You are beautiful but to me nothing is prettier than natural look. I used to wear makeup whenever I just stepped out the door, two years ago I started microneedling, that little device changed my skin in a way that I am not wearing makeup any longer. I have tried almost everything to look younger, anything from face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements, retin A etc. However, nothing made any real difference compared to the high-quality derma pen I purchased for under 100 bucks. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. I don't look like I'm in my 20s again, but definitely not 61 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less prominent. People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin.

+1 for kora beauticaIs. I've been doing microneedling since it started 12 or so years ago. Nobody believe I am 55. They all say I am in my 30's or early 40's. As you know, as we get old, our skin gets thinner therefore creating wrinkles. But the wounding kept my skin still thick and youthful. Your comment will help so many women to restore their skin..

My whole life I have been doing my eye makeup exactly like your not as great side and it's been frustrating me even more every single day. I am in the early 30s and due to a little weight gain and genetics, my eyebrows/eyelids seem to have puffed up and drooped so much more that I basically don't have an outer corner. So very refreshing watching this channel. A woman who is not secretive about all she has learned about beauty and fashion and instead willing to help other women with her expert information. Just me alone she has helped so very much in so many areas of beauty. The good she is doing is immeasurable and I hope the good comes back right at her because she is truly one of a kind. Amazing lady and I wish for more of her but doubt there are many women out there with such confidence. God ble4ss you and thank you Dominique for all your inspiration and knowledge.

I've learned so much from you as a recent follower. I'm facing my 70th birthday this August so losing weight, etc. The photo shown is almost exactly a year old and my natural curly/frizzy hair was just blown out. No blonde highlights for 4 years so now my hair is white and light gray. I love it. What I want you to know is how grateful I am to you for how you've taught me about concealer! I have NEVER used it and didn't realize what it would do for my under eye area. Wow! And thank you for the mention of products. So so helpful.

Honestly, the people saying they like the “wrong side”, it’s not that it’s truly bad. It’s just not meant for older faces. That’s how I learned to do my makeup in my twenties and now that I’m 32 I realize I hated how I looked with makeup and have stopped wearing it. This video made me realize it’s because my face is slowly starting to age and I have to use different techniques. The right side may not look that bad but in comparison, the left looks more youthful and less crusty. I have been looking for tips to do makeup now that I’m getting older and I absolutely loved this video because I started to hate that I looked older with makeup. I’ve seen some of y’all with the right side makeup and I’m telling you, it doesn’t look as great as you think. I was laughing watching this video because I was thinking “omg that’s how I do mine!” (The wrong side) and it helped me understand my facial structure better. The only thing I didn’t like was that she put concealer right under her eye. I found another technique that works better. But it looked fine on her.

Agree, I look at photos of me at weddings etc from 10+ years ago and my makeup was terrible! I didn't use it a lot and only used light products for work on a day to day. I really enjoy makeup now and started watching tutorials about 4+ years ago and am addicted to great tutorials, esp vlogs from mature plus women. I've bought a lot of new makeup (foundations of all sorts, eye palettes, concealers, primers, quality brushes etc) and have my go to for a few looks e.g. light and no makeup makeup days, a little something but still fresh looking, a medium soft glam look for a dinner out or birthday BBQ/party with friends and a something special look for weddings and special glam nights out. So much fun. Only thing I'd do differently to Dominique is because I have blondish lashes, I do a very light coat of mascara on my bottom lashes with a mascara that is quite 'wet' so it coats ever so thinly. It's practice and at 32 and with the info out there on YT and the amount of different coverage looks you may be after, its a plethora of good stuff out there. Know your skin tone (pink, golden etc) and type (dry, oily etc). Do enjoy! And do splurge on yourself!

I switched my eyeshadow placement, feathered up my brows, ditched the under-eye eyeliner for a light shadow in the lower lashes, and moved and angled my contour and blush up this morning. The high blush above the contour and avoidance of intense light eyeshadow on the lids are two mainstays for me. I never would have thought to put the darker color on my lid until you have shown the contrast. Thank you!

Loved this video. I used your techniques yesterday and today. I loved the look. I've been fighting those short eyebrows since forever. I'm soon to be 69 years old, I can use all the help I can get from your tips. Thanks so much!

Hi, Dominique! I’ve been doing so many of the “don’ts” for YEARS! At the age of (almost) 67, I can’t wait to ditch my old makeup, treat myself to many of the products you recommend, and follow your tutorials for a younger-looking ME! Thank you for such a well done lesson! 🤗

Oh my word! I can’t!! I have been doing my makeup “the wrong way” everyday!! All I knew to do since the 80s!! I can’t wait to redo it! Love this video so much! Thank you!

This made me chuckle! We are all right there with you, sister! My only saving grace is I've been teleworking for 20 years, and don't have to wear makeup unless I'm going out (pre-2020 lol!).

Both Sides Look beautiful on You. But You are right. The right Side creates a Younger Look 😯... I am 47 now and I am thankful for your tutorials

🤦‍♀️ Well, I've been doing makeup wrong for decades. I ABSOLUTELY see how your right side is lifting. I was the classic left eye with liner underneath. Thanks SO MUCH!!
