  • After a warmer and dryer start to the year in most of B.C., new data shows that snowpack levels across the province are nowhere close to normal.
With extremely low snow conditions, the Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) is warning for the potential of significant drought in the spring.
"We're concerned about water for firefighting, water for fish, water for agriculture, water for us and our homes and gardens. Spring is coming up - people should be thinking and preparing for dry conditions this spring," says OBWB Executive Director, Dr. Anna Warwick Sears.
