  • A fun and "wacky" video to demonstrate the ease of replacing shock cord in your tent poles. This video will show you the proper way of doing this for 98% of all tents on the market. I am demonstrating using my MSR Hubba Hubba NX pole, simply because they needed to be done, and I don't own 98% of the tents out there! LOL. Hope you enjoy the video, and I truly appreciate your Hang Time! GET OUT, STAY OUT!!! - LTE. Music provided by: www.Bensound.com

Leaving tomorrow for the West Coast Trail & thought I was good... put up my tent just to make sure I had everything & my shock cord was no good!! Panicked, found this video, bought some shock cord, & replaced it with your video guiding me. Now I'm ready & can breathe a sigh of relief. Thank you!!

Ahh...The exact reason I did this video was to be of help. Good on you for getting it done. You are already on your trip as I type, and I hope it is everything that you expect and more! Drop a line and let me know what you thought of the trail. Keep living your Dash!!! - Davey

@@daveysdash It was challenging and fun!! It was my first solo trip so I needed all my gear and planning to be as solid as possible. There was a huge rain event and some evacuations while I was there but I stayed dry and on schedule. I learned so much about myself & am still on a high... :)

Thank you so much for this video. I have to replace my shock cords after discovering that most of them had died between last summer and this one...while I was on trail. I pushed a lot of limp cord to get the poles to work.

I am sooo sorry for a late response. Unfortunately, the bills keep coming. Funny how that works! I'm glad to be of help, and I appreciate your Hang Time as well as comment, as they are the two best ways to support me in getting out, with you all along. Keep living your Dash!!! - Davey.

The ahh moment when the black clip opens. I was pondering how I was going to double thread the cord. Thanks.
