@@martinvegas1327a little ?? Kudos to Dan for keep going without a flinch with that amount of dandruff… hate to be the next guy in the chair hope those scissors and comb get throughly cleaned
You just could hardly wipe the smile off his face! You could tell he absolutely loved it & felt really proud to have that particular cut by Dan. It wasn’t til you said it, but it was very “Tom Cruise” a bit younger. Tom’s hair’s a bit too long when I saw him with Prince William a few months ago on TV. He looks best with it really smart. So did this young man, James. It really suited him!! Great job Dan, Liam & Ethan. (I hope I’ve got that right) Love from Oregon State, USA ♥️ Jess 🇺🇸💕🇬🇧🏴🏴☘️
Absolutely ! Those fade cuts are ugly, and I haven’t yet seen a man who looks good with one, no matter how good looking he is ! The men think they look great tho. Toooo funny !
@@gingersnapsNdunkie I agree to some degree. Some people such as people with really curly hair can benefit from really short sides, but in general hair on the sides frames the face, so when men get fades it looks good from the sides but from the front it looks weirdly uncanny because humans are supposed to have sideburns but with fades there is no sideburns.
From the look of his haircut, I think that 80's style should be the norm for men; that is a beautiful haircut Dan! It looks amazing. The shaved on the sides haircuts, look like little boys haircuts; this looks really nice, a man's haircut! (from Sandi)
Remember Pierce Brosnan in Remington Steele? Love his hair .. Love the 80s men's hair styles, I remember when many men wanted to have George Micheal's early wavy hair look, then Morten from A-Ha, then the Spandau Ballet & Duran Duran... If wanna go for simple clean cut, just go for Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode
i.e. one way that I know that my clients love their cut...is when they look in the mirror, and they smile from ear to ear. That's my biggest compliment.
He looks great with that haircut. Very simple. I have lighter but exactly the same hair as he does. Believe it or not, they put a body wave in it when it is long, but with NO curl, if you encourage it maybe a very slight wave, before the cut. Really having the perm solution in it and huge rollers just makes it lay perfect THEN cut it. No product, no blow dry, just was and comb. This is not easy to admit but it stays completely controlled in place, and if I miss a day washing, it doesn't look greasy at all. It takes about 2 hours for them to put the orange rods in then take them out before neutralizing, but 2 hours saves SOOO much time daily for about a year. My secret revealed. I don't mind this tortuous feminizing process for two hours, because wash and comb is all I do and particularly love the way it never looks dirty. Greasy hair just looks horrible, I never have to deal with that. It doesn't take 2 hours, more like a little over one if you get somebody who is a good roller.
@@juliejanssen7637 Interesting. MOST hairdressers hate to perm hair and not have much visible difference, that's just is not what they are used to. Further I almost have to fight with them to drop the rods before neutralizing. They THINK it will completely undo what they have done, but it doesn't. This all contradicts what they've learned and doesn't make much sense to them, until they do it. On a daily basis it make a huge difference. See how the back is cut and lays nicely on his neck, mine would curl out without the wave. That slight wave will stay until it is cut off. It kind of eradicates the natural growth pattern and any cowlicks you might have, but not really much thicker or more wavy. It really doesn't noticeably dry out the hair, But hair like we have just looks dirty and greasy in one day, but not with the wave. Greasy hair looks disgusting to me. It is hard to tell them that you want a body wave but don't really want much wave if any. Getting a perm is no fun, but worth it in the end, you never have to mess with it at all for about a year. No gels, clays, powders, or blow-drying. I cannot imagine primping like that, everyday. This is care-free, just wash and comb.
The haircut reminds me of George Michael's hairstyle during his Wham (Last Christmas) era 1984-1986. Great Job, Dan. This should be the look ALL Men want.
The dos of the 70s and 80s had that timeless coolness about them. The very short fade styles popular today look good on some guys if they have a good jawline and are able to grow a beard, but on most of us it makes our heads and ears look massive
For God sake, all of you rude people talking about this lads dandruff. Dan being the professional that he is didn't even mention it , perhaps not to embarrass him. He may have given him a consultation for treatment off camera.
5:50 I feel they can be tricky terms like "balanced" "even" a style got into a full blown argument. One time a barber said like a combover but im not a balding 60 year old man. So I replied no more of a flattop. The look in his face total confusion I should of left but let him butcher my hair
Thot I was seeing bits of "dandruff" in this guy's hair as fingers going through hair towards the end. Wonder if scalp issues addressed, once camera turned off!
I'm getting 007 Pierce Bronson vibess with that cut! OR Jerry O Connell/ Quinn MAllory from Sliders tv show.... Either way love this cut for straight hair, it gives so much flexibility for styling😍. I'd call this from boy next door to Prince Charming
This guy looked good with wet hair while getting his hair cut. He looked good before, during and after the cut! Very attractive and masculine young man.
Would the following work as an alternative: same idea, but rather than the "flow" look, to have a set of layers progressively getting shorter around the back and sides? But not quite as drastic as the 90s "curtain".
I love watching your haircuts. You cut the same way I cut hair, but I really sometimes can't get past the heavy accent. I tell people, find a hairstylist that has a passion for what they do. Chances are they have a natural God given gift. Going to school for hair, doesn't make them good.
The best haircut I've ever had, I'd highly recommend anyone to apply! Thank you so much again Dan!
Handsome!! Seems like it would be hard to have anyone else ever cut your hair again after this.
Thanks for coming in, James! Glad you enjoyed it!
Was that a bit of Dandruff?
It suits you perfectly. Such a truly handsome guy you are. Dan's work is the best!

Tom cruise in his Cocktail/ Rain Man era 👍
So glad to see hair on men coming back. The too short fades can't leave soon enough for me. Nice haircut.

I like short hair but not into fades. They're vile.
Gorgeous cut! Good looking guy got even better looking! Well done, Dan. You are a true artist.
The textured sides, the subtle off-brown colour, the tasteful thickness of it...oh my god.
The tasteful thickness 😂

Let's see Paul Allen's haircut
Best I've seen on this channel, to many fades on side's previously, this looks way better

Nice!

works mostly for white boys and maybe some handsome indian dudes
Not every man has the right hair texture for this kind of cut. Mine is way too thick, for example.

It depends on the texture.
Yeah this dude has the perfect full hair for it. For thinning hair like mine, I have fewer options. But this suits him perfectly.
I love this style. I wish more guys wore their hair like this.
You’re the Bob Ross of hair cutting/styling love your art/videos!

Beautiful classic cut from the 80s...it suits him perfectly! Another incredible cut and style!
That's a really good looking young man with a great haircut. Good job mother nature and barber hair stylist!

Yes, I can see what you mean.
