#PaddyDoyle #Thailand #uttaradit
My wife is from Uttaradit. We go there often to visit her mom and relatives. It's a quiet and lovely community. We plan to move there when I retire. We had our wedding ceremony at the Uttaradit University Hall in 2019. I reccomend going to and eating at By the River. You showed some nice things, but there is still so much that you missed. Thanks for showcasing Uttaradit!!!
Snap my mrs is from uttaradit province it’s very picturesque esp toward the lao border
Uttaradit Province is known for the hero "Phraya Phichai Dap Hak". The hero with the broken sword helped Taksin push the Burmese back during their many wars. Also, you missed going to the Durian museum in LapLae. You basically only went around the areas around the Queen Sirikit dam and missed what Uttaradit truly is. You really need to spend more than one day in a province to get the real feel.
Could you tell me where i can find the Durian Museum? Thanks
My mrs won’t let me go to laplae apparently it’s haunted and I will be possessed with an evil spirit 🤣🤷♂️
This province it would be wonderful to have a kayak. All of those little islands looked very inviting. Thanks mate! Now that was a slice of real Thailand!
My pleasure John 😙
@@PaddyDoyle. I honest cant believe how wonderful thailand is ! WHO IN RIGHT MIND WOULD emigrate TO Hawaii OR Seychelles ? mind boggles lets play VISA dodge haha and eat crap food 100 baht
Thank you Paddy for the amazing video and welcome to Uttaradit province. I feel so excited seeing the video about my hometown Uttaradit. I never thought any foreigner would make a video about this city cuz it's a small city, not a well-known tourist attraction.
My pleasure 🥰
Welcome to Uttaradit. I'm Uttaradit and there are many beautiful places to recommend in Uttaradit. I'm so glad you came here. And I hope you will come back to Uttaradit again.☺️😁
Thanks for a lovely scenery from the lake. It looks so calm and peaceful.
The north just gets better & better ❤️ simply beautiful
Never heard of it until I visited family who live in Uttaradit. Very rural Thailand. Thanks for the video, keep them coming. Love seeing the different parts of Thailand.
Even Thai people also give nickname to Uttaradit province as muaeng Lab-Lae (mean unseen city) since the old time.
คนจังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ยินดีต้อนรับ ขอบคุณที่แวะมาเที่ยวบ้านเราครับ
Sleeeeeepy little villages are my jam. The simplicity is amazing.
That's a fair point
Thank You Paddy. Great footage and an amazing experience. Love that song Pandemonium by Hanna Stone.👍😎
Wow .. Absolutely Devine . Just looks so relaxing and unknown would suit me it would be wonderful to be there and relax and truly explore the beautiful country side and bay . Thanks again for bringing us there with you . Next Level is No 1
Ah thanks Paul 🥰
I’ve never heard of this place before…the lake looks beautiful & peaceful! Thanks for sharing another wonderful video Paddy! Stay safe and be well:)
Beautiful view at the park and camping site. Keep exploring. Following you on your journey.
I quite enjoyed this episode, i could feel you are getting back "into the groove" of travelling - I love your madness,
its so incredibly beautiful.
I lived in Thailand for more than 20 years but you always manage to show me corners I never even heard of. Thank you.
What a wonderful trip. Always enjoying spending time with you on your channel. Thank you for not wasting my time. : )
FYI, Most hotels prices in Thailand are normally cheaper once you booked and pay online. That's why your room in google said 380, but when walk in you had to pay a little bit more. It's quite common actually.
heap, maybe just try noting their number, go down the road and book online via mobile and then go back...lol, worth a try at least.....;) depends if its worth 120 bath to you Paddy (that's at least dinner and a drink)
If your still traveling in Thailand, checkout the national parks just east of Nakhon Thai....a lot of historical information and beautiful views
Started watching you because of your Irish name so really enjoyed you putting on the Irish accent and of course your high pitched put on voice ! I'm having to slowly work through all your older blogs which I'm really enjoying. Adore Thais and Thailand but sadly have only been there twice. From a very much older South African viewer keep up the wonderful work and don't allow anxiety or bad vibes to gain the upper hand.
yeah especially when he talks to the kritters... I tend to do that too, I always say Hi to the furries...
Enjoy the video expecially the drone view and with the nice music background. Tq Paddy. Have fun and continue to explore the road less travelled.🙏
.

Wow. Stunning place 🇹🇭👍🏼🇹🇭
The lake looks so peaceful a great place to go to get away for a bit and relax the drone shots truly show how beautiful the Province is Pandemonium is perfect for the footage and it has become one of my favorite songs I listen to often on YT. Thanks Paddy for the opportunity to explore Thailand I plan to visit it one day soon.
My pleasure Virginia ❤️
I'm Uttaradit and I'm glad you came to my province.
We love you and your videos! Keep up the great work. Thailand has Sprite!! That's all I need.
Thanks for promoting Northern Thailand to the world.
Any time!
Your drone shots were great, I loved the colours and clouds and water. Was I because you filmed later in the day?
Good afternoon Paddy, Your videos are better than anything you can watch on Tv. You always take us along to beautiful places. And constantly make me smile and laugh. Thank you. Beautiful drone footage. Love pandemonium. That is definitely your tune. Great video as always, Paddy. Have a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful province
This episode left an impression of spaciousness and untainted wilderness.
Dreamy got her share of off-road biking again didn't she :-)
Uttaradit has some lovely temples (Wat Don Sak)
My wife is from here from Ban Na Klam.
There’s not a lot of foreigners passing through so myself and my kids are always a picture of interest.
Keep well Paddy! Thanks for taking along for the ride.
Great 👍 update thanks
My wife is from uttaradit also. lived there for 2 years. I had a rough time at first, but i ended up loving the community. it's quite and peaceful. There is a lot more to the city. You have to have a open and go out and explore.
Greet to have you here in my hometown 👏🏻
I’m from Uttaradit, but I moved to England in 1999 I will move back to uttaradit soon I love Uttaradit Thailnd
Wow beautiful, I am Thai. I never been in Uttaradit Province. It looks quiet. So far from Bkk.
Finding a new place is a good choice for traveler who would like to get a new experience.
Watching this made me miss Uttaradit very much.
This province is kinda chill-type because it's a gateway to the north of Thailand. Also the people are chill and friendly, not too slow and not too quick for living their life.
Loved it ! brought me some sweet nice memories 🍎
Nice video with lovely scenes. Enjoyed it, watching from Trinidad
Thank you so much for your video.
It's great for new to see places that tourists doesn't visit.
I'm Thai but been living here in the US for over 55 years and I love seeing your videos.
Keep it up and stay safe Paddy!!😊
Wow. Wonderful video. Really unseen Uttraradit for me even I am Thai. Your video production is really nice and very professional presentation. Keep up with your splendid videos.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful drone images!!! Looks 'NEXT LEVEL'!
It never ceases to amaze me living here in Thailand for the last 17 yrs. THE DAM IS CLOSED BECAUCE OF COVID - Ha ha ha - amazing Thailand and Lazy security guards - how can there be covid at an open air dam ! If it was a market OK
Most dam in thailand are under control of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and I found all of the dam under their control are closed. This state agency is just ridiculous
Cheers Paddy Safe travels.
Thanks again for some insights into real rural Thailand! Complete with Pandemonium!
my pleasure Peter
Always enjoy your vlogs Paddy.
So cool that you were listening to the music of The Knack! I know you can't roll something like that in your soundtrack without risking copyright infringement. The next time you share an artist or song title with us, we can mute and play it on a different app so we're groovin' with you proper! Keep up the great work, now in Vietnam!
Great videos love the song you often play goes so well with views
Hi Im a Thai person ...who fallowing you travel in Thailand....You are so cool man
The name sounds like its derived from sanskrit , uttara-di meaning north .What a lovely place
During April, Uttaradit, Thailand's highest temperature is 43.5-44 degrees Celsius.
Thank you for making this vedio to present my hometown. You vedio is really good.😁🙏👍
I love following you on this adventure, my girlfriend and I want to do the same when we can return to Thailand
ฉันเป็นคนอุตรดิตถ์ ที่นี่ยินดีต้อนรับคุณ💓
OMG, the picture at the end! So peaceful and picturesque!!! Btw, you're right about this province, it is lesser known even to Thai tourists.
Travelling on those cross river ferries are a highlight of any trip. Fond memories of riding my (rental) bike around Northern Goa and getting on ferries whenever possible.
Welcome to Uttaradit and have a nice trip.
สวยงามครับ บ้านผมเอง อุตรดิตถ์ ❤❤❤
Hi , Paddy. Bet you have in your tour plan there to visit Thailand's second big the Sirikit Dam and the surrounding. On the way you may pass 'World's largest teak tree'. All in Uttaradit Province (borders with Laos) Have a great time and stay safe.
Hi Paddy … your videos are getting so professional..! I always can’t wait for the new videos to come out..!😃 great content with beautiful peaceful places 👍👍👍 take care my friend …
I live and teach in Uttaradit and I love it ♥️
Next station. Let you go to Thung Salaeng Luang national park, Noen Maprang, Phitsanulok province.🤗
I love Udit, my wife comes from there, I first started travelling there in 2003 and we now have a home out towards Thapla. There are really no foreigners there and when I first started going to Edit in 2003 there were almost none. Everyone there saw myself as a novelty and was forever humbled by the people and their graciousness and generosity. I wish I was there now, thanks for the upload.
Looks fantastic 👍❤️
I have been living in Uttaradit for 6-7 years Sis!!
In this province, you should visit Phu Soi Dao National Park, trek to the top and camp there for one night.
Nice one again, loved the song that girl has a lovely voice 👍
Nice, wine and cheese at hand, sitting back and chilling, enjoying as you bring me on Dreamy around the place
Uttaradit, hometown of Thailand's centennial defender , "Phraya Phichai Darb Hak".
Hi I'm citizen Uttaradit
you can get a cool forest atmosphere. come the way labla can find kaokab is most popular snacks and you can also find waterfalls. popular place in summer when you have to try to hang on the rope and climb the waterfall and when you're hungry, there are grilled chicken and sausages for sale at the entrance have fun and safe driving. 🏍️🏞️🍗🏊
Thanks for share your amazing video 😀👍❤️
Not forget to visit my home town( Phitsanulok)next from Uttaradit province .Thank you
I’m in Chiang Mai
And thinking to ride down there in a few weeks
Good video
ยินดีต้อนรับสู่อุตรดิตถ์ 👍
Reminds me (a little) of places around here where people go camp for the weekend with their motor boats and RVs...
When you tasted the water - Noooo! Lol. 🤣 I yelled at the tv. 🤣
I think the ladies on the raft/ferry were my favorite.... So funny and adorable! 😁
Haha yeah 🤪
It’s like that pandemonium song suits all drone shots
Brilliant as always, Paddy! I've only ever past through the province on bike rides, so thanks for showing us all more. Good to see Dreamy is running sweet!
Thank you for take me back to my hometown from your video :)
We (as a family) enyoing your trip video's so much. Which there were 300 province's in Thailand
You speak very clear Thai. I am traveling a lot, but many many places in your Vlogs, I am not even heard about.
Uttaradit sounds exactly like the Sanskrit word used for "North" in India, i.e. "Uttara" :) Pretty sure it has some link
Beautiful place!!
Yes, it does.
Yep, we actually used a lot of word from Sanskrit and Tamil in Thai language, that's why some of them may sound very familiar to Indian viewers
เราคนอุตรดิตถ์☁️🌾
อำเภอลับแล💙
Paddy you are looking a little uneasy crossing on that raft kinda like Tom Sawyer. 555 what a province name. Real tongue twister. No wonder there are no English videos. Beautiful drone shots. Your are probably the first foreigner they have seen in a year. Next level adventure for sure.
Haha yeah it's a difficult one...
Uttaradit is one of important railway station in Northern Line with big railway yard named "Sila Art" before mountaining.
Made my day.
Ughhhhhh you know what this track does to me! You get a like for it alone BUT it was well worth the like anyway.
I doubt you will ever understand the impact that song had on me the 1st time I heard it. Those scenes as you drove along between plains and mountains with it playing along ( OMFG DID YOU KNOW 'THIS' FRUIT GREW THIS WAY!!!!!????) Literally changed my entire mental outlook after losing my hearing and therefore my entire career during these times. I KNOW you've had your own moments but Paddy your videos paired with this track at just the right time honestly made a difference I could never put into words and I genuinely hope that I can repay you some day by being there for you in the way you were for me although I'd honestly rather u never stepped up to that cliff edge.
^^ Well that was a hard thing to put out in public but I wanted to take that risk to help you understand that it's stupid little random things that don't seem significant at the time that can have real life impacts in a positive way and I thank you for what you did without ever knowing it.
All good fella. It's the things that hit you at random times that make you really rethink things. ♥️♥️♥️
I will have an old sweetheart in Uttaradit province. And this province has famous durians and delicious Rangsat a kind of fruit. Including there is a Pad Thai opposite the Friday hotel, which doesn't need to cook anything. It's very delicious.
I prefer watching video in the rural more than urban city 😂 that is so much fun
Wow Paddy, love the vegetation out there. So if you had to say, which is so far up to now your best over all experience? and why?
Hmmm...I still have to say Khao SoK National Park...nothing beats those views
Absolutely love watching your videos Paddy. Keep up the good work 👌🏻 Who sings Pandemonium? Would love to download it.
Taylor Swift
You basically went to the national park in Uttaradit. 55555 U should go to Sirikit Dam, Laplae Museum, Wat Phra Taen, Phu Soi Dao (7 level waterfalls), to name a few.
