Jackson I remember making you play Barrett's Privateers on stream maybe a year ago, and you remarking you'd never heard it. I'm thrilled to see that it made it on your list of sea shanties! Keep that quality content coming my man!

Brilliant mate, brilliant,I'm 63 in October, and had never played an accordion in my life, until I attended accordion lessons for 10 weeks, and then another 4 weeks after a two month break, Which finished 2 days ago, one of the biggest problems for me is coordination, I know what to do but my hands wouldn't let me, but 14 weeks later I can play, lightly row, and am not far off learning Danny boy, with the 4\4 using counter base, ,and also the 3\4 waltz beat with counter base, and I'm gradually getting the timing right, all of this was double Dutch to me 14 lessons ago, even something as simple as, merrily we roll along,or Polly out the kettle on the keyboard means nothing till it's played in time to the right base notes, and at the right speed, but I'm definitely getting there,I just need to relax, and slow down a bit instead going fast and losing the fingering on both sides, just desperately trying to keep hold of the tune, but know I'm definitely getting the coordination, and timing coming together, and will persevere, and hopefully one day, possibly an occasion, new year, etc, I'd love to pick up the accordion, without any of my mates knowing I can play it,and start playing a tune with all the right base notes, 7ths, diminished etc haha, like I said mate I've seen a few of yous videos and you're brilliant.
