimer on it, or you going to be upset bub. Right now the whisper is going on. Won’t be long before you hear the roar.
Myself I will continue to travel and watch what I know is in the winds.

BD, another excellent vid, full of wisdom. Unlike a lot of the clowns talking about "I do what I want!", I'll talk from actual experience on the set. I lived most of these things being in a support club for a MC that wasn't blessed. One of our MC guys was assaulted by the dominant for refusing to remove his cut. He was fairly severely injured, and spent some time in the hospital. We were absolutely shunned. Our bike nights went from 40+ per week, to two at our last one. We held a charity ride, and got two people. The cops did target us, and several of the MC guys ended up on trial for felony gang activity. When I rode alone, or with my wife, I did not wear my cut, to avoid any drama or issues, that might especially affect my wife. The dominant knew me, and my bike, and still bring it up sometimes, and I turned in my vest almost a year ago and have cut ties with both clubs. Being in a club that wasn't blessed turned riding into work and stress, and killed all of the fun in it, and in being in a club. So, "do what you want", but be prepared to deal with the consequences. You are free to choose. But, freedom of choice does not equal freedom from consequences. Shiny side up!

If the one says yes is more dominant than the ones said no the one who said yes will most likely back you Against the other one cus it gives them numbers as they may become a brother club to you

You can NOT be a "supporter" for two MCs....You should sit down with both MCs, and explain your goals etc... Then after knowing the lay of the land, and have met ALL the MCs, 1% Clubs and the other established MCs....Then make your informed decisions.
Best Wishes... Godspeed and Blessings to You and Yours. TNGN

I recieved a blessing from the largest 1%er club in the world. And it was the best decision as a president i made on behalf of my club by far, i was considering not obtaining the blessing and just going for it but 🤷‍♂️. We were welcomed with open arms, there was no rules or regulations set forth for us, our club was OUR CLUB... what we did get was guidance and direction, they helped us obtain a CH and its been nothing but love, respect, and support.

The fact that it’s a completely unwritten participation agreement and completely unwritten set of rules across the board is the hardest part for most folks.
Yesterday this guy said to me “it’s not written that I should hold the door for my wife but I do it” and my reply was “yeah but your wife didn’t just show up and say ‘we’re together whether you like it or not simply because you exist and are eligible!’ you guys got married as a mutual choice.”
I hope big clubs slow down with the blessing nonsense seeing as it’s a rico predicate every time a big club says “you need our permission in our territory” and every time clubs get Rico indictments, legislation gets more and more harsh across the country for ALL of us and eventually we won’t be able to ride with patches on without getting pulled over and losing half our possessions..
Great video dragon, very informative 💯💯💯

Whenever I see any MC folks, they do what they do and never bother me. I don't bother them. If someone has a nice bike, I'll compliment on it. A club prospect complimented me on my ride some time ago. If you're not in the scene, you don't pretend to be with the stuff you wear and you don't bother club riders, I don't see why they would bother you.

I hope the people who are listening to another voice right now and all his bravado about a particular new club realize that they are following a poser who can’t help them when the 1% show up to sort this out. Are there such thing as a fraternity based MC? Like what if Omega Psi Phi wanted to launch a MC along their undergrad/grad chapters.... that would be awesome... numbers anywhere u go... brotherhood already baked in.... a dues system already in place... gosh if that's not a thing already, someone should go down to Decatur and get some talks going.... I can see divine 9 orgs being able to easily force thier way onto the set without 99 or 1% blessing. The numbers and structure are there... not to mention the many connections to professionals of all walks wether good, great to bad.

I have Masonic insignia on my bike for the benefit of other Masons . We're a fraternal organization. I don't wear a patch on my jacket so as to avoid confusion. I wear my ring . That's all I need to be recognized by Brother Masons across the country.

    Mr JBD,
Very informative show for those who are new. We're all Americans, born of a rebellion making us Defiant by Nature.
If it takes dominant years and not weeks or a month to approach a pop up, then there not very dominant and have no away in the area.
No disagreement on dedication. Though if it takes 5 years the new club would have dedicated brothers at that point. Then comes the aggression matrix. This one goes both ways. A pop-up Club is making the choice to wear patches without a blessing, on the same note the dominant club members are choosing to take it to a level that it need not be. If the 1% club is not a gang it doesn't need to go to that level beyond a simple conversation of who are you guys and what are you about. Remember your a club in it a gang. Don't act like it.
    Totally agree
Totally Agree with the add on to choose your fights wisely. I always find it interesting that when a dominant chooses to show up, it's done with overwhelming numbers. It's an intimidation tactic. That's the weakness because they're not rolling around on the streets every day with those kinds of numbers.
Totally Agree speak softly carry a big stick.
    Totally Agree.
    Totally Agree.
This goes back to gang vs club and people's actions. A person must be willing to go to the same level their opponent would. Like a trucker song said, you gotta stand for something or will fall for anything. That Kinfolk incident, 🙄🙄. And my favorite word nomenclature.
    Totally Agree.
If your club is doing your own thing why would you care about hanging with other clubs, 🤷‍♂️.
Iron Order,🙄😔. Had more respect for them when they were doing it they way they chose. Now its like they want the "cool kids" to recongize them. You do your own thing who cares.
Much respect for what you do!

Yo, Black Dragon, I'll be sure to get 1% blessing if I ever start 1% riding club like Gold Wing. To any doubters, no matter how imppossible a !% attack on you is Please know this! I got Spinal Meningitis swimming in a pool. Most people swim safely in a pool, but know rare things happen to people. This happened to me when I least expected Please take no chances. Please be safe---get thed 1 % blessing.

There's a number of non blessed clubs out there. Iron order being the largest. But they did earn their ability to rock that cut. Years of fighting with 1%ers and now besides the bullshit and sidewalk commandos, they are accepted. They may not be liked, but they are accepted.

Hi Black Dragon , I don't see you as telling people what to do but giving good sound advice , true they didn't ask for it but it's given . what I don't like is when advice is ask for and they go and do the opposite bringing 10 tone of manure down on them and then they moan like hell . well if people follow advice given then that 10 tone won't fall from a great height , Great Show by the way
