Paddy, when you are in BKK we must have a serious talk about coffee and I will take you around to a few spots. That drip coffee looked amazing, northern Thai coffee is some of my favorite. and 150 isn't a bad price at all considering how much you got there. The guy who took a pic with you and dreamy was hilarious, and that river crossing spot was sketch but fun. lol
I'd love to see that. See if you can rope in Chris on this meet-up too. Should be a lot of fun for all the fans.

Can you please elaborate a bit more about awesome BKK coffee places? Highly intrested.
Doi Chang best coffee in Thailand. The reason your coffee was light in colors is because it was a very light roasted coffee to bring out all the natural flavors. But to say not only apple flavors, but red apple flavors. Really 5555 I am a coffee snob. Guess I am a coffee aficionado. My alias is the The Coffee Review Guy. Guess this as good as it get for coffee video from you Paddy. 5555 Can you believe the glamping sold out til Feb. What is it going to be like next year. Paddy we need to hang out someday in Doi Chang and drink coffee. I will give you a coffee cupping lesson. 555

Was in Chiang Rai and Mai first time we went to Thailand in 2005. Will be heading there again in March 2022. Can't wait.Back to the north for the Provences, scenery, people and the food
Thank you very much for making many people know Chiang Rai better, but in Chiang Rai it's not just the best coffee or tea, but Chiang Rai has a variety of arts, culture and lifestyle. Thailand is not only Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket or Samui, but Thailand also has many tourist attractions.
Regular coffee is transported, dried, longer and roasted to black color. Youre getting it fresher, lightly roasted. Remember coffee is a red berry fruit. We make it into a black "bean".
My wife loves the coffee from Doi Chang, we order it from Lazada, have 2 packets in the cupboard now actually.
That Lambo has nothing on Dreamy when it comes to river crossings!

Chiang Rai province looks absolutely stunning Paddy, thanks for sharing. I might be wrong, but I think the correct way to drink coffee is with 'warm' water to appreciate the flavour of the beans. Coffee should not be made with fully boiled water as it ruins the taste of the bean...But I'm probably totally wrong lol, just something I'd heard many years ago. Love the party boat on the reservoir...experienced that with my Thai family and friends at Ubon Ratana Dam near Khon Kaen...you take your own drink and food (to barbcue) and the owner provides the boat captain and the Karaoke...great fun 😁😁😉😎
If you can afford to buy a Lamborghini supercar in Thailand , It means you can actually buy three Lamborghini supercars which are the same spec back in UK. God sake for the 300% import tax of Thailand
And that's just the start of it, because numbers are limited they are often willing to pay a premium on top of the 300% to avoid a massive waiting list!

When you were in Loei Province you were at a park (Hin Pha Ngam) and quickly left saying, "not very interesting". Unfortunately, had you walked a few feet further you would have been on the path to a fantastic nature trail. A big miss. I'm now exploring Thailand on my Kawasaki W-175

Went to Doi Chang last week. Sad to see that a lot of empty spaces along the roads I saw in this video have been converted to fancy restuarants, cafes and homestays. It's still very beautiful.

I am sure I told you before but I hade a lot to do with doi Chang when it was getting started.I helped in the restoration of a 100 year old roaster made by the German company GW Barth. If you went into the factory you would see i it in red paint. The founder my friend Kuhn Wicha died from a heart attack in the plantation on Doi Chang.

I did this ride from Chiang Rai on my bicycle in 2018. Impressed? But you missed the top of Doi Chaang lookout.
Cafe bolan mai waan is my favourite type of coffee in Thailand. Bolan means old style/classic, mai waan is not sweet. Jen/lan is iced/warm.
If you try them in a market, you’ll find it as good as it gets. But your right, coffee and a lot of other stuff from Seven is really good, their microwave food is really priceworthy .
