The problem is, there's no major damages suffered. You'd spend years in the court breaking down all the barriers and in the end you'd end up with a tiny settlement that wouldn't even begin to cover the legal fees you've incurred, that's provided you get a favorable result. The only thing you can do in situations like these is make a complaint, combined with exposure and hopefully there will be enough public pressure that the department will be forced to maybe make him do some remedial training. There's very little recourse and personal accountability when police overstep their authority like this and that's why they do it while smiling at you. They know there will be no personal accountability and they can get away with it, time and time again.

His bullying tactics and inability to uphold his oath to the core tenets of the constitution without using is "authority" to force his beliefs are what we DONT need in our PD. We had an event in my hometown at our local farmers market to go and advocate for the unborn being slaughtered. My friend and I started a group here locally and the day prior to our first event we went to the police station just to introduce ourselves and give them a friendly heads up as to what we had planned. The lady at the front desk insisted upon me needing a “protesters permit”, after of course I explained what we were doing and why we were doing it. To which I kindly explained I already had a “protesters permit”, it was amendment number 1 of the US Constitution. She “didn’t wanna argue with me”, so she got an officer, which I originally had asked for in the first place. He came out, shook my hand, agreed we were well within our rights to do what we were doing, and wished me a good day. We gotta stand up for ourselves, or biased actors in the name of the law will try to bully us out of our God-given rights, and once those are gone, who will stand up for the fatherless when that same law protects their destruction?
This individual will be fired today if he hasn't been already. Such behavior is unacceptable for a police officer. We have standards, and if those standards are violated, the consequence is losing the job-it's that straightforward. The expectations we set for officers while on duty are reasonable and easily upheld.

We had an event in my hometown at our local farmers market to go and advocate for the unborn being slaughtered. My friend and I started a group here locally and the day prior to our first event we went to the police station just to introduce ourselves and give them a friendly heads up as to what we had planned. The lady at the front desk insisted upon me needing a “protesters permit”, after of course I explained what we were doing and why we were doing it. To which I kindly explained I already had a “protesters permit”, it was amendment number 1 of the US Constitution. She “didn’t wanna argue with me”, so she got an officer, which I originally had asked for in the first place. He came out, shook my hand, agreed we were well within our rights to do what we were doing, and wished me a good day. We gotta stand up for ourselves, or biased actors in the name of the law will try to bully us out of our God-given rights, and once those are gone, who will stand up for the fatherless when that same law protects their destruction?

This individual will be fired today if he hasn't been already. Such behavior is unacceptable for a police officer. We have standards, and if those standards are violated, the consequence is losing the job-it's that straightforward. The expectations we set for officers while on duty are reasonable and easily upheld.

I mentioned this in previous videos, another obvious constitutional issue is "prior restraint". His actions in these videos alone are putting the City of Norman at risk. This would be a slam dunk case for a good civil rights lawyer, the city and police department should know that.
