Introverts are exactly that! They have no trouble being around people (in small doses) but prefer time alone or with their critters...
Being in a relationship is an entirely different way of living. You are two people but living as one, especially if you're in a marriage relationship! I am an introvert, but no way I could be alone as much as Nikki is. I only saw one couple in the mix...

@@nia6849 the two are independent of each other. You can be alone and not lonely, apparently that's Nikki, and you can be in a crowd of people and be lonely. I like my solitude and freedom (I live alone), but I couldn't go on the road like Nikki does all alone for the time she does!

My parents dog is just the same! He took food from my brothers child who is a year old - same, so gentle.
When I camp I don’t socialize much, but in 2011 I bicycled from the Twin Cities, MN to Itasca State Park in northern Minnesota. I had front bags, rear bags, and a trailer. At the time I was 59. Everyone wanted to talk with me. And, it went on from there. A nearby family did a free concert ( nine kids). That was an extraordinary experience. I wish many more to you and Camper.

The Prius was amazing for a small car, probably easier to go undetected as well, but the Tacoma is obviously more spacious, rough & ready for your adventures. And it just looks supercool. It's fun to see you with other YTers, but as an introverted-extrovert (or vice-versa) myself, I often want to do my own thing. While I'd personally enjoy this meetup - for the dogs and like-minded people, the great outdoors, shared stories of roadlife, vegan food (and hot sauce!) - it's also okay to just say "no, thanks" if you're not into it. That's what makes all of you so independent. Anyway, home is wherever you are, Nikki. My dogs, when they were still alive, told me that, and I'm sure Camper agrees.😉💕🐶

It's lovely, but, asking a vet about possible hip issues in the future is worth it, my brothers dog had to be put down because he just couldn't walk, he ran a lot though.

You can buy a 600 watt immersion water heater for a 5 gal bucket that works with your large solar power stations. I fill my bucket about 1/4 way (or less) and put the heater coil in a tiny stainless steel bowl. The water gets hot fast and then you can add cool water to adjust temp to a proper level. You can use a battery powered shower but I prefer the plastic cup method to conserve water. Doesn`t take a lot of water to bathe. I rarely use more than 3 gallons to wash my long Rock n Roll hair and lather up with soap. Spank spank spank...spank spank spank....Camper`s booty! I used to sing that to my doggy Bella. LOL!
I've been following Trent on UA-cam for over a year and seeing you two in the same place feels like worlds colliding for me! So insane makes it feel like such a small world! It’s great seeing everyone with a little buddy like camper. I’m on a one personal mission to improve your dogs health even if they are young and have no health issues. Simply feed your dog chicken, eggs and bacon. You can boil enough chicken for a few days. Eggs, I use two eggs and a couple of table spoons of milk in a small bowl. Swish and put it in the microwave for 1:50 or three eggs for 2:15. Add milk until you figure out how to make eggs fluffy. It’s a matter of table spoons. I can pour it because I done it for years making fluffy egg sandwiches for myself.
Why bother? My dog lived until he was 15 and died of cancer. I thought I was feeding him the best dog food on the market but after feeding these three things with chicken McNuggets from time to time I noticed his coat got even softer and he acted a little happier and a trot returned to his walk. But I didn’t make this change until it was too late. Please give it a try for one month and see if your little buddy acts better with a smoother coat. You can use some fillers for balance but no processed carbs just natural ones. I know you love them enough to try it. Dogs are the best.
Niki if you have gut issues, and no I'm not a doctor, corn doesn't digest well they say to eat celery and make a celery juice to help maintain a better gut. Glad you had your milk after trying the sauce. You are the one with the wonder-gut to decide you're own choices. Happy for you! author Dr. Anthony William of the medical medium talked about celery in his books and videos. what's your thoughts on the celery Juice?
Treeeeeeeeent, it's cool when I see another content creator on someone else's video. It's always great to group up with like minded people. You guys can travel together, safety in numbers, but also be able to stray away to do solo things when needed.

I struggled with being alone and being single until I read a book by sociologist Eric Klinenberg called “Going Solo”. It was a life changer for me! It opened my eyes to all the positive aspects of living single. It’s a great read that I’m sure will help with your situation as well.

So I had an idea about Camp’s stick obsession. Get a small glass bottle an a pocket knife and take slivers of the sticks he brings you and keep them in the bottle. You can name it Camper’s Bark.

I always think about how comfortable I am being alone but then realize I have an amazing companion in my dog.... When he passes then I'll have to deal with that, hopefully I will meet my husband by then. I have been alone comfortably before I had a dog but I definitely prefer life with him. For all those hot food challenges you need plane white granulated sugar. The scoville scale that grades the hotness of a pepper is based on how much sugar it takes to neutralize the burn. It is the sugar in bread and milk that reduces the burn. Sugar is just so much more effective. As far as hook ups I might recommend either Kara and Nate or Aemon and Bec. Both couples are well traveled and seem like fun people.
Sugar and starch are the path to diabetes. You do not want this so avoid at all costs. Low carb (keto) prevents/beats diabetes.

How brave of you to try something new. When people are so tight like that, and many of them couples. It would be so easy to feel like the odd (wo)man out. But you were courageus and open and the group was kind to invite you, and then accept you. The adventures of being on the road. Each one of those people have their stories. So interesting. I hope the dogs got along. I am so socially retarded I don't know if I could handle situations like this. It takes a long time for me to open up to people and be myself. Best Wishes.
I tried going off on my own back in 2021 but had severe depression a month away so had to come back to my friends. Glad you are able to find happiness being alone.

I knew I had seen you a couple weeks back in Maddie Taylor's video. You folks are having a great time. I love your adventures.
The Tacoma is such a solid choice for a camper build. You can't go wrong with the Tacoma's reputation with it being such a durable compact truck.
Once you are done with this Truck and you are on the market for a truck also consider a ram 2500 4x4 with the Cummins diesel engine. The truck will be bigger so you will have more cabin space. But also the cummins engine is an absolute beast of a durable engine that provides higher torque ratings which. So you will have less trouble hauling your camper and personal items around off road trails, and also better fuel economy.
But if you want a smaller truck then the Tacoma is the way to go.

You can tip your cup onto your Aeropress, then flip both back over, instead of trying to flip the Aeropress over fast without drips. Can't believe how long it took me to figure that out. Keep on adventuring, you're an inspiration!
Why flip over at all? Start with it sitting on your cup with the filter, add coffee, then water, then the plunger and push. No flip.
@@stevengower7396 because it will start draining into your cup before your preferred steep time is up. Or at least that is my reason for inverted brew method. The water isn't going to sit up there for a minute and a half.
@@Christophoclese a few drips didn't bother me when I used the original filter. Now I use the Prismo attachment, no filters, no drips, and better result to my taste.

I’m right there with ya Nikki! Taco Bell mild is the best I can do lmao. You’re a lot like me, really good being alone but extroverted when in a group. I often go 2, 3 and 4 weeks at a time without seeing another human being and I love it. I’ve got my beloved furkids and the beauty I’m surrounded by in rural Montana. When I want social interaction I drink whiskey and beer with my close friends/neighbors on property near me. Good for you for sticking it out and having fun but running solo is what’s in your soul I feel 😘😘 I ❤️ you and Camper, keep it safe woman!!
