Brilliant mate, brilliant,I'm 63 in October, and had never played an accordion in my life, until I attended accordion lessons for 10 weeks, and then another 4 weeks after a two month break, Which finished 2 days ago, one of the biggest problems for me is coordination, I know what to do but my hands wouldn't let me, but 14 weeks later I can play, lightly row, and am not far off learning Danny boy, with the 4\4 using counter base, ,and also the 3\4 waltz beat with counter base, and I'm gradually getting the timing right, all of this was double Dutch to me 14 lessons ago, even something as simple as, merrily we roll along,or Polly out the kettle on the keyboard means nothing till it's played in time to the right base notes, and at the right speed, but I'm definitely getting there,I just need to relax, and slow down a bit instead going fast and losing the fingering on both sides, just desperately trying to keep hold of the tune, but know I'm definitely getting the coordination, and timing coming together, and will persevere, and hopefully one day, possibly an occasion, new year, etc, I'd love to pick up the accordion, without any of my mates knowing I can play it,and start playing a tune with all the right base notes, 7ths, diminished etc haha, like I said mate I've seen a few of yous videos and you're brilliant.
My favorite video from you. You and Weird Al have inspired me to play accordion and honestly it's fun I've had my accordion for 2 years (almost 3) I got it in 2021 I haven't stop playing since
Great songs! The accordion has this ability to put so much of something’s mood into a song and I love it! Speaking of sea shanties though, have you heard of/considered playing “shores of Botany Bay”? It’s a good one. Happy Halloween!
I saw your name and thought it said "Ligonier" at the end, which is a city I live nearby so I got excited. My grandparents are Legionnaires though, so that works too
So much epicness coming from one instrument, with this Folk/ Shanty thing going on I'd love it if you would do a cover on the Accordion of Joli Rouge by The Dreadnoughts?
Please Jackson learn some of the the lyrics to Bound for South Australia,. Next accordion stream (if I'm awake for it) ill request it and pay you 20 Australian dollarydoos
Hey Jackson, I've been a big fan of your music for a while now. I was wondering if there was anywhere we could listen to your tracks more freely like Spotify/Bandcamp/SoundCloud. I saw you have an album on Spotify but you have so much more available on UA-cam that I'd like to listen to without the whole video aspect.

I’ll see you on December 29th of this year, Jackson, I swear. I am ready to debate “sea shanty” definitions.
The Paintsville Wendy's closes at 1 AM, but the McDondalds down the street opens at 5 AM. Plan your meals accordingly ;)
Funny enough that day is my Birthday ^^
It is December 29th. XD
