Fundemental Friday - Pakal edged weapons grip

Continuing the series Fundemental Friday, we switch grips to the power thrusting grip , Pakal aka ice pick or reverse grip. Pakal has its advantages but contrary to some internet opinions its is not the preferred grip of a trained knife practitioner. In a scenario that risks losing blood, every inch counts and you lose that with pakal. Not to mention dexterity. However you can generate a much more powerful thrust and excellent if trapping the opponents hand is needed.
