Well done Austin! I like how you explain things in a calm tone. Your are thorough yet not long winded. Great job. I have just started looking at this Acur and its nice.
Very nice vehicle and review. I have the 2021 tech in lunar silver with ebony interior. Not a big fan of the red seats or the red instrument controls on the A-spec, however, I do love the exterior styling and blacked out look. It's certainly subjective and that's just me. Love the car so far. Beautiful vehicle.
Idk if anyone’s mentioned this, but I think the radar tech is built in “deeper” into the car, not on the Acura logo. I thought Acura said the sensor on the Acura logo is more of an amplifier which then directs the information to the actual sensors found deeper into the car. And that they supposedly did this so that if you get into a small accident and hit the front, you don’t have to replace the entire sensor unit stuff, just the amp portion.
I would def take this over a $60k X3 or GLC ! Even if money were no object, I can’t justify a $20K+ price tag. I’d opt for Performance Red over Parchment with the Advanced Pkg 👍🏽. I’m sure that those adaptive dampers in that package make things more supple!
Great quality, decent but not "look back over your shoulder" great design, but it's the Super Handling AWD technology that sets it above BMW and AUDI.for distributive traction.
I’m surprised that you can see the fabric on the seat buckling, like it’s not stitched perfectly. At this class, the leather seats are usually flawless and precise.
Wow only 1,000 subs? I’ll sub, gotta support smaller car review channels 👍🏾 Acura needs to unify their control switches though. It’s like they have every form of input, in one control board. Trackpad, buttons, rotary knob, pull tabs, etc. It’s a bit overwhelming and gives the interior an unsophisticated look.
Make sure the key in not encased in aluminum (i.e. a case). That would create a Faraday cage and block the transmitter signal from reaching the cars' computer. Of course, also make sure the battery in the FOB is not dead. I realize this is an old post. Hopefully, I can help somebody else out. I'm sure you fixed it by now.
Great job. Much like the chick review that I watched before. She likes it too. She went a little farther then you. Darn, I didn't know you loved the steering wheel. I'm not part of everybody I guess. :-)
On another video, you pointed out a gap in the tailgate door. I checked my recently purchased 2021 and it has a gap (driver side). Did you take it to the dealership to get it fix?
My local dealership didn’t have an on-sight collision center so I just left it alone, but they told me I can get it adjusted whenever. I just have to schedule ahead. Warrantied for sure.
@@IAmTheKiaKing great to know. I'm wondering if this misalignment affects the functionality of the tailgate. So I noticed that at times the opening and closing works smoothly/quiet. And other times it seems to have a "clunk" hard closing. When I take it in for an oil change, I plan to check new vehicles on the lot to see if it's normal operation or a possible defective unit.
Was looking into buying one an 2018 or 2019 rdx but I heard the mpg is bad and alot of owners not getting the mpg claimed on sticker?? There is tons of forums about rdx mpg topic..been reading is a great vehicle and a joy to drive but very poor mpg.??
@@futbol1972 as far as city driving, that’s not the worse, but that sounds right for an SUV if you have a more lead foot. My k5 gets between 15-18mpg if I use a lead foot in the city
I wish I could choose dark seats instead of the red ones. I am not a fan of red seats since they remind me of communist dictators, such as Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Xi Jin Ping. 🤪

I appreciate your kind words! I’m humbled! I try to do my best! It’s a good ride👏🏼
Just purchased mine from there last week! Love it! Thanks for reviewing the car!
Same! Congratulations! Enjoy it!
How’s the gas mileage so far?

You are correct, the transmitter/receiver is mounted on the radiator support frame and is several inches behind the Acura shield.
Great review man! Just leased an X3 last year, but I’ll be looking into buying the RDX when my lease is up. Can’t beat being more reliable and cheaper
It’s a good option!
Pro trick: you can watch series on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Gavin Joel yea, I have been using Flixzone for since december myself :D
@Gavin Joel yup, have been using flixzone for since december myself :)
Roswell Georgia lol I live in conyers
So now I know where to buy my next TLX at
Great review
That’s awesome! Glad to see some local viewers! Get your Acura from them!

I bought an rdx a-spec SH-AWD a few months ago and I have zero regrets. Great suv for the money
wish rear wiper tucked underneath spoiler for clean look.. that's for any suv
I agree. It’s a trend that’s starting to make its way to more SUVs luckily.
Love this SUV. Does this have parking sensors.
Can you use regular fuel in this car I had a salesman tell me it could but I assume he was just trying to sell me the car

The downside of this beautiful car is its low mpg. Acura should work to improve that
I agree. I don’t have much of a lead foot in my RDX, and I average 15-16mpg

I never saw this until now! Thank you! And I agree!
What’s meaning when when my screen said keyless not detected?
Probably your key isn’t in the proximity of the sensor to start the car.

Nice review
Does it come with wireless phone charger?
Sadly it doesn’t and no option for one either
You and the car 😍
wireless apple car play?

What place is this called?
It’s at Jackson Acura! Link in the description

I haven’t heard that! That’s interesting. There’re so many variables that go into fuel economy though.
