Lol. The battle of the barrels. We've all been there (at least anyone who's stripped a GT750 engine). If there is a next time make yourself a pulling plate that bolts to the top of the barrels with some threaded holes to wind down bolts that push on the studs. A top tip is also to slide some OD14mm ID10mm tubes to slide over the studs (cut so they don't stick up proud of the barrels ie. flush with the top of the barrels) so the bolts that you are winding down don't slip off the top of the studs and jam everything up (a few examples of things jamming up on youtube for that reason). Looking forward to the rebuild (I've just got my casings back from the vapour blaster). If you can get the camera closer to what you're doing that would be even better. Thanks for taking the time to create / post. Good luck with the project!!!
Thanks for sharing that great info👍🏻And, thanks for watching. I figured it would’ve taken me as long to have gone to the store and bought the metal and made the jig, as it took to use the paint sticks get the jugs off. Definitely not as suave though😁😎
There’s a UA-cam video on getting the cylinders off using a metal plate with the head gasket bolts drilled into it & using the bolts to get the block off, it’s Suzuki gt750 idiot(far from it).good job getting the engine stripped, extra kudos for using wooden blocks, & no damage done. Super job mate

Great job brother. I’m glad I’m not alone with the struggles. This 750 virago has about kicked me butt. To get it free and the get the motor apart.
Thanks man💪
Can’t let you have all the fun!
