I really like this little trailer. Big enough for me and my fur babies. Bottom bunk for my dog, because she likes cave-like hiding spots. And the top bunk would be perfect to keep the cat food and litter box available for the kitty and away from the dog! I have no dislikes. Just love!
Likes 1 big awning 2 storage door in bunks 3 towable by Jeep Wrangler (we did it) Dislikes 1 east/west bed 2 hand crank front jack 3 small shower 2017 Coachmsn Clipper 17FQ was our first travel trailer! This brings back LOTS of memories!
It's a good low end starter towable for someone who has a strong V6 to pull it. I could see this being a lot of folk's first camper. It ticks all the boxes: small, lighter, cheaper, but still has enough room for up to 5 people. Pluses are: foldable bunk, with bigger door, for short canoes, and/or maybe bikes, a nice sized bathroom (I agree no sink is right thing to do) for that small of a camper, and a power awning. Things I don't like, are basic, such as I'd prefer the emergency hatch be in the back (if possible) so it's easier to slide canoes into the bunk area. I'd have preferred they put in IKEA like ribs under the bunks and the queen bed. The ribs aren't expensive, they're light, and they add a "box-spring" feel to the mattresses. Lastly, upgrade the microwave to a convention oven, it's worth the extra $. It doesn't need a gas oven. I'd also look into a screen room add on for the big awning, it would (especially in the south) add some nice living space to the camper. Love the video, thanks for covering the smaller, lighter campers!
I love no slides! We don't need bunks though. Love the storage where the bunk is. Way to short in height for us! Way to go guys! Great video as always! Will is a trooper for climbing in the small bunk!
My favorite part was that you are including comparable RV with the one you showed. There are so many RVs out there so it’s hard to compare but with your knowledge it makes it much easier to do so. Great job Will.
3 Likes: 1: Good price 2: Nice power awning and entry stairs 3: Cool storage area beneath/behind bottom bunk 3 Dislikes: 1: Bed looks way too short 2: No convection oven or regular oven 3: Flimsy blinds
Saying three things you like and dislike is great. It shows you aren't trying to sell every trailer as a perfect trailer. Great video and funny to watch.
Dislikes: -No window on door -No convection oven -sleeps 3-5 people but seats 2 Likes: -Steps -Rear shower, nice to have a water source near the “outdoor living area” -Amount of storage
Matt, It's not a queen size bed, the plan shows 54 x 74, which is 1" shorter and the same width as a standard "Full" size mattress, a Queen mattress is 60 x 80
We bought the 2021 Clipper 17BHS (with slide) and we love it !! It's just two of us but thought the bunks would be cool if someone wanted to come.. for now we use the bunks for storage. The tongue jack is my only issue and that's fine with me i'm just gonna buy one.. We bought this RV for easy travel not to live in so it's everything we need to get out and enjoy life :)
I completely agree on that back door that is an awesome place for storage the steps are incredible for this type of trailer the tongue jack does not matter that much to me being at the price point again the bathroom I'm not sure about.
LOL with Will! He's a great addition. I like it for a single person. But convert that bunk area to clothes etc. storage. I'm small and love the shower! 😊
Thanks, Guys for this review!! My hubby is 6’2 this one ain’t gonna work lol Likes: 1 solid steps 2 flip up bed storage 3 tons of storage Dislikes: 1 manual tongue jack 2 bed length/ceiling height both short 3 no oven or convection oven
Three things I like: 1) large awning, 2) entry steps with large handle, 3) price point. Three dislikes 1) low ceiling, I am 6’3” and need higher roof, 2) manual tongue jack, might as well stay with my popup 3) dinette looks tight, would have like to see Will sit in it. We are looking for an entry level TT to upgrade from our POP. Can you do a review on a unit that has walk around bed (room for CPAP) and large dinette area, but still self-contained, no slides? Thanks!!!
For entry level this has some nice features Prepped for solar Solid steps Decent fridge Dislikes Hard to complain for the price and it’s small and entry level so anything I would pick on is going to be because of all those things. Omg! I’m dying watching Will climb into that teeny bunk! He’s such a good sport!
I like this travel trailer even though it is small. Judy didn’t like the fact of the crank hitch. Other that it’s a nice good travel trailer. Liked how Will tried to fit in the bed and bunk. Great job Matt and Will. Stay safe.
This towable fills a niche in the camping world. It is what it is, a entry level trailer. Good price and I totally agree with ya'lls likes and dislikes. I am 6'3 260 pounds and So this unit would not be for me but not a bad entry level. Good video ya'lls and stay safe.
Likes 1 the steps, 2) the storage, & the awning. Dislikes 1) manual tongue jack, 2) the size of the door for the under bunk storage (it doesn’t need to go higher than the floor of the bed / more space for air leakage, & 3) no oven.
The 3 things I like about this travel trailer: 1. the entry steps combo with the full length awning 2. no sink in the bathroom 3. the extra storage under the bunks with the access from the outside The 3 things I don't like about this travel trailer: 1. no convection microwave 2. no window in the door and the bottom bunk 3. no power tongue jack
Hello, I love the bunk storage, sink is to small, no oven, it's just to small. Colors are pretty though. I like the countertops! Great review Matt and Will!👍👍❤❤
Glad you are doing entry level trailers. I like seeing what is available out there. Dislikes: 1. Manual tongue jack. 2. Not a fan of wood frame trailers due to safety concerns. 3. Bed orientation, while I understand why they placed the bed this way, climbing over your partner to get up is not good. 4. No oven, I would rather have a stove/oven combo and not have a microwave. 5. Bathroom, just a no, too small. 6. Small tight bunks, okay for small children but really no one else. 7. While I appreciate what they were trying to achieve, the whole trailer feels very tight and cramped. Likes: 1. Large awning to enjoy the outdoors and extend the living space. 2. Sturdy entry steps. 3. Movable table so if you are boondocking you can take it outside. 4. Storage areas.
Poor Will. You didn’t look too comfortable in the bunk. LOL 😆. This was definitely a hobbit travel trailer. You two guys had me cracking up during the entire video. 🤣🤣🤣 BTW, it is a cute small trailer especially for a young family ... who is preferably under 5 ft.
Please check out the Forestriver Geo Pro line the 19FBS please I'm thinking of traiding in for that model was gonna do it last year , this years upgrades are pretty good, Matt would love your opion on the Geo Pro line
Great review! I have a 2021 17fq and wanted to just see this. Being a big guy definitely has its shortcomings (I'm big dude too). These trailers ARE narrow. My lady and I do the dance passing each other too. The walk-around queen in mine helps - I see anyone hitting their head getting out from the wall-side in this one. I really have no complaints being a new owner tho. There are always gonna be gripes. That factory mattress is atrocious. It had to go!I am looking for a way to attach the dinette cushions cuz they move getting out and it's annoying (adhesive velcro pads didn't work) Great video tho.
This was a funny video ! Likes: Short length Price 2nd door to enlarge storage Dislikes: Bed is really small No oven or convection microwave Dinette too small
Sorry, but too many "for what it is". Could you envision 4 people stuck in this on a rainy day? Single person, tear out the bunks and convert to storage.
It’s just a really cheap small travel trailer. This is a good little trailer for a weekend trip to a few dats trip. Not longer than this. And short people and young kids. Likes: Cheap Fairly good layout Outside storage Dislikes: Kitchen counter material No curtain/separation for the beds And the plastic toilet actually did not creak. Lol.
Don't like that itty bitty sink at all. I like that bunk door, but the first thing I thought of was what a convenient way for my kids to sneak out at night.
I don’t like how there is no way to get on the top bunk. I don’t like how there is no way to bake anything and I don’t like how much it weights for it being so small. I do how ever like the counter space, I do like all the storage and I like the big fridge
Likes: 1. Flip up bunk for storage. 2. Entry steps. 3. Awning. Dislikes: 1. Mini blinds behind kitchen sink. 2. Should be a convection microwave if no oven. 3. No sink in the bathroom. I love watching the two different perspectives between you both. Definitely not a trailer for taller people.
I'm single and have no need for a bunkhouse. I would love to see some 15-21 foot rear bath travel trailers that can be towed with a SUV or mid-size pickup with 5,000 lb towing capacity.
Way too small for me, would be a hard pass. That being said; Dislikes: 1) I'm 6' and chubby so this travel trailer would most likely not be comfortable for height and weight. 2) I agree with Matt about the kitchen, needed either an oven or convection oven 3) would have preferred a sofa bed with how small the trailer is Likes / Loves: 1) Nice, Big awning space for the outside with good solid steps 2) Large bunkhouse storage door 3)pass through storage under the bed
This is a camping trailer. For what it is it's OK. Older campers always managed to have an oven. JS. That bathroom is passable. This is definitely not for full timers.
Will is the new Andrea on travel trailer reviews. She stays so busy with homeschooling, had to let some of her reviews go. I hope she is getting some rest!🌸
Basic trailer for families. Dislike no oven without convection/microwave. Bathroom is a plus. (I remember Grandparents trailer.... this is much better. )
WILL IS A GREAT ADDITION TO THE SHOW!
Hi Will, it's great to see you settling in so quickly! It's super to have your slightly different outlook on each trailer, too - plus, The Tall Test!
Thank you for the feedback and for watching! 😁
I really like this little trailer. Big enough for me and my fur babies. Bottom bunk for my dog, because she likes cave-like hiding spots. And the top bunk would be perfect to keep the cat food and litter box available for the kitty and away from the dog! I have no dislikes. Just love!
That's a good way to use that bunk setup! I'm single with furkids, too.
love how Will just stayed on the door, laser focused like a pro!
It’s cute and certainly afford it but don’t need bunks and like a separate bedroom. Thanks again guys. Good job!!

How can you not love will. Keep up the good work guys.
We appreciate you Will! I love what a good sport you have been with Matt's crazy ideas :D
That bed should be a murphy bed to save on space. Its cute for short trips though. Great job!
This trailer provides a way for the family to enjoy camping on a budget. It does a ver6 reasonable job of it fo4 that sales price.
I love no slides! We don't need bunks though. Love the storage where the bunk is. Way to short in height for us! Way to go guys! Great video as always! Will is a trooper for climbing in the small bunk!

Thank you for showing a 6'3" person on the bunk! Our teen is 6'3".
Good job Will, you put a smile to me face.
This is quite sufficient! I like the bunk storage! I could see parking this at the beach to sleep in and going out for meals!

Will is such a good sport for testing tiny trailers.
This was hilarious watching you two bulls in this tiny China shop 😂
Totally - having a good giggle watching these two trying this trailer out.
These videos are very helpful, especially with inventory so light across the U.S. Appreciate the effort guys!
Saying three things you like and dislike is great. It shows you aren't trying to sell every trailer as a perfect trailer. Great video and funny to watch.
The bunkhouse storage is nice, but I couldn't live full time in this trailer.

Good point. Exaggerated features aka puffery, inflated claims, stretched truths, half-true, almost true, not quite.

I like how they used the space in this tailor.
Matt this is exactly what size a want. What other brands are competing with this size and features. Must need is the bunk beds.
LOL with Will! He's a great addition. I like it for a single person. But convert that bunk area to clothes etc. storage. I'm small and love the shower! 😊
It’s a good week long travel trailer. I wish there was an option to remove the extra beds area to something else.
I like the price but I wouldn’t fit in it. Really glad you have Will for the Big Man test. Thanks guys
Like the solid steps and under bunk storage. Dislike that there is no ladder and the msrp seems kind of high for such a basic entry level camper.
Looks just like my Wolfpup!
You guys were funny today. Great show

Woll, you are the anti Andrea. LOL! By the way, Matt, you know those Castle Rock tires are China bombs, don't you?
Good trailer. I think it's narrow and it makes towing it easier.
Thank you!
That looks good for the price which will be much lower than msrp 😉
this is so cute I think the manufacturer is missing a huge market by not making one more girly like with lighter colors

I still think 21 thousand even if you get a discount is too much for this trailer.
That's MSRP. Cut it in half for the actual trailer, then add 4-5k for the non-voluntary add ons+taxes.

Tried to pay cash at general rv not very nice and 3to4k in other fees added.
I've seen this trailer in person

I was thinking $10,000🤔
Whoa. Too small for my liking. Way too small. I agree. A Hobbitt sized camper.
What happen to your ladey friend? (Wife)
Bunk house style is a waste for me unless I can figure out how to use the dead, hard to access space.
Give me a class b sink in the BR or it's a no-go. So gross 😭😭😭
Basic trailer for families. Dislike no oven without convection/microwave. Bathroom is a plus. (I remember Grandparents trailer.... this is much better. )
The say in the teens 😆 more like 23,000 after fees should be taken off internet for lying.
