Well the good news is that if you opened collectors you might still get your value back. The bad news is that I can't help but notice: This is clearly an expansion people want but the pulls on the play boosters which honestly, we should be calling *draft boosters* by now, are terrible specially for the price. Might not seem like much but the only way to keep prices down on singles is to have people open more product and then complement what they didn't open or can't trade for with single buys and that's just apparently not happening with the poor quality-to-price ratio of play boosters and not enough people are moving up to opening collectors so supply is just not there in terms of singles while demand its still strong, that will have predictable results.
I've been seeing Flubs get the CEDH treatment, which is honestly what Nadu got as well (Sylvan Paradise & Sea King's Blessing). The Knowledge Vault is too expensive and slow for a CEDH deck so I'm not seeing it in normal lists. If there is a high power list meant for a more casual table it might find a home but don't see it holding high for that long unless I'm missing something
I'm a fan of counters strategies and this was the 1 card I really wanted from the set. I snagged 2 foil copies for $1 during the prerelease dip. They show as shipped from TCG player but Im worried they wont make it
For me looking at the card jumping 500+ % is crazy but also anyone playing with it and needs 4....80-100 just for that playset or equal to 1 sheoldred, and your right on the knowledge vault MTG stocks finally got up, your ahead of the curve Mox
I got my playset of innkeepers for a meme standard deck which didnt work out but now im glad i did because it seems to be really good for rg aggro which ill be taking into store championships. Really glad i caught the chatter on it.
I said it once, I will say it again, Recycle is very good in Flubbs and is still only 3 dollar on the reserved list. This knowledge vault card costs 4 and then another 2 every time you use it where as the Recycle is 6 one time and you will be drawing two for every card played.
If you’re going to play Recycle, you should remain aware of the fact that it’s not that hard to draw-lock yourself. Dedicated hand-destruction is nearly nonexistent in EDH, but I can think of a fairly significant # of Black Hypnotic Spectre-like creatures that make it into lists because they have Fear/Menace to leverage in setting off damage-triggers. Maybe it’s not a huge risk, but if you get draw-locked by your own enchantment? You won’t walk that scoop off anytime soon with your buddies. ;)

Undiscovered Paradise and Sensei's Divining top are great with it for a rainy day fund lol My main point is that it is just a matter of time before some new commander busts it wide open, and it becomes worth way more than 3 dollars. I have played that card numerous times, and the table groans, and I win that turn or the next.
@@TheViralMC Oh absolutely. One of the last 60 card decks I built before going on my lengthy hiatus at the end of the Urza’s block was Recycle/Survival. One of those happy accidents now that I’m back for EDH w/ playsets of Survival, Aluren, Earthlore and such. That was such a busted period for MtG. I’m legit shocked there isn’t a super-Sun Titan-like cost-three Search-and-put-onto-battlefield Commander yet, myself. On the flip side, that trading off a somewhat battered Cradle for a NM Unlimited Berserk I felt like such a genius for pulling off at the time is a constant mental thorn I’ll never be able to pull out of the old brainmeats. :( The *real* #1 Item on every MtG Collector’s Wish List: A working Time Machine. 😂
@shawnpanzegraf5642 Bro! We must be cut from the same cloth! I am probably partial to that card because that was the first Type 1 deck I ever built was show and tell, recycle, and Masticore! I have a small fortune from my at the time pre rotation Deranged Hermit turn 3 with Gaeas Cradle tournament deck. I was devastated when the urzas block rotated out and just stopped playing. People faces were priceless when I played over run and didn't pay the echo cost letting the Hermit die turn 4 and hit them for 25 with squirrels and elves, lol I had a proxy of Black Lotus in that type 1 deck and had it in my hand at my LGS for 150 dollars. As I was saving up the 150, and it jumped to 300 I thought I lost my chance and never bought it lol. I'm sure you know how that went in the end. I'm sure the younger generations are probably wondering wtf Type 1 means upon reading this. 😂

(Everything DCI was on like a 14 month lag compared to even New England.) When there was no more room in Vintage Hell, the dead walked up out of the gaming conventions, because the *Turbo Stasis* craze was FL’s intro to Everything Type II All the Time. If I never, ever, *ever* play another U/W Control deck, I’ll die happy. Or Necro Deck. Know what? Just no Standard ever again. Was EDH that woke me to ride and raise hell again. A whole new generation to terrorize until they learn that Interaction Is Mandatory, Because I’m Better At Getting Out in Front. Oath of Druids, man. Did a brief stint in Legacy cuz I was sweet on this redhead smoke show of a Lvl 3 Judge, but got my deck swiped while giving my opponent CPR after a pharmacy mistake w/ his blood thinner scrip.
I know there will be more price adjustments during the next few weeks. The Professor opened a Play Booster box and got $29.00 worth of cards. This is yet another example of Wizards charging high prices and not giving much value back. Thank you for the video Mox Man.
I think thats in cards that are only over a certain amount. The supply is as high as it ever will be, if you dont understand this i dont know what to tell you
@@dongdoodler I do understand this. The Professor only counted cards worth $2.00 and up. Don't forget that Wizards will be printing this set for another 18 months. I really like the set though.

Flubs looks killer in my Madness deck. I also like the way it works with cantrips and Library of Leng. Gonna see how it all goes together in a Commander deck.
The last box thunder junction I got there was 61 rare-mythics, The bloomburrow boxes gave me in average 45,5 rare-mythics. This is a lot less for the same price so I expect the singles to cost more because you need to open a lot more packs .
It’s similar to ranger class, but instead of giving the effect after paying a second lot of 2 mans you get it straight away. It’s a powerful card mostly for standard. It may see some play in modern. But it may be even a bit too slow for that format
Seems a bit of a miss to talk about Innkeeper’s Talent and never compare it to Doubling Season. I figure it is going up because commander players love Doubling Season and see this as a cheaper replacement or a second of.
@@derrickpaulson3093 Not just that, but a base-green deck has a lot of ways to creature-tutor, and Cathedral Acolyte also puts Ward 1 on everything w/ a counter for 1G 1C, so for 4 mana you can give your entire board Ward 2.

Am I missing something? I thought it only gives ward 1 to cards you control with counters on them. How does it provide ward 1 for all permanents on your board?
I was lucky enough to get a playset of the inn keepers talent out of the gate. From sealed to one pre release version. So I’m all good to let them keep rising up.

Of the two boxes I opened my pulls weren't good. Most of the packs had a single rare/ mythic. Previous sets the ratios were a lot better.

That ward 1 on Innkeepers Talent is for ALL permanents, making it more expensive to target ANYTHING on your board.
