This province is the most special place in thailand, with the most special people I've found.hope it stays quiet and unchanged like this always❤❤❤❤
Last October I stayed just outside of that town in a village for 25 days. I loved it there in the city too.. not many foreigners and I actually enjoy that. Then we went up to some national park with the hot springs

Phayao lake is a real hidden gem. You would have had a wonderful view of the sunset from your room, they can be spectacular. I love the peacefulness of the lake, no motorised boats allowed which is great. And all the little restaurants along the lake shore are worth exploring, great food to be had at very reasonable prices.

Thank You for putting up this epsilon. It’s beautiful. It looks like a typical northern Thai province. By the way, the monk in the middle was crying and trying to wipe away tears as the Buddha was laying there dying.
Here’s the other side of my hometown. I live in the village that near Doi Nhok and I usually go to travel to Phayao as well. I really love the sunset at Phayao lake.

I am an expat and live about 12 km from Phayao.........Great town, it has all i need. and So Good is indeed one of my favorite restaurant there
I put on my Next Level merch for the date and you didn't even make a comment. You are so self absorbed but you make great content lol. This one was especially beautiful. Last time I was in Phayo I nearly missed getting my friend back to Chiang Mai for his flight as we lingered over a beer or 3 on the restaurant 1st floor balcony. It was before speed cameras and we rarely dropped below 160 KPH (except for villages). Defiantely not a trip for "dreamy". Beautiful town - so glad I live in San Sai Chiang Mai

You did my home town of Phayao a good turn, thanks. FYI, the lake is just very high at this time. It is actually running over the top of the banks in some places on the promenade. The island is not sinking. Nicely done Paddy. Thanks again.

Very nice. The waterfall was a beautiful start to the day. I guess the Buddha depiction of Hell is their version of Dante’s Inferno.
How lucky I am! I didn't do any research and accidentally book a one-night hotel near So Good, just cuz that place is close to sky temple which I am planning to visit the next day. I didn't know the lake at Phayao was so beautiful.

Hey Paddy great date thank you! Only one thing it’s not the Buddhist version of hell at the temple it’s more a cultural thing. So rather a Thai/Khmer/Burmese thing. However a really lovely video and so relaxing! ❤️

I reckon that the lake is just at a high level because of the heavy rain recently... Go back in 6 months and the water level would surely have dropped.
Very nice hotel room and the view is great. 1800 Baht is about £40 sterling. I miss the days when I could get 72 Baht to the GBP then it would have been £25. Everything seemed very cheap then.
I really would like to go independent touring in the north of Thailand.
Paddy, if your keeping a video library of all of the places you been, I would love to get a copy of course I would not expect it for free but whatever the cost is I'm sure it's well worth it.

Nevermind the romantic side of things paddy ,i can just picture myself on the bank fishing with those Thai guys 😎I often wonder when seeing statues(like some in this video) in the time i spent there .Are they having a laugh or does this actually mean something .But then one hits you and you think wow .Got to love the Thai's 😁
They sometimes have superman or batman at temples, when i asked why because i found it odd. The monk said :because they do good.
