I think the glove was only affected by what he was preparing in the moment. Shark, like most fish, is very delicate...and so, it doesn't handle well with abrasive surfaces, like that texture of that kevlar glove.
They could cook it by boiling it in water with certain type of leaf from a tree that taste sour. Killing the smell after 5 to 8 hours drop the meat on the grill. Oh boy that taste like steak! Oh and no oil.
