Wait, You got yours with dual channel RAM? That's unfair! 😂 I wish they all came like that. The price is actually really good considering that model is less than a year old. Great video. 👍

@AVLRECORDS That's flat out wrong. There's nothing "mid range" about the 3080, it's die size is bigger than the 2080, and packs twice as many transistors. What's more the whole concept of "mid range" don't really exists, it simply a term reviewers made up to talk about the card in the middle. Which the 3080 certainly isn't, given it's status as the flagship gpu..
@@RandomGaminginHD I got mine for £225 over a year ago, so IMHO even that price was inflated for a card thats over a year old. Current prices are ridiculous, so you did well to get it at that price in recent times.

Pre-builts are so fun, especially the older Ivy Bridge and Haswell ones. I got an older HP ProDesk with an i5-4570 in it for $80 a couple weeks back. Talk about architectures that have aged well - holy smokes. Pop a GT1030 in it, and you've got a rig that will play so many great games from about 2010 and earlier as well as some newer stuff that happens to be well-optimized or is just build to run on potatoes (like DOTA, LOL, Eve, Fortnite, etc). I sent it to a buddy so he could get back in to it, and it's humming along like a champ. If you're using a PC to complement a console, then there's really no reason to go big unless you're doing content creation.
It's very likely. I got big gains even when just browsing the net when I initially upgraded from 8 to 16 gig. I would consider 16GB the bare minimum for good performance today.
Its really frustrating how big the difference is between 8 and 16gb, yet prebuilts love to use 8gb. I think it'd be smarter to spend the little bit more and market the far better performance. But what do I know
they make propritary boards to achive two major things- 1.power supply rating (yes they only convert ac into 12 v Dc then board handles everything else) 2.the size can be cut down as they want and io ports make a big money too.

Looking forward to the laptop review. I have an HP pavilion gaming laptop that was the cheapest black Friday deal at two major retailers here in the states and it has served me well so far.

I managed to get a prebuilt pc from feirce PC for £850, with a RTX 3060Ti, I5 9400f, 16 gig of ram, has a bad motherboard but its not holding it back. This is my first gaming pc and I've made a few adjustments like adding a cooler master hyper 212 becuase the cpu was getting hot and adjusting the fan speeds to keep the gpu cool. This is a 12VO PSU. If you want to replace it with an adapted/custom 'normal' ATX PSU, it's very important you get a high-quality unit. Standard ATX PSU's are not meant to only provide 12V, so if they do their voltage stability and efficiency can suffer quite a lot.
Is that one of those board that just have the 12v PSU, That board is huge a looks like it does most of the Voltage regulation on the board. No 20+4 pin connectors?
Have a non-gaming Acer from 2017. When I added a video card had no issues replacing the stock power supply with a Corsair one. I wonder if there has ever been any market research done on the percentage of PC gamers who build their own systems versus prebuilts. I'm willing to bet that those who build their own are a vocal minority and the majority of PC gamers actually buy prebuilts, especially if you factor in laptops.
01:58 "This is such an early-2000's Dell thing to do" It seems it's still a late-2021's Dell thing to do, as Gamer Nexus can tell us about... :D That graphics card shroud, it is unnecessary, but could be a good idea for longer cards, to avoid sagging! I think it's there to act as a "heat separator" inside the case, although there's no way for the hot air from the graphics card to be ejected from the case...
I bought a pre built in a local PC shop last October for 560 usd the component are: CPU: Ryzen 7 PRO 1700x MOBO: Asus TUF B450M Pro Gaming RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb 3000Mhz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1660ti OC PSU: EVGA 700W BR 80+ Bronze Case: Keytech T850 Was this a good deal?
You can order a power supply adaptor if you want to change the supply. i ordered one when i was unsure if my Acer predators 500 watt unit could power the GTX970 i fitted, never got round to changing the power supply. Time overtook the PC in the end you could say. it finished its life doing standard desktop dutys.
Can you also look at second hand pre builds like a Dell studio xps or dell xps. And look at the new second hand prebuilds like dell gaming, msi nightblade of trident, or infinite, Hp omen,. and Lenovo.
You should be able to find an adapter for the power connector on eBay for that motherboard for a relatively low price. That LiteOn PSU looks ATX-sized so I'm sure you could upgrade it with, say, a Corsair CV-series PSU (which are on the smaller side and usually 80+ Bronze but available in higher wattages - my own PC has a CV650 in it) and an adapter for not huge investment. Older Dells have proprietary power supplies which are unconventionally shaped so, often, they're impossible to change out (particularly so on SFF and USFF builds), which makes upgrading difficult.
I just got this exact machine for about £575. Only other parts I bought were two 8gb sticks of RAM and a 2TB HDD. Mine comes with 512gb of SSD though. Super excited considering the price of GPUs right now. It arrives this Tuesday.

On paper the GTX 1660 super 6gb (Q4 2019) is about 2-3% slower than the GTX 1070 8gb (Q2 2016). 8gb ram along with the 256gb SSD is bare minimum. But at least they used dual channel ram with 2 extra slots for upgrade and a mechanical HDD for storage. Nice to see USB C port on the case. And whats with the black and wihite cable taped to the top under side of the case along with the nest of wires at the front of the case?
Well I got a similar new pre built pc for around 65000 Rs (~650£). i5 10400, 1660 Super and the same silly custom motherboard. My only concern with it only has 380W of power supply. It's going great till now but please suggest if I should upgrade that PSU?
G'day Random, A PC like this would be a great buy for parents on a lower budget that have kids doing home schooling & a bit of gaming, way better than a lot of the 'Gaming PCs' with a GT710 or integrated graphics for a similar price
what is standart of that PSU? I would like to add better GPU and better PSU(like 650W), but it is not event ATX12VO - there is just 6pin connector to motherboard (except of 4 + 4 pin for CPU)
That PSU might be using the new ATX12VO standard which would explain the weird motherboard, PSU connection, and 80+Gold rating. The 5V and 3.3V conversion is handled on the mobo itself hence the SATA power coming off of it
Love how this is better than the budget PC I built a few months ago, I mean ugh I never get good deals like this Edit: Upon a second look the processor is the only thing better than what I have but still, prices in Canada are way too high

I bought a Dell XPS 8700 pre-build back in 2014 for £699. Initial specs were: MB - Dell 0KWVT8 Z87 CPU - i7-4790 with crappy Intel stock cooler GPU - GTX 745 PSU - Some crappy 460W Dell thing RAM - 4x4GB DDR3 1600MHz Storage - 2TB HDD And yes, the case airflow was absolute crap!
That's a nice little system; I have noticed that prices for everything are higher than normal now... Also, I personally wouldn't mind single channel RAM because it means I can then quickly get another stick of the same RAM, doubling its capacity. My HP OMEN 15 being a classic example, it came with 1x 8GB so I immediately upgraded it to 2x 8GB (and then later 2x 16GB).
How do they have both a totally custom motherboard and case and yet the cables are still a mess. It's a perfect chance to put all the connectors in the perfect places.
i got £80 off a £200 phone because it was "refurbished" what that usually means is somone bought it, opened it, then changed their mind and returned it. :)
I never got pre-built PCs :D If I wanted a pre-built gaming system I would just go with a console... Building the PC is half the fun and if you want a good, well rounded system, you have to do as much or even more research with pre-built systems because you want the components to be well optimized with each other.
I went with NZXT for a pre-built pc I know my way around a pc but I'm not confident enough to build one from the ground up.I purchased the Streamer pc with an RTX 3070,I'm just waiting until it's built and shipped.
A Few days ago i got a Ryzen 5 2600 and a Vega 56 with 16GB RAM, it's definitely build for Performance, no RGB and the TT Supressor F31, Just 500€ and damn, it's so quiet, even under Load.
Great deal on the PC. No way you could have built it for that, the GPU & CPU would have nearly cost the same so for now at least it's a great deal. Thank you for sharing. 🥴
Hey, i'm buying an RTX 3070 in June, i'm almost 14 and like yea IDK. So, IK that you can use a Ryzen 5 2600 and a 550W PSU. But my question is, how good is it? SO i ask of you to make a video on testing that please, i really need the info! It's ok if you can't, thx anyyways!

Is a I5 10400 bad for a 3060 TI?
i got £80 off a £200 phone because it was "refurbished" what that usually means is somone bought it, opened it, then changed their mind and returned it.
I love how the GPU fan says dont touch
What is the best i5 10400f motherboard
Amazing deal you got there!
Here even rx 580 used has gotten up to 220£ and this is atrocious! With 1070 hovering around 260
I brought a version of this system for £10 seriously! After a bit of tuning and a ram upgrade I'm quite happy with it
I am also thinking of getting a GTX 1660 is it any good in 2020 and can it play Fortnite. I’m also not sure if it will work in my Fujitsu Celsius W410
The 1660 can easily handle Fortnite if you pair it with a good cpu 👍🏻
@@DutchMotoRider_ would a i7 2600 be alright as I’m on real low budget and can’t really afford a new CPU
I’m also upgrading from a pretty bad gt1030
@@oliwalter6090 the i7 2600 will be a good choice! Good luck building your pc m8
Is the PSU really proprietary? Looks like ATX12VO?!
Can it fit and run a rtx 3050
Hey, i'm buying an RTX 3070 in June, i'm almost 14 and like yea IDK.
So, IK that you can use a Ryzen 5 2600 and a 550W PSU.
But my question is, how good is it?
SO i ask of you to make a video on testing that please, i really need the info!
It's ok if you can't, thx anyyways!
