Man this brings me back to my childhood. My grandfather was a boogie woogie blues grass man. I would go spend Summers with him in Georgia as a kid, I remember getting woke up in the backseat in the middle of the night to a stage in the middle of a field with hundreds of people gathering around and my grandfather on the piano singing and playing music and everyone was mesmerized like me. I miss him so much. Thank y'all for the memories 😢
Yeah, I'm also afraid that too few have an idea of how genious this is. Most people don't really understand music - the beat, the arrangement/patterns, the 1-2-3-4 etc. But as long as music makes them happy and moving/dancing it's OK.
Simple answer is they dont like piano and or boogie woogie. Its not hard to work out. It could also be as simple as they are in a rush to catch a train given the location happens to be a very busy station. As good as they are i wouldnt miss a train for them and the truth be told nor would anyone else.

I worked for Bernie Taupin in West Hollywood one time years ago and I wanted to tell him how great he was but my boss forbid it because he said it was not the thing to do while at work.
I have been following Dr. K for about a year now. When Ladyva and Dr. K crossed paths and began performing their duos, the skies cleared, and sunshine has been appearing intermittently ever since because these two great Boogie Woogie greats teamed up. Absolutely sterling performance!!
Dr. K is the g.o.a.t. and undefeated, until this powerhouse of a woman sat down and tickled dem ivory’s. A declare a draw and hope to see this duo live some day. Added to my bucket list! Phenomenal performance bravo!!! Encore !!!!!

At the time he wasn't being Anti CCP. Dr K just wanted to play his music. When representatives from the CCP tried to stop him he just insisted on exercising his free rights. They then made fools of themselves and their country.

During the 80's in my young man days in a great church full of young people, we had three people who played the piano. Two ladies who played the pretty stuff wonderfully. And then sometimes we would want to get excited and jump around and all that, and they had me play like a rocker. Pounding out octaves for rhythm. Even though I would have loved being able to learn this I never played anything close.

Different genres have entirely different energies and rhythms, for you to put down other times is not very enligthened. Hipfop for example has power, a tribal force music like this could never come close to, but music like this is far more energetic and upbeat its for a totally different type of situation.

We're from New Orleans, but he studied under award winning.Georgian conductor Nodar Gabunia at Loyola, late of the Moscow Conservatoire. Prospective students are on a waiting list (not just for his talent but the fact that he charges on a sliding scale, as money should never preclude music opportunity). Utterly wonderful - two real masters give Boogie fans the treat of a lifetime - I was feeling a bit low, and turned to UA-cam to cheer me up. Found this - got the cheer that I needed - thanks DrK and Ladyva. The passers by must have enjoyed this. The synergy between these two is quite incredible.

Prospective students are on a waiting list (not just for his talent but the fact that he charges on a sliding scale, as money should never preclude music opportunity).
