I experienced this feeling in March 2023. Humbling is an understatement.

Stevens mind melting solo at the end really takes this song to another level. I can’t get enough of this version!

agreed - so moving I usually have to skip over it when listening to TSB. It's way too powerful for me

Still quite possibly the most beautiful song ever.

I know, right? I have tickets to both their CA shows in January... but I'm guessing those shows will probably get pushed back yet again 😕

This is just the beginning of a long drawn out sequence of the crumbling of human kind to our knees. We arose out of the dust to step one foot forward, then another, and then again quicker than before again and again until we stumbled and now in slow motion we crash into the ground and disintegrate back into dust again.

A more than holy experience. I wasn't actually there, but, I feel like I was.
The crowed at the end makes me want to hear In the Morning of the Magicians.

Love in our life is just too valuable
Oh, to feel for even a second without it
But life without death is just impossible
Oh, to realize something is ending within us
    Feeling yourself disintegrate

They are awesome... some songs spiritualize..so much.
I love it always but especially if I'm there...
I understand this song... never changing and keep seeking the void..
And shit... I'm not going to worry about that.
America is on the verge of getting nuked.
I'm not going to feel so bad about drinking too much and listening to music that I love.
For all I know... the next falling star might be a nuke ☠️

the massive loudness? all their albums are like that. The mixing engineer crushes it to death. I wish he didn't. Actually the DVD-A's of Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi are not like this, they're the exception

The police are not a problem for decent people. Sometimes we all need the police. Without the police, the world would be just chaos and violence. I believe that's how Wayne Coyne feels, too
