I agree #3 seems to be best fit, sorta between #1 pricey and flashy and #2 felt walls were closing in even though it had a loft and pool area seemed dated, good luck!!
Seems like Courtney was more drawn to apt #3. And it's important to be able to live where you'll still be able to save money, after your monthly expenses.
One thing to consider safety. Uptown Dallas area is closer to downtown and incidents of theft, burglary and assault are rising. Before considering she must visit during different hours of day and nights. It is important to check out crime reports on google or realtors websites.
True they the crime rates are skyrocketing due to the Venezuelan gangs proliferating... the TDA gang is the most violent in the major cities of Texas!!😢
I liked option #3. It’s nice and roomy with the entire space being functional. Courtney seems so open to new things. I think she’ll be happy in whichever unit she chooses.
I vote for #3 - a lot of big windows and light, guest room and 2 huge closets. Cozy and nice built-ins, within budget and by the last shot of the segment, looks like it is in the heart of great shopping and restaurants.
So excited for you Courtney! If I had to chose I would go with #3 . It is bright, has a beautiful courtyard, the shops are close, the price is right, big enough for all your furniture, a bedroom for your mom and friends to visit and there’s a trolley 🚋 it has San Francisco vibes! Good luck beautiful Courtney it’s always wonderful to see and hear from you! 😊🤗
My vote is #3. And, PLEASE give us more fun videos. We love the weekly distraction (especially right now!) to help encourage each of us to be beautiful women inside & out.
@ It’s exactly your attitude & type of comment we need a break from. I don’t care who anyone voted for, we just need to get back to being kind & respectful to each other. I appreciate Dominique’s videos giving me a distraction from daily life to help focus on loving myself & others.
@@angelaaquino7368 my comment was in response to yours saying we need a distraction (especially right now) right now implies since the election results. So one would consider your comment a political negative comment which is why I said just stop. I was trying to stop the political path it seemed to be referencing. If it’s not then I apologize but hopefully you see how this can be mistaken about our new wonderful president.
We’ve all been through this very intense time in our lives that unfortunately brought out some “ugliness” on all sides. My comment meant nothing specific about politics or results. It’s too bad our written words are often misconstrued and we don’t first start out assuming the best in others. You are correct and I apologize for my comment and tone. I wish we would lift each other up but we seem so divided. My prayer is for peace among everyone again. God must see us all as little spoiled children. LOL. Have a blessed day.
My daughter moved to Dallas over a year ago. I would make safety the biggest concern. Unfortunately, Dallas is not very safe. My daughter and another colleague have had various issues-car even stolen out of garage so definitely consider safety for you and your vehicle. Wishing you much luck. All of these apartments were very nice!!
I loved the floor to ceiling windows in option 1, but the expensive rent is not the vibe.. definitely go for Option 3! It’s beautiful, spacious AND affordable 😻
I think option #3 is the best fit. Courtney you're young & want to have fun, going with option 3 gives you extra money as it's under budget to spend on entertainment & shopping. I can't wait to see what you pick. Good luck on your new journey.
These apartments are SO much nicer than the ones I lived in during my 20s! I'm so happy for Courtney and that the two of you are still together post-Merit. The duo is still together!
Hey, it’s Kimberly! First reaction keep looking 😂 just a couple of things that I noticed, and that is if you’re going to spend 95% of your time in the place, you might want to consider someplace that has a fireplace, for the winter time, and some ambience. Windows are a huge plus, not only for the light, but just so you can look outside and see the trees. Personally, I can’t have a kitchen without a window that looks to the outdoors. Consider that if the power goes out, and you have an elevator, it will be of no use if the power shuts down. Big stairs can also be a problem. Lots of light is something I look for, but someplace cozy and comforting in the interior. I hope you go look for some more places, because I think you’ll know it when you see it, and it’s the right thing. ❤ It was nice to see the streets of Dallas. My Mom worked downtown when I was a little tiny kid. They really made the streets attractive, and the trolley was such a cool touch 🚃
There's a lot of wasted space in that loft apartment not to mention all those stairs especially when you aren't feeling well. I've also noticed when you live in a two level whatever you need is always on the other level.
I live in Building 1! By far the best building I’ve lived in in Dallas over the past 5 years. 1000/10 recommend. It’s so clean, 24 hour concierge is a great feature, and super safe.
I live in Dallas, my husband and I lived in West Village when we first moved back to Dallas, we are still close. My daughter and her friends all lived in Uptown, some still do. Fun great place the only thing I would research is the management company. I'm not saying that any of the apartments you looked at have a bad management company, just know there was one that had squatters (8 people) that broke in by going thru a window? It took forever to remove them. It was a scary situation. Another one's elevator went out and it took them months to fix it. Finally the residents hung a sign out the windows saying something like "fix our elevator". I get my hair colored right across the street and it was actually funny as it was on a sheet and visible to everyone. It got fixed. The other thing, as a mother, I must tell you is parking. Make sure the parking lots are well lit. Some are not. While West Village is a great place to live just be safe.
Another Dallas resident here. I agree with you. Safety and management are key. Also, if she has a dog, look for an area very close by to walk the dog. Some apartments around where I work in uptown have a dog relief area on the roof or the amenities deck. Walking the dog at night would not be a problem with that.
Number 1 blew me away with the floor to ceiling windows and the amenities were off the chart. But, upon reflection, I think number 3 ticks all the boxes. The space itself with so much storage, the budget and the smell 😊. No. 3 gets my vote. Good luck! 💚
I think the neighborhood vibe is just as important as your apartment. It's like the tree where your nest is sitting! #3 welcomes you before you even get to the apartment with the cool shops, trolley, and the interior was more warm and inviting than the first two. Having lived in a one bedroom, I can say we hated it from the beginning because our guests had to sleep on a pull-out in the living room. An extra bedroom makes it feel more like a house than an apartment. I'd get a Murphy bed for the second bedroom, and make it an office most of the time. Separate your work and home spaces! Fun to tour all of them though!
Loved them all!! I agree that #3 is the best choice of these. Btw I loved how you put together this whole video; the tours, the maps, etc. You’re both so amazing💕
Loved apartment hunting with you ! I vote for #3 also . Budget ,closet space and ability to keep your furniture and have a guest room. Keep your financial options open so you can enjoy the area’s hospitality .
THEY ARE BACK! ❤️❤️ And now I feel whole again. This makes me Happy. And both of you look Happy. Can’t wait to see which one you will decide on, Courtney. Or perhaps you will find the ideal one and end up going with it. Either way, I know you will find it and you have the perfect consultant in Dominique to help you find it. I’m happy, Courtney’s Happy, Dominique’s Happy, and your community is Happy. Every decision you have made was the right one. And now, YOU’RE BACK and we are here for it all.
Excited for Courtney! I liked numbers 1 and 3 the best. Budget wise, number 3. Just my opinion for what it’s worth. So glad you’re doing this together. Two heads are better than one. Best wishes Courtney. Hope you find a place you love! 😊
I loved option #3 also! It was beautiful, it felt like home to me, it was a 2 bedroom, 2 full baths and 2 huge closets!! Felt spacious, lots of built-ins, full size washer and dryer, and that làundry bin in the bedroom linked to the laundry room!! Lay out was awesome and comfortable. And...the right price!! This was my favorite so far!! ❤️🙏🙏❤️
I love love the dynamic of y’all’s relationship it is so special, I would love to see more videos like this with both of y’all like vlog vibes. Sending love to both of y’all from Louisiana ❤
No 3 ❤😊 as there is a guest bedroom, lots of storage space and the whole flat is so cute and lovely. The neighbourhood looks friendly with all those small shops and trams passing by! After that comes the smaller flat in the first building. Amenities are amazing there and the flat is well furnished and cosy. I wish you all the best with choosing your nest!😊 Thank you for allowing us to be a part of it! It is such a great exprerience to see flats in that part of the world. Lots of love from Jelena, Belgrade, Serbia
So I have missed a minute or two of your channel and didn’t realize you had left Merit. I know how excited you were for this opportunity and lovely that Cortney took the same leap of faith. To me this is why you will both always be happy, open to walk through the doors and recognizing life is a journey! It doesn’t matter the reason, it takes courage to move away from something you chose with enthusiasm because while you may or may not have loved it, it is no longer serving you and so you approach the next door and walk through with optimism. Love it, and excited for the adventure that awaits you both❤️. All apartments are great which ever one she chooses will be the right choice because it will be hers and she will own it! Rock on Ladies🥰
My opinion is option number three. You said you'd love to have visitors, come and stay with you.The second bedroom will fit that just perfect. You have storage in each bedroom will help you, keep yourself organized. From what you said it will hold all of your furniture, so no sacrificing pieces that you love. You are there to live, love and enjoy friends and family. Having a view isn't always the most important thing. You will be able to get out, enjoy the community, and that is what are "views" are all about. I hope you have an easy transition. And I can't wait till february to see your new place. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So excited that the “Dynamic Duo” ❤️❤️is back (Not that you ever left us)!! Can’t wait to see which apartment Courtney picks (#3🥰), and what new adventures you two share with us next!
So excited for you both that you are back together! And Dominique, I have followed you from my years living in Houston. When you took the job with Merit St. and knowing what I know about them, I am so glad you stepped away because I was never sure that their values were the same as yours. You have taken the high road here and so proud of you for this decision!❤ Onward and upward as they say, in supporting and empowering women to live our best lives. You are both remarkable women.❤
Totally agree. After seeing that Madison Square Garden rally, my first thoughts were....how could she possibly work for him ? So happy you've stayed true to your values.
I vote for the view. Stuff is stuff. Downsize if needed. If she works from home, it needs to be her sanctuary. Choose the best, most luxurious place you can afford with the best view. You'll be glad in the end.😍 ~Carol Amato
I liked option 3… very cute and lots of storage. All I could think of with the 1st option was a creeper with binoculars, high electric bills and all those UVA/UVB rays.
Absolutely number 3 - In a word: CLOSETS!! but also: great layout, love the built-ins, amenities (gym!) a major plus -- but overall, number 3 "feels" like it can be a cozy "home" vs the other two... kinda feel like luxury hotels. Not that this is a forever space, but I feel like where you live, wherever in your journey, needs to be home ❤️🏡 Good luck on your selection and your successful continued endeavors 🙏
If I had to choose, I would move to number 1 today. So much light from the big windows! I LOVE it! Number 3 also pretty. Good luck Courtney with your new home ❤
Big windows are nice BUT the sunlight can be damaging to furniture and fabrics, not to mention....skin!! My sister put big windows in her main living area, and I was amazed at how the sun faded her upholstered furniture and carpet.
Wow!! All are so beautiful ❤ I love the last one due to the space and you have people that can visit. Also you don’t have to get rid of stuff. It’s all about thinking what place would make you feel at home 🏡 even like you say with all the bells and whistles, what space would you feel the most comfortable at. Good luck to you 🥰🌸
The one I would choose is the one bedroom...It is safe you can walk your dog at night there is a sense of community...and the apartment is layed out so it feels nice and spacious...and the price is right...
They are all so nice. I do like the 3rd one! It felt very cozy and lots of space. I know it’s so hard to choose, but go with your gut and where it feels right! Good luck! ❤
Don’t do a loft, all your heat in the winter will rise to the second floor and be too hot up there, and the downstairs will be freezing. I personally like the 3rd option !
Yep, you definitely don't need to be running up and down that flight of stairs every day. I never thought/felt that Merrit was going to work out. You've both made a good decision! 👍 lits of blessings 🙌.
number 3 ! the loft will be expensive with a/c bill. My son lived in one and his bill ran 500.00 a month there in Dallas. Its hot in Texas so unless you have light blocking curtains it will be HOT. Same with the first one too small and lots of windows to keep the a/c bill up. JMO. Good luck! They all were nice!
I lived in a condo for 3 months last year & found how hearing stomping from the unit above me was maddening. I heard dog steps, vacuums, blenders & conversations in all directions. It had me on edge about what noises I made in my own unit. All this to say, Unit #2 w the cement floors/walls would be invaluable to me for the sound proofing concrete. If I were deaf, The 3rd unit would be my pic. Good luck
All were so beautiful! Tough decision. However a concrete build is so important, so quiet compared to new builds. Also older blocks are usually built better, with quality work. Good luck! 🌷🍀
Thanks for taking us on this tour of these amazing apartments. I love two and three only because it’s two bedrooms. You definitely need a two bedroom. You look so happy Courtney. Glad you’re back to filming with Dominique. Can’t wait to see where your next place will be. 😘🌹
Why no prices? Living in SoCal I am very interested in the PRICE! I pay $2400 for a 1 bed 790' old building - I don't know what the big secret is? That being said the #3 was the clear winner! Best floor plan by far
That is a great price for the size. I just commented that that 2400 would be a 650 square foot with zero amenities in Toronto! I'd love to know the prices too!
Option 3 space, cozy , cute neighborhood and if the elevator doesn't work it is no problem. I admit, being Dutch, I like the cozy feel to a house. However, the most important is of course you feel "at home". Goodluck picking your new home base🍀🥰🖐🏻
I love option 3 Courtney would feel the warmth that the apartment has and also she would have a place for family and a wonderful place to put her furniture in and make a home 🫶🏻🫶🏻💕
# 3
Within her budget, she can keep all her furniture, still has a guest room.
Lots of storage & closet space!
I love # 3 ❤
I agree #3 seems to be best fit, sorta between #1 pricey and flashy and #2 felt walls were closing in even though it had a loft and pool area seemed dated, good luck!!
I like #3 ❤
I think #3 is very nice.❤
"3 it's noteworthy that she said it felt "happy"
As for a view, how much time does anyone spend looking at the view😊
Seems like Courtney was more drawn to apt #3. And it's important to be able to live where you'll still be able to save money, after your monthly expenses.

#3 Court! Like Dominique said, it has happy energy ---- not to mention, it checked all the boxes in the best way :)
All three option's are wonderful. I like option #3 for her needs. Wishing Courtney the best always! You two are so fun together!
Option 3 gets my vote!
Nice and bright, 2 bedrooms, great kitchen, bathrooms, closets and you can bring all your furniture!! ❤
I would select #3. I like the extra space, built-ins, second bedroom & bath, large closets…well everything about it. Best of luck, Courtney❣️
# 1 - 1 bedroom is so light bright. You don't get apartment for visitors, you get it for yourself, you are the one who pays for it.
I vote for #3. It was so perfect and the space was divided appropriately.
I live in Building 1! By far the best building I’ve lived in in Dallas over the past 5 years. 1000/10 recommend. It’s so clean, 24 hour concierge is a great feature, and super safe.
May I inquire what the rent is. I mean clearly I need to move from Toronto. All apartments were amazing!
Gorgeous place but the rental rate was $$$$$.
I live in Dallas, my husband and I lived in West Village when we first moved back to Dallas, we are still close. My daughter and her friends all lived in Uptown, some still do. Not that this is a forever space, but I feel like where you live, wherever in your journey, needs to be home ❤️🏡 Good luck on your selection and your successful continued endeavors 🙏
I love all 3!!! I do think #3 is the best choice for space & budget, but you really cannot go wrong!
So excited for more content from you both!❤
I like option 3 !Good luck, Courtney, in choosing your apartment!
Good luck to you 🥰🌸
I think #3 so far! Great pool, 2 bedroom with great storage and the neighbour hood looks so quaint
I love the first one, the views were amazing, floor to ceiling windows to look out, what a bonus, the pool was cool too, first one was my choice.
The one I would choose is the one bedroom...It is safe you can walk your dog at night there is a sense of community...and the apartment is layed out so it feels nice and spacious...and the price is right...
#3 was beautiful and seemed to meet all the criteria she wanted best. Go courtney!! You can't go wrong with any.
All the options are beautiful.
I chose option 3 . Lots of space and storage. Good luck . So fun to come along with you ladies .
Number 3 - the closet space, the furniture fits, and it looks more home cozy with a city feel.
#2 is the option I liked best for you! Loved the natural light and the open floor plan of the loft! Amazing kitchen!! ❤😊
You guys are so funny with your considerations on the closet space. In Europe we don't even know the concept😂
Hands down #1 I cannot get over the windows and the view!❤
I love you two together. Dynamic duo ❤️ option 3
They are all so nice. I do like the 3rd one! It felt very cozy and lots of space.
I know it’s so hard to choose, but go with your gut and where it feels right! Good luck! ❤
Definitely #3! Winner winner chicken dinner! And she'll still be able to keep most furniture!!
I’m so excited for you Courtney! I actually loved the first one with the floor to ceiling windows!
But the third one was just perfect!
Don’t do a loft, all your heat in the winter will rise to the second floor and be too hot up there, and the downstairs will be freezing. I personally like the 3rd option !
Oh I didn’t think of that. Good thought!
@ it happened to my friend, the downstairs was always FREEZING ! 🥶🥶🥶🥶
Yep, you definitely don't need to be running up and down that flight of stairs every day.
I never thought/felt that Merrit was going to work out. You've both made a good decision! 👍 lits of blessings 🙌.
Courtney #3:)
This new life chapter seems like the happiest perfect fit! New friends, new adventures!
Big blessings!!🙌
number 3 ! the loft will be expensive with a/c bill. My son lived in one and his bill ran 500.00 a month there in Dallas. Its hot in Texas so unless you have light blocking curtains it will be HOT. Same with the first one too small and lots of windows to keep the a/c bill up. JMO. Good luck! They all were nice!
Great point!
#3 Loved both your excitement for that unit❣So glad to see you together again, the love and joy is palpable🥰
I just love your relationship it’s really beautiful and special ❤
How exciting! Loved the second one...let's see what's in store. All the best!!
Keep that Courtney close! She makes every video she’s in better!!!
❤❤❤
Option #3 would be my choice.
😧 WHAT great choices! So much fun to watch. Totally miffed!
Good decision you both on a new path, and together 👍🏼❤️
If having a second bedroom is important to you, I think option 3 would be my pick ❤️
Thrilled to see you back
Why no prices? Living in SoCal I am very interested in the PRICE! I pay $2400 for a 1 bed 790' old building - I don't know what the big secret is? That being said the #3 was the clear winner! Best floor plan by far
That is a great price for the size. I just commented that that 2400 would be a 650 square foot with zero amenities in Toronto! I'd love to know the prices too!
#3 within the budget. There is a lot of space, 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, nice amenities. The smell & trolley are so cool!
Loved the first one with floor to ceiling windows!
I loved #1 those windows and all the light 😮 I’m all about light
Option 3 space, cozy , cute neighborhood and if the elevator doesn't work it is no problem. I admit, being Dutch, I like the cozy feel to a house.
However, the most important is of course you feel "at home". Goodluck picking your new home base🍀🥰🖐🏻
So fun! The loft was a cool vibe with the view and the spaciousness. Excited to see what you choose! Thanks for sharing.💝
I love option 3 Courtney would feel the warmth that the apartment has and also she would have a place for family and a wonderful place to put her furniture in and make a home 🫶🏻🫶🏻💕
No 1 hands down ,,,great vibes . Happy space!...good luck ❤️
Why does this video make me feel like I’m putting my four bedroom house in New York on the market and moving to Dallas?
#3 all the way! Lots of light, figures and details are more luxury/warm - feels like a home.
Loved 3! The floor to ceiling windows can get VERY hot even when insulated. You will make the right decision for you and be happy. Good luck❤
Yes and unless they have complete blinds at night, no , I'd never be comfortable.
I love #3, Courtney. Be safe in which ever you choose. I hope you will share more videos once you're settled in.
