Insane fight. Never have I watched a 10 minute video with such intensity and focus. Saw a couple of Erlang moves I’ve never seen in my NG+ play through. Even more excited to play him again. Absolutely god level play @Rena. 👏👏👏 Resolute strike and see through surprised me the first time I realised I could play without damage by using these but I always lost patience. I've seen a couple of no damage runs, but this one was intense. I had no idea that you could knock him out of his eye laser attack with a jump focus level 3/4 attack. Good work!
You never used a Vessel. All about those perfect dodges. Could not do it aged 60 tries. Starting from scratch with new character. Thank you for this. Inspirational
@@rena4278 I noticed in your Erlang fight you were continuously building up Focus points by perfect dodging and you stayed in Thrust stance. I’m working on that now, only in chap 2 again but learning how to get the most out of Thrust and dodging. I know there are a couple of items I can get later on that help with dodging.
I was legit saying to myself when i was learning scorpionlord's moves if anyone has anyone ever beat erlang with nothing then there weapon and my answer has been answered today 😂 W gameplay too btw
@@timyoung9121 first phase you can break his shield with spells without resorting into using the fan. Second phase you can use the fan and take his hp down as much as possible. Third phase you can use the rock transformation and buy time for the fan to comeback. Hope this help 💯
In a combo of light attacks, press heavy attack at the moment you take a hit. If timed correctly, it will trigger and consume 1 focus point (you regain 1 focuspoint if successful).after that, light attack continued at 3rd attack.
I'm watching the first minute of this video and while some of the best fighting from players in this game are good at pacing combos and dodging and fighting "slowly", I need to say this. WHY ARE PEOPLE SAYING THIS FIGHT IS HARD?!?!?!? People said Yellow Loong was hard and I beat him on first try on first run (all you gotta do is keep distance and cheese him with charged HeavyAttack). This ErLan only needs dodging and quick HeavyAttack Thrust Stances. 2:40 Interesting use of Jump + Heavy Attack. I never really thought to do that with bosses who are in mid-air and "unreachable" doing their own special/heavy attack.
Cheesing takes effort to but still doing a no dmg base armour run requires pure skill. It’s even easier if he hacks the game and kill the boss that way but that’s not the point of the video

You can learn his timing from my no hit run with him. Getting comfortable with his timing is more important than see through
