I got my 2007 crf150f for 800 CAD$ and it came with gear for an extra 50$, so I got a chest protector, 2 pairs of pants, boots, and a jersey all for 50 CAD$, sometimes just buy used stuff to have some fun
I was just thinking about this series ths other day. Super excited for round two of actual riding, not just survival skills. Of course, the behind the scenes footage of the upgrades will be 🔥
Yes! Very high quality video series! I rewatched the 5 miles of hell and continue to share that content to riding buddies. I'm hoping one day they will ride the dirt with me. I've already baptised and converted one. We got ourselves DT125s that we are working to improve the riding performance.
Idsel Seno y’all got me beat last bike I had I was 15 I’m now 45 sorry to say I lost all my friends when I was young as well the only advice I can give is hang onto your friends and enjoy riding it’s something I may never be able to do again at least I have the memories I guess
Yeah!!! The '83 XL600R! That bike is awesome for it's intended use and goes pretty good out in the desert, but it's definitely heavy for enduro racing! -Charles
@@rmatvmc I would have to agree, for my intended use, mainly desert, and fire roads, it is great. For enduro racing, one word comes to mind, masochist. Awesome series, all of you were great, it looked like alot of fun, but it can't be ignored that it had to be a lot work. Thanks for sharing.
You guys should do a video on how to check if a used bike like those under $500 are in still proper condition to ride, just like a tutorial in what to check on used bikes before buying. Awesome Video!
Hey, Im from colorado and i have just recently struck a deal on a yamaha tw200, but was hoping to get a 125 2-stroke or a 450 4-stroke. My father owns a towing company and emileo towed a guy from rocky mountain racing one time and emileo gave me the hat, glasses, and shirt you gave us! Ride on!
Thanks! That bike was a lot of work. It would have been nice to fix up a lighter bike, but that one was the best bike available within the budget. All things considered I think it turned out pretty good! I just wish I could have ridden better! -Charles
this stuff is right up my alley...bravo dudes ....bravo i the champ of racing junkers i raced mx in the 70s i got stared at allot, i had some pissed off people when i got good finishes.
Oh man I bought a 1975 Suzuki 185 with the same issue on the kick starter. You have to take the entire engine apart. The catch for the gear is on the inside of the transmission. But it’s a good time to check everything.
Another great one! Your bodies must have taken quite a beating on those old bikes. I owned two of the bikes shown here back in the day........XR 500 and the XL 200.
@@rmatvmc once I cleaned the carb it fires right up. I will rebuild the front suspension and clean all the parts. The only thing it will need is an exhaust, plastics, tires and some cleaning. But she shifts fine.
Honda XL600R hell yeah! Recently bought one out of '87 myself. Its a bit heavy for cross I guess but with the dual carb setup you've got endless power.
That xl600r is going to make a heavy bike@ 196 kg to drag around the track. Great to see you guys back into a new challenge, super cool to see a low budget again and its not just about the race but the prep.

“ I make hundreds of dollars a year” 😂
lmfao pure gold ahah
Seriously some of the best content coming out right now.
Refreshing when everybody expects us to spend over $500 for a pair of boots.
This. It doesn’t take big money to have big fun
Who's everybody? I think you're imagining what others expect of you. There are lots of boots for way under $500.
I got my 2007 crf150f for 800 CAD$ and it came with gear for an extra 50$, so I got a chest protector, 2 pairs of pants, boots, and a jersey all for 50 CAD$, sometimes just buy used stuff to have some fun
you already know this is gonna be a good video !!
“ I make hundreds of dollars a year” 😂
The boys are back! I look forward to the next ones!!
Charles's bike might be the only one that looks the part for sub $500 😂😂 What a clapper!
Lol. Yeah that bike has seen better days! My to-do list was about two pages long, so we definitely saved this bike from going to it's grave.
-Charles
Smiles per dollar is off the charts.
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! - Wes

Congratulations! That sounds like an awesome deal! Is it complete? What does it need? - Wes
