I’m glad I found it.. my only thing I don’t like seats with storage , the covers should of been poly coated.. so the board to splinter..
Hello, I like this size. Don't like the plastic toilet but not a deal breaker. Nice bathroom! When I finally get enough saved, I want a small tt. Great review Matt and Andrea!!👍👍❤❤
For being a small trailer it's not bad at all. It will provide a place to sleep, eat and go to the restroom, basic but good for beginners and a very good price. Just a neat travel trailer. Good review and I must say, Adrea you are doing a great job ya'll keep up the great job and stay safe.
This is the floor plan we want, do not apologize for it! Under the dinette I would put doors with Roll out drawers for all the food storage and pantry items. Love the island bed, the movable table,no TV is great! Phones have all we need. I could add lights but anther window above sink would help. The sink and refrigerator are good size! The microwave could be convection microwave. But with all the different kinds of toaster oven‘s and air fryers maybe someone would rather just pick their own appliance. Give them a shelf instead. ?
Stick and tin is heavier and more of an entry level tt. Also more of a 3 season camper. Fiberglass is higher end and lighter. You can camp almost all 4 seasons depending on if it has the heated inclosed underbelly. Also depends on how cold.
If I were on my own...I may consider this travel trailer. Just hook up and go! I love the way you and Andrea put your all into these and Class Bs! Have a great evening!
Great dry bath with a nice size shower. Could always replace the toilet with porcelain version, but allow for towing weight. We would choose to have the version with the Murphy bed. Nice starter trailer. Like the backsplash in the kitchen, but it needs to have convection microwave, and a window by the dinette.
Need convection micro. Should have a Murphy bed with couch. Would give more living room. And cabinets over the kitchen table. Not enough storage room inside I feel
A good starter unit. My 3's: Likes: 1. The bathroom! 2. Pass thru storage. 3. Kitchen layout and fridge size. Dislikes: 1. The dinette table is hokey. 2. The space over the bathroom door. 3. Manual trailer hitch. Thanks!
For such a small TR, it has a great bathroom. Since it is so small, instead of the booth seating, I would have liked a small couch, with the portable table turned the other way in front of it.
Great review! Great little trailer. This is the size/price point we will be looking for come next spring. Likes: 1. Walk around bed, 2. Refrigerator. 3. Huge bathroom. Dislikes. 1. Shower curtain. 2. Manual jack. 3. While I don’t mind the propane fridge, 12v would have been better.
Nice little trailer. Understand the price point. But you really need a place for the coffeemaker. Apart from that, everything else is doable. Great job guys.
Thanks guys for a great video❣️ I was hoping you would show us if both seating areas had storage. Dislikes: * I do not like the shower curtain * I wish it had a little more counter space * no natural light! Likes: * I like the bed space area * I like the size of the bathroom area * I like the storage areas that were shown
Hi Matt and Andrea, I hope you are to review and show a Lance travel trailer some day. It is made in south California and getting popular. People love them here in California.
Like the large bathroom and the bed with storage underneath. Dislike the bench storage of dinette. Does it really add that much weight to put in a pull out drawer?
Manufacturers need to smarten up. Lots of people are looking for a smaller RV to boondock in. A 13,500 BTU A/C unit rules a lot of these smaller units out because you can't run them off a 2,000 watt generator.
Wait. What? No “You can call. You can text. You can email. You can face time.” Andrea almost got it in there but Matt dropped the ball! They were definitely not on the same page today! Gotta love ‘em anyway! And the little trailer is okay. For a starter. 😎✌🏻🤙🏻🤘🏻😎
WOW! we sure like this small RV. It would be great for short trips or to have friends stay close by when visiting. likes 1. a real fridge 2. slide out 3. weight dislikes 1. dark color underneath awning 2. no privacy in bedroom 3. convection to replace missing stove and an 83.00 trash can :)
For a small trailer pretty good stuff, esp the shower, bed....but they NEED to put a door on the over head shelf above the bed...to keep things in place & look neat. Love the steps too!
I'm pleasantly surprised at this trailer. Good sized fridge, great bathroom, good bed position, nice dinette with storage. I wish they had a cabinet in the kitchen and should have an oven or, as you said, a convection microwave. I really enjoy all of your videos!
I see as an option one can get it with a Murphy bed/sofa AND a sofa. That would be my choice. Then I'd love everything but the lack of oven and cupboards in the kitchen. As is, I prefer this table to a pedestal and think the lighting is okay. TFS 😊
I immediately see a problem with the leash link since the plumbing stuff by it isn't actually covered up.... I have had a lot of dogs over the years who like to chew on stuff. It's something I'd definitely wanna address if I brought the dogs on a trip. . Totally with ya on the disappointment over that microwave not being a convection oven. If a unit's not gonna have a regular oven, but is gonna have a microwave, it should be a convection microwave.
A very refreshing style for RV reviews! Seems a perfect entry level rig to get started on, bathroom is amazing, fridge is large and a walk around bed are surprising features on a small unit such as this, wish you folks were in my hometown!
HI MATT AND ANDREA...SEEN ONE OF THESE..NICE!!❤1.LIGHT TO TOW 2.PRICE 3.FLOORPLAN AND SIZE FOR A COUPLE!😞1.TIRES 2.QUALITY??SHOWER?..SEEN ONE OF THESE..ITS NOT BAD!GREAT REVIEW!👍❤
They should have made it where you could do a Murphy bed so you have a couch also. Otherwise it's nice. Also, where do you put your groceries? No pantry??
Nice for a small unit. Definitely good for beginners or short trips. Nice it has a slide out and the bathroom is not bad at all. Would like to see a kitchen counter extension. I realize this is a small unit but a small pantry would be nice. And I agree with someone else that made the comment about a murphy bed so you could have another sitting area. Again, its nice 👌
I love this trailer. For its price point, its great. Here are my three: Likes: Amenities are amazing for size. Bed placement Bathroom size for changing Dislikes: Dinette No convection oven No Murphy bed
First thing I like it the leash hook up! Just me and my dog. So that’s awesome. And a Murphy bed or a fold out/ couch would have been great also. Loved it otherwise
This would have been great when it was Jaycee (my dog) & me. We use to go camping a lot. As she got older, it was harder on her. I like the size and price, the bed and storage Dislike the dinette; small sofa with side trays world be better. A small flip up kitchen extension would be handy since there is no counter space to speak of. Microwave is so small, to the point if not being useful.
Love it pretty sufficient, good price & not crammed, on the contrary I like the removable table which I can put elsewhere ie outside 👍btw the sound effect coming out of Matt's mouth is quite entertaining hahaha
Great little TT for couples. Would get it with theatre seats instead of a dinnete. Love the bathroom space. Matt could you show or say what kind of room there is when the slides are in on the TTs like you do in the RVs? Like to know if the fridge and or bathroom is accessible while traveling and stopping at rest stops.
I don't like the propane fridge. I prefer the 12V/110 compressor fridge. I don't like that the microwave isn't convection oven as well. I don't like the plastic toilet. I love the walk around bed, and the bathroom size. The size of the bathroom sink and shower. I also would have rather had theater seating, instead of the booth dinette.
Yeah, they offer a sofa option, but sadly not a theater seating option... then again, where ya gonna put the theater in this thing to begin with? There's really no good spot for a TV... But seriously, the theater seating with a folding table is much better than a dinette. Just setup a laptop or something for entertainment, since it's 2020 and anyone who can afford one of these can afford a laptop.
+ Nice price ( it's cheap, and a year or two used, even cheaper... like you can't buy a car that cheap ) + Good bathroom. Great bathroom. + Nice that it has a slide. - Absolutely order this with the murphy bed option. This gives you a couch that's in line with the TV mounting spot and behind it is a blank wall (underside of the bed) where you can put a mirror or art to make it more open. - The table is tragic. Just get the second sofa option instead. Yes, I know, two sofas. If appears to have a part that folds down behind it to act as a makeshift bunk or counter-top space. Just use a folding coffee table to eat at instead. Yes, these exist and collapse down into a nice 6-8 inch wide package - perfect to drop under the bed when not in use or put out of the way somewhere. - A convection microwave would allow for amazing pizzas! - I'd rather have two small outside storage areas and under the bed be separate than a pass through. Prep it for for batteries on one side and a generator on the other. Some people want inexpensive, others need it to be off-grid possible. Leave it up to them whether to say extra for this capability.
Matt, knowing that this has a Murphy Bed option, and a sofa slide option, I asked Clipper for some info and they just gave me the run around to multiple people, and then just shipped me off to dealers in another area who I am not comfortable with. My question to you is with those two options, how is the dry weight and hitch weight affected? This is all I asked to Coachmen Clipper people. SInce watching your video about the Clipper 17FQS I have been interested in it. I have 2 additional questions. Solar options? and Windshield options? Doable? Matt and Will, the Coachmen Clipper 17FQS layout is my dream travel trailer, I am from Philippines and deliver me your lowest sale price for said model of whatever year is okay for me as long as the model number layout is exactly the same, thank you, Manuel
Likes. pass thru storage is good considering the size of the camper bathroom is big for the size of the camper north/south bed Dislikes sewer connects are too low to the ground dinette table looks flimsy no pantry, food, or dishes storage
Things I like 1 the pet tether and it’s located near near the outdoor shower so you can easily wash or give your dog water.2 the sturdy steps. 3. The awning
Dislikes 1 no individual reading lights.2 kitchen doesn’t have a flip up counter near the door3 shower curtain. I prefer the nautilus doors.
A slide out in a trailer?!?!? COOL!!!
Thanks for the tour. My husband and I are considering a RV.
Really good-sized bathroom and medicine cabinet to boot.
You never talk about the usability if road mode!
Can you use the bathroom with the slide closed ?
Andrea two words star bucks
Love the large bathroom with separate shower, wish the trailer had more windows.
Three things I like.
1. The sturdy steps
2. The full rear bath
3. The walk around bed
Three things I don't like.
1. The HHHHUUUUGGGGEEEE refrigerator.
2. The slide out.
3. No linen or pantry cabinet
This guy cracks me up
That lighting issue is real...good point Andrea!!!

Hello, I like this size. Don't like the plastic toilet but not a deal breaker. Nice bathroom! When I finally get enough saved, I want a small tt. Great review Matt and Andrea!!👍👍❤❤
nice to see shower wall panels which most small campers do not have and a walk around bed.
You guys do a great job love watching you. Much better than some others reviewers 👍👍
Thank you ☺️
For being a small trailer it's not bad at all. It will provide a place to sleep, eat and go to the restroom, basic but good for beginners and a very good price. Just a neat travel trailer. Good review and I must say, Adrea you are doing a great job ya'll keep up the great job and stay safe.
Thank you chuck ☺️
Just the basics is all I really need, I travel to Port Aransas 2 times a year and want to camp on the beach in this baby!
Matt can you start talking about the difference between stick and tin and fiberglass RV's?
Stick and tin is heavier and more of an entry level tt. Also more of a 3 season camper. Fiberglass is higher end and lighter. You can camp almost all 4 seasons depending on if it has the heated inclosed underbelly. Also depends on how cold.
Not bad 👍😎 I think I want double axles. Need to find smallest trailer with 2 axles. Nice job guys 👍👍👍👍😎
Smaller trailers usually don't have the tip out's. Mostly because people are using them to dry dock. Kool.
If I were on my own...I may consider this travel trailer. Just hook up and go! I love the way you and Andrea put your all into these and Class Bs! Have a great evening!
And a full height back splash!
Gonna see you guys in May and get this model with the Murphy bed
When are you going to make the Matt's RV Reviews Cartoon? That would be fun! You can make everyone a cartoon character. Even your dog.

3 seasons
I like the priorities of this RV
Nice little trailer. Understand the price point. But you really need a place for the coffeemaker. Apart from that, everything else is doable. Great job guys.
Another little weekender
That's a pretty good size storage compartment for a smaller trailer
I like the refrigerator size, the sink size and the bathroom size.
I dislike the bed that's not a sofa, the wood covered refrigerator, and no TV.
10:26 Plastic, doesnt matter. look how relaxed you look and I am on the heavy side as well!
It is so cute
I really like how simple this trailer
Thanks guys for a great video❣️ I was hoping you would show us if both seating areas had storage.

exactly that if your vehicle can tow only 5000 pounds this is perfect!
Especially the TOILET LOL!

Nice but need massive 5th wheels.
Great design and layout!
What was the bag I saw in the bathroom cabinet
I was here for the first plastic Prime Pooping Position. 50 years from now everyone will say they were here...
Ha...most definitely! Up there with man on the moon....Pres Kennedy shot....9-11.....Prime poop position on a $15-17k trailer
Have a nice relaxing night.
nice exterior color scheme

What are they selling for used, now that it's 3 years later? My wife and I want to upgrade from our 22 year old popup some time next year.

Look again at the 13 second mark. The murphy bed/sofa is an optional build for it.

Good video
I like the trailer really good for a couple or a single person
The bed should be a Murphy bed with a sofa underneath to open up the daytime area for those rainy days.
thats an option according to the website
@@FatManWalking18 And the floor plan layout options shown in the video.
Kinda wish it was a couch/murphy bed
I think they did a great job for keeping it small and light. I couldn’t think of a single thing they could have done better!
Matt, knowing that this has a Murphy Bed option, and a sofa slide option, I asked Clipper for some info and they just gave me the run around to multiple people, and then just shipped me off to dealers in another area who I am not comfortable with.

No ladder for the roof
Our first travel trailer was the 2017 Coachman Clipper 17FQ. We didn't have the slide or power awning but This brings back a ton of memories!
I really love this little trailer. Great storage. Love the night stands
Love the size it's the same size as my keystone lol live the fridge and bathroom solar prep
Dislike: no oven
No tv
Single axle
Need window in the door
I can tow up to 3500lbs is this for me? (In the market for a small couples trailer) wish it came with 2 propanes
Can a Honda Pilot tow that. 4,000 pond tow capacity
That’s really really close.dont recommend it.i would go with a tt without a slide to keep the weight down.
Deja vu anyone? 👍G.
Matt and Will, the Coachmen Clipper 17FQS layout is my dream travel trailer, I am from Philippines and deliver me your lowest sale price for said model of whatever year is okay for me as long as the model number layout is exactly the same, thank you, Manuel
