Everyone needs to stfu about comparing this to later stage bosses, especially erlang. At this point in the game, this was definitely an underrated, tough mini boss. @mojo as for you, you have the dodge timing down which is difficult to master, it's more so your strategy. I used pluck of many from the outset so that I can use it again about midway after his transformation but you got the job done nonetheless
your dodges are pretty good and you use immobilize correctly too! the only issue was with stances switching and rock solid usage, if you use thrust stance then after a successful dodge you can perform an instant 4 focus point heavy thrust and after a successful rock solid you can do an instant thrust ( you don't need all 4 focus points for this, one also works)
@@imphoenix124 I had issues with him too until i switched to the Thrust stance. You wanna keep your distance from him, he hits real hard and barely takes any damage
This boss was kind of annoying for a mini-boss. It's annoying because it is difficult to predict the attacks...I rank this one, rat sage, 100 eyes with no needle (did not beat) and Erlang as the toughest boss fights.
@imphoenix124 not necessarily, some bosses you may slay in one go where I might take many tries. Where are you currently in the game btw? I am still in chapter 3. Right where we get a new spell after this boss.
Get a bit better at your dodges and you are wasting to much of the flask on early or double heals The wandering weight is a great spirit to use and legit carries past ng+ Good luck dude
@ yeah he gave me trouble too. I’m on chapter 5. Keep grinding you’ll get better. There are a lot harder bosses like yellow long. Took me hours to beat him.
I'm at erlang spent the longest ⌛hour's he has wide variety of moves that cant be remembered every time And he adds a delay to his attacks so compared to him this non abled is next to nothing.
@ Shadow step once I use that move to keep him still I’ll head butt him I also had a lot of potions for damage reduction n use the thrust power moves whenever I used that move to keep him still sometimes also I used pluck of many but u got to beat his first form without using your Health portions
yo minute 2:13 is hilarious man, I share your sentiment hahahahahaha
He was making me mad lol
Erlang is going to test your sanity if you find out how to make it to him 😂
I can’t wait to see the rest of the bosses

Thanks man yeah this game is amazing so far so no matter how hard they are I want to beat every boss I can
Yellow loong becomes trivial when you realize the staff thrust charged to two or three focus confuses him lol but yeah fuck that fight

I like both but I can’t decide what one I would rather use I’m going to start using shadow step more
I'm at erlang spent the longest ⌛hour's he has wide variety of moves that cant be remembered every time And he adds a delay to his attacks so compared to him this non abled is next to nothing.
