Took prednisone for 9 days for bell's palsy, my period stopped completely, still fighting the horrible horrible side effects (water belly is the worst and also moon face) I'm 38, used to be an athlete and taking this drug was the worst thing I ever done and I wish I didn't. Should have dealt with bell's palsy in other ways. Any other way !
Been on prednisone twice for a month, both times I got my period while on the medication (bleeding was abnormal and short though). After stopping the medication however, my cycle was delayed 2 months. Hello Dr.Megan thank you for the valuable information. In my case I took Prednisone for a month as I was not having my smell and taste for 3 years and my Dr. Prescripted it for that purpose. I'm 42 and I want to have kids I also told him this too and he didn't told me that I can have some problem. First when I was using the medicine I got 2 periods in one month. Then next month only for 2-3 days and this time only for one day and that was more like a stain only. Now I'm so much worried I had a pregnancy test too but I'm not pregnant either. Please guide me I'll be very thank you to you please please please.
Prednisone is sometimes prescribed for people with infertility, so that shouldn't be a concern. It's unpredictable, and there's no definite way to tell you what to expect.
I took prednisone for 5 days and then the week after I was either spotting or having a really light period I’m around 2-3 days late and I’m still cramping but all my other usually symptoms I get before my period are gone was what I thought spotting actually my period I’m so confused please help me

My period is over a week late after taking 3days dose of 5mg prednisolone! I am definitely not pregnant 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂lol Thank you

hello Dr. Megan. Please let me know if it is safe to use 20 mg of Prednisone 3 times a day for nasal polyps . My pharmacist prescribed that for me
First I took prednisolone 5 mg now they reduced into 2.5 mg two months periods didn't came but paining is there

I did a dose of IV Solumedrol is that the same?
It's very similar and may have the same effect on your period.
