I’d rather just buy a few of the filler X-men issues in 9.8 than waste time & possibly health meeting some shady character that sells X-men run issues on Craig’s list.

Not sure if you watched the whole thing, but I paid $250 for everything.
You still got a nice run of UXM books, though I get that 130 would have paid for all the other books. Have you priced what you did out? How close are you to breaking even?
I have not yet priced everything out, but I should be more than breaking even on this collection, even without the 130.
What you have there is still a pretty good deal. More fair to you than not. With he dazzler book you would just trying to rub them.

Man. Don’t be hard on yourself. I recently made a mistake in judgement on comics and paid for it. I felt stupid but the bottom line was the these people knew what they were doing and basically switched price stickers and bought them very cheap. She wanted to show them to her boyfriend who was in back of store and I trusted them. Was I stupid? Yes. But they were the ones who did a bad thing not me. I did learn a lesson although I forgot it the other day but these people were honest and I did not get bit. Most people are honest. But sometimes we just get taken advantage of. I am sure most folks have a similar story. Sorry it happened to you. Jess

I've gotten "lucky" with two collections in just as many weeks, which is not the norm. I don't know how I would handle my need for the thrill of the hunt in your area. :D

Not sure what the Man-Thing comic was that wasn't there along with the X-Men #130, but, you still made out with the books that were there.
Man-Thing 4 was the other book missing.

Yeah, they definitely pulled that X-Men 130. That comic is really hot right now. There are still a lot of great books though.
The book is definitely popular at the moment, but like you said, plenty of other great books, and many that will end up in my X-Men PC.
Guy shows up with a cooler saying he has some Rocket Raccoons and then he opens up the cooler and it is a bunch of dead raccoons!
Seriously, still some great pickups!

Hey you know, at least you got some good X-Men books here. Normally collections only have 180 and above. I hardly ever see under 150 these days unless they ask for good money. Lesson learned though, hate when people intentionally try to deceive someone like that.

What kind of shape is that x-men 133 in?
I need to look at it closer, but it was pretty nice. If I remember correctly, it looked to have some sort of substance on the cover, but looked like it would clean up nicely.
@@collectingcasually I have a 9.4 but I really need a 9.8 as X-Men 133 is ostensibly Wolverine 1.
I think I'd have to meet at a police station if there's one nearby. There are just too many shady characters out there. Stay safe.
That is definitely an option, but I'm not sure it would have made a difference either way since I accepted the deal.
@@collectingcasually It's not really the deal I was worried about. A young man in my town was trying to sell a scooter on Craigslist last year and was shot in the face...over an electric scooter. He even brought his father with him as an extra safety measure and it didn't matter.

I mean don't know what to tell you man. That was a rookie mistake. I mean if we're talking 24 books, that's nothing. Should have been easy to know what you needed to see when looking at the collection and realize anything that might be missing.
Absolutely. It was just that combination of flipping through upside down, backwards, double-bagged books, paired up with the wind, etc. Got me.
