      He knowa the upper models of the Valerion has more to offer than the JVC, or Sony. Such as, Dolby Vivion, IMAX in, Brightness, and most important, PRICE.

      @rayjackson6808 imax enhanced is not an useful feature. Dolby vision also does not work perfectly for projectors(due to different screens). Nothing high end compared to sony and jvc. Sony and jvc are native 4k and have vastly better native contrast. Everyone is curious to check valerion dynamic contrast performance against sony and JVC.

      No point for comparing them , one is long throw and one is short throw , valerion is also the sister company of awol

      @@chandan6119 You got no Imax disc that's why you don't know. Dolby vision is always the better looking between all standards. All I'm saying is the tech is at the point where you don't have to spend all that $ for great features anymore. I have a JVC that I spent big dollars on. It was the talk of the home thea world not too long ago. Wait till you see the Max when it become in wide circulation. Wait till you see other companies put their spin on this. You know they will. The native 4k vs pic shifting, that selling point is over. JVC still uses pic shifting to achieve 8k The more than average consumer don't have the tools to compare, and probably never spend that kind of money. Now that their putting all glass lenses with optical, and dynamic Iris, tone mapping, and no need for mad vr. The game has changed. all good for the consumer.

    All things you;ve showned on you tube that Valerion Related has been with the lowest model of Valerion. Get your hands on a Max, and make some real comparisons. The days of paying HUGE $ for great features on a projector are over. The Max is the game changer. With the professional lens setup, and Dynamic Iris, this has more to offer than the high dollar boys. When it comes to reviews you;re the Gold standert. We'll be waiting.

    The technology of AWOLs projectors are great. But their out of the box accuracy is awful and it blows my mind they've never updated their firmware to provide a better none calibrated experience. Especially as most UST shootouts I've seen don't calibrate meaning they're shooting themselves in the foot.
    This is probably the best UST available but none calibrated out of the box it isn't.
    Hopefully the tech in the Valerion comes to the next models along with better OOTB.

      I don’t know man, I’ve had the AWOL 3500 now for about 2 months, with a 132 inch ALR screen, it’s pretty damn spectacular, plus it’s got legs to stretch for updates. All glass lens, man I’ve had my share of projectors, it’s pretty sweet to have the slider machine under the screen that when you turn it on it just slides out and fills the screen with a glorious image. I believe it’ll get an update to resolve for tone mapping. But damn I love the thing honestly

    • @paulc5389
      @paulc5389 11 днів тому +2

      Hu.. it doesn't have a TV OS you supply your own. It happens to come with a firestick but you're free to use whatever you want. It supports all streaming devices just fine.

    • @tileslasher
      @tileslasher 11 днів тому

      @ however if it gets the tone mapping update it’ll still blow most everything away. We will have to see, but I’m telling you man its a freaking beast, who knows yet what it’s capable of with updates. As is it’s brighter than, so many things, and that goes a long way with 3D content. I am pretty pleased, I’ve had quite a few projectors, but I have a small space. Still got a 132” screen in my room, I am over the moon about it.

      Name 3 UST that you think are better. As for no Google TV, as mentioned by someone else, it comes with a Firestick, which is fully loadable with third party apps or you buy your own dongle. A projector will always run better, without all the added streaming media, etc.

  • @victorfontaine000

    Yeah, I was looking at going to an ultra short throw projector and screen but the 100” flat screens came out and are trending down under $3000. Projectors and there faded look in a lighted room are no longer a consideration.
