this video made me realize that the look ive been wanting to go towards is a quiff, NOT a pomp. Everytime i try to describe what i want, the hairdresser says alright lets get this pomp started! i always end up feeling so off with styling, which means I always go through way too much product to try and correct the look. I will 100% look for these products!

It's magical especially if you use hairspray. If you want it to be perfect add a tiny of Flagship Dead Sea Clay and mix it with the London clay. 2 parts London 1 part Flagship. Then layer 2-3 times each time with dime-penny size amounts(or slightly more).

Hi Robin. I'm new to the hairstyling game. I've watched a couple of your videos and really like the detail you have. Anyways, I was watching the video you had for pompadours, and you said not to use a matte cream but instead to use a pomade. Why is this different for the quiff? I'm not seeing a huge difference in the quiff vs. the pompadour so wondering your opinion. Thanks!

I think it’s really hard to ‘recommend’ products. Everyone’s hair is different and so what is good for one guy, does nothing for the next. I have a voluminous quiff and I find that mouse is nowhere near as effective as sea salt spray. That’s not to say that Robin is incorrect, but that’s kinda my point! Ehab Ibrahim I would say yes. Maybe go for something like a clay though. Smoothing serum as a prestyler may help as well
