I did this once just to see the result... Logically Reyes is the best option mainly because he doesn't run Kadara like a mob boss... that shit needs to be left in the milky way with the reapers.
Reyes managed to fool you and backstab Sloane once - nothing stopping him from doing it again once you let him build up power by taking Kadara port. He's a manipulator, yet you mistook him for a friend. If it was profitable, he'd kill you on the spot and make it look like Sloane did it. You have to be naive to take his bait.
Oh Sloane would kill you, she'd probably announce it ahead of time and try to make a big spectacle about it, letting you have a chance to turn the tables. Reyes, he'll have somebody poison your drinks the next time you're at Vortex.
I chose sloane because she would be easier to deal with than reyes, I do believe we will have to take on the kandara leader eventually might as well choose the one that's more predictable
The main problem here is that we don't know how earnest Reyes is about his intents. He could actually be a chaotic good lovable rogue just willing to get his hands dirty, or he could be fuckin' space Hitler, or anything in between. Sloane, on the other hand, is the fuckin' godmother. Personally, I prefer taking the chance with Reyes, since there's at least a chance for a good outcome there. I don't disagree with people's concerns, in fact I share them, I just don't see a possibility of long-term peace with Sloane.
I thought Kadara was one of the most interesting parts of this game, mainly cuz it had a structure and a storyline. I think the Austin team wrote the entire area, which proves that not all of Andromeda's worst were involved just the good writers wereheavily overlooked and ignored.
Indeed this is by far the best written part of the game... on par with the original trilogy. Unfortunately in cannot be said the same for most of the rest of Andromeda...
The collective is actually objectively worse, they assassinate people and are manipulative backstabbers. I’d prefer the evil I know than the evil I don’t.
