I work for an electric utility and the sheer number of electric transmission line projects going on all over the country due to “green” energy is insane, and will only grow during next 20 years. Definitely a good time to be in the electric trades at least for utility projects. And as you said it seems to be like this for all the trades right now and for the foreseeable future. Good luck to you all.
I had this video referred to me by another blue collar man. Here is my example of how good it is right now. My bank account is at my typical November account balance. That's after a good years work. My point, I've already accrued my "winter money" to get me through to February. It's June.... I'm ready for winter. Lol
100% about tradesmen not wanting to share the info. there is so much gatekeeping in the trades, and their pride doesn't allow them to admit that you can start a business in the trades quickly.
100% agree with you man. I’m 24, 3rd year Fire alarm tech and almost at the point of naming my price in this field.

Are you seeing any older folks (in their 50s)working in the field?
Hey Mike!
Yes, we have two guys on our team who are 60+. I’d actually say the majority of people in the field are 45+.
@@bluecollarandy Great, I'm looking for a change. So, I'll definitely look into it. Thank you.

If you are in the Iowa area, I could use another employee.
@@highqualityhomemaintenance7565 Thank you for the opportunity, unfortunately I'm not in Iowa.
