Just giving the city employees something to do, these people will be off to the next street to destroy it too. Just because you're homeless dosent give you the right to burn fires and destroy other people's properties and propertie values! I was homeless for almost a year myself but I didn't build a living room in the middle of a road, I stayed out of the way and worked on getting myself together.

I've read where homeless people hoard every item they find, get or are given. It's written they feel a sense of loss or control while homeless; hoarding items gives them a sense of some type of control over something. It's really sad, if the appropriate resources such as: rehabilitation ( alcohol/drugs),mental health ( including much needed institution facilities) and more help available with rent/mortgage ( when people get sick or loss of jobs) was made available, these conditions would minimize. Many agencies receive the governmental monetary help, yet paying employees and management who make 6 figure incomes, the help disbursed for those intended is minimal. The government should start small agencies were all employees make the same amount ( not 6 figure incomes) then maybe, just maybe more of the money would make it for it's intended need. Now, all the others who just want to back pack and live off the fat of the land, those people would be evaluated for employment and have their SNAP benefits cut off after 3 months. There are too many jobs for many of these able bodied people to want to just live in tents and collect SNAP benefits. For that group, their free ride would end after 3 months.
@@SweeTeaNLemon keep it real. Most these people don't want help. A majority of souls are lost and can't be helped.. The drug game is different last 5 years. There is no hope for many.

The city needs to implement a "No Camping" ordinance with a $250.00 fine and upto 30 day in jail, and place the signs up just like they would a No Park ordinance sign..
Have you ever heard of if you don't want to help yourself then why should you expect others to help you. These people or most don't want to work or anything they have given up on life. But you have to get a grip and try at least. I have had friends that try to hire these homeless people to work at 40 or 50 bucks a day cash money and they turn them down when it is as simple as picking trash up on lots and stuff so they can mow them. So understand one thing before you start spewing that stuff out of your mouth if they don't want to help or better there self then you can't expect the public too. There not children there grow ass adults that don't give a crap about there self or you. So dog off in your wallet alittle deeper and let several of them move into your house. That will get them off the streets. 👍
I have lived in Los Angeles for 53 years. There have always been homeless people on Skid Row. You would see a handful around the city pushing a shopping cart loaded with various items and maybe a pad and blanket for sleeping. Never would I see tents, couches, queen size beds and mounds of trash. At night, the homeless would conceal themselves. Somewhere that all changed. I have never heard an explanation from any politician as to how things changed. Why are there thousands of homeless encampments across the city? Who are these homeless? Where did they come from? Have they moved here from other states that do not tolerate camping anywhere? Are these people recently released felons? We are told by the politicians, "There but for the grace of GOD go I." Umm, no. Most of us live our lives so we will never be homeless, never injecting meth, never stealing, never committing violent crimes. We are told by politicians that the homeless do not present a threat, yet daily we hear of assaults and murders committed by members of the homeless community. Los Angeles tax payers have voted for every proposition to help the homeless; billions of dollars have been squandered.
Exactly!!! Measure H? What happened, I'm done voting for any homeless measure ever again. Compassion has flown out the window, with the miss management of funds. These politicians should be in jail, or better yet homeless.
Have you also seen the homeless who live in vehicles, motorhomes, or some type of commercial truck turned into a home? The majority of these people obviously have more income, but still can't afford or don't wanna pay high ass cost of living in California. I can't say I blame them either. A tiny cracker Jack box house in Crenshaw cost at least $500,000 or more nowadays. If I even had the money, I wouldn't pay that kind of money for a small ass house. I'd stay in a motorhome too. I watched a documentary about a homeless woman who's a Social Worker and her kids out there living in a van.
The causes are sanctuary cities, mexicans, and as trump says the illegals who where some are good , some arw rapis and mulders and thiefs. fentanyl is pouring into the usa due to prez bidet. peeps even showing up from mid east..looking for fentanyl.

Esos no quieren tus oraciones. Esos quieren que les des dinero para seguir comprando drogas. Ellos simplemente no quieren incorporarse a la sociedad ya que tendrían que trabajar y es algo a lo que ellos no quieren.
There are older people and disabled among them though. They're more likely to live in vehicles or to get priority for tiny house villages and that kind of thing. There the ones who don't want to live in the street. In my city there are no Section 8 places and people aren't even allowed to go on waiting lists.
I was once young and naive and I volunteered to help the homeless but I quickly found out that most of them are entitled brats. Most homeless simply want to be left alone, and believe it or not they are perfectly content with living this lifestyle - most people cannot comprehend this. If you give them pizza they're mad it's not steak, you give them water they're mad it's not soda, you give them coffee they're mad it's not starbucks. Some homeless have very strong support systems with family that will house them and believe it or not some of them are extremely rich. Nothing will make you feel more like a fool than trying to help a millionaire homeless person. I guarantee some of the homeless people you see in these videos are outright millionaires.
I think you are confusing panhandler/swindlers with the homeless. I do agree with your other points about them thriving on this lifestyle and demanding better stuff when helped. I believe the vast majority are drug users that cannot adapt or refuse to adapt to social constructs.
The problem is not that people have no empathy for homeless it's that setting up on public streets is not only an eyesore but unsanitary and public walkways and access denied to fellow citizens.
Yeah, the Socialist/Dems don't give a shit about that. If that hasn't sunk in yet then you're just as guilty as the Democrats because you voted for them.
there should be a place set up for them since everywhere is a public street no matter where you walk, provide transportation to the designated zone and people will be corralled there. Even if that's jail at least it's consistent.
It's great to see this. Cal Trans has been on a mission the last 8 months cleaning some Valley areas, Beach areas, Inglewood areas by SoFi stadium, and areas along the 101 freeway near downtown. Homeless citizens who don't litter and urinate everywhere are not the people being targeted. It's the homeless citizens who are allergic to trash cans and trash their living areas that are bringing all this attention to themselves.

I'd say there's something very wrong with being poor. You can't afford to live! Everyone started wet and ugly. Poor people, get a job. Fast food places in my town are begging for unskilled teens to flip burgers for $25/hr.
As an urban outdoorsman, I don't need someone to clean up my camp. I clean up every morning and leave the space clean. Just like I found it. The other benefits are that I respect the people who let me spend the night and they respect me for not trashing their place of business, and I run by myself. Never was a fan of Jerry Springer.

if you can supply shelters for them, there should be a strict law against on living on the street. You don't need a tent with belongings such as lawn furniture, sofas and a half dozen bicycles and the residents should not have to put up with this junk. Then they complain when it gets taken. If you own a home, there are laws against having it in your front yard so why do we allow this on our streets.
Because if your homeless you should have nothing..We should make them walk around naked with a sign on their neck..Ohh.maybe even brand them..How dare they not conform to the system..
I don't know for sure but I've been told by people who are homeless that the shelters are not safe. Between fights and stealing some don't want to be in any shelters available. Personally I don't know 😕
If the shelters had showers, and let you stay in them. 99% of shelters don't let you stay there in the day time or morning, nor do they give you food. Also having a bike lets you travel to work for a living.

Its tough dealing with this problem because of the freedoms we have as Americans. The homeless are not required to find a home. People have the freedom to do nothing productive if they wish. You cannot round them up and put them in work camps, this is not NAZI germany. You can provide help but they cannot be forced to take it. It is a big problem

Not all of them. You'll be surprised to find out that a majority of them do have jobs. I'm from Louisville Kentucky where they even have a homeless encampments & know quite a bit of them who have regular jobs.
Mental illness is an overwhelming contributing factor to the majority of the US homeless population. Saying that these people are "lazy" is in itself lazy thinking and shows absolute ignorance in a multifaceted problem.

I lived in a tent for a year and a half to prove I could do it. I was in a out of the way place, I cleaned up all the other messes that other people had made and left behind. I never had a mess like that on the street behind me so I say people do not have to do that. I think the city ought to go around at 3:00 in the morning with the trash truck and a fire hose and spray people down and clean up anything that's on the street everyday. I'm no longer kind about it it's ridiculous for people to make those kind of messes on the street. Look at them, all that mess they're packing up to take out of there, they're just going to take it to another Street and make the same kind of mess there. If you're homeless you don't need all that kind of stuff. You need, a sleeping bag, a tent a little stove, maybe two pots, some warm clothes, and a composting toilet bucket. I'll say it again there's no need in those kind of messes.
Their hoarding pushes people to say something about the amount of junk piling up.

Why would they work when taxpayers pay their way.
Billionaires ? Not a single human being wants to live without sanitation, water, electricity and a solid roof above your head.

If a homeless schizophrenic or manic doesn't want to be responsible by checking in and taking their daily meds. Then that would be strike one. Once back on their meds they will have the choice to be sent back out to the street or to a transitional facility. There they will have to follow the rules of the transitional facility. Where they will learn and perform daily life skill routines and will have acquired a steady paying job. Upon graduation and or completion, they will then be assisted into subsidized housing and will have to attend and participate in weekly meeting classes and therapy. It's so sad. So many young homeless people. They all looked like they're in their mid 20's to 30's. They all seem healthy and capable of so much more in life. I wonder what lead them there.
drugs and in most case mental problems not to mention murder and high crime its time to be tough on them .

I'd like to nominate the operator of that front end loader/grapnel as "Man of the Year"!
Very talented and good small machine driver... Thumbs up for his skill...
Gee, if I show up on Martha's Vineyard, in the Hamptons or on Mercer Island and say "I'm homeless, now house me!", do you think I'd get a nice hand-me-down mansion? Why do people say it's Los Angeles' responsibility to house every indigent who makes it to the Pacific Ocean?
No, and neither are these people. What is wrong with you?
The whole country need to do the same. Return a clean street and beach to the general public. If you are not mentally ill or lazy, being homeless is a choice in this country.
Hang on so your saying being lazy is an excuse to be homeless???
It probably auto corrected the word “crazy”

The thing I can say about one of our homeless encampments is....they have really kept it clean. The business, across the freeway, said that if they needed to, they could dump their garbage in the business dumpster. This encampment also has their own rules. Break a rule, take a hike. They haven't caused problems. They are right next to a busy street and haven't even panhandled.
some people just want a life free of societies bullshit. unfortunatly, we are all lumped in as druggies, criminals, bums.ive had people throw bottles at me, jump me, cops beat me up and left me on side of road, and countless people telling me to fuck off and die. yet they complained we didnt help our vets. im an army veteran
Good work to all the workers n the path ways is so much cleaner n neater too.
I wonder where these people will go next to set up camp, and why did it take so long for the city to take some action and move them out? Also, it looks like these people had been in this location for quite a while. I am surprised at the amount of stuff they collected.
Every Homeless person will have a home of their own when nesara/Gesara comes in affect no one around the world will no longer be homeless this could be why they are finally after all these years they are cleaning the streets they have done the same in Washington DC they removed them from a park
There is a process. These people have to be served an eviction notice. In some cases their belonging have to be stored at the states cost, even if its a cart full of trash. The people that want help get help. These people don't want help. There are so many free resources the homeless have access to.
They can set up a make shift house in 2hours. Not there when you went to bed🌃 there when you wake up.🌅
There is help with getting rid of anything🦠 in your neighborhood.
Call your city for information who to reach out to for any problem you see.
I get trying to clean up the area. Instead of using city workers, why not the homeless? Bring in big dumpsters and tell them to pick up their s*** and load up the dumpsters. They hauled it there, they can pick it up.
The Dutch use that system, I will work for beer. They get so much beer for cleaning up park and more beer if they work after lunch. Not many after lunch.
It's unbelievable to see so many people without a home gather so much stuff. One would like think, seeing that if you are homeless why would you want all this junk....But that truly is a sign that they don't have any intention of trying to get back on there feet, they would much rather get high and live on the streets and commit any crime that needs to done to continue there life style....I am so passed the point of having any compassion for them, they are cockroaches.

People have to have some money. They need clothes, soap, towels, toothpaste, and a phone and transportation so they can look for a job.

Venice Board Walk since 1970's home for many homeless that have stayed on the beach front all night with no where to go. I remember the erra, the homeless, drugs, crime and violence. I remember metro law enforcement coming in and raking action to clean up and heal Venice. I remember how it once again became safe and nice to live but through years we see it only got worse. Sad situation all the damage and trash.
Homeless and mental ill need housing off streets. it would cost less then repairing over and over and or losing a city
How in the hell can homeless people acumulate all that crap. if theyd spend as much time as they do gathering crap as to getting off the damn streets they be real successful at it.
Get rid of the ones that are crazy violent and drug addicted. They are not all like that. Resolve yourself to the fact that you can't save the world help those who are trying to help themselves.
The Supreme Court has ruled they can’t be incarcerated or hospitalized against their will unless they commit a crime.

Yes it could, but we at least would throw our trash away properly in a trash can. We at least would still use a rest room to urinate or poop. These folks don't respect their surroundings
PRAISE POSEIDON! May the power of the waters protect these poor degenerates!

This is sickening. Why can’t you find a place for them. The government finds places for immigrants to live before our own USA homeless have a steady place to call home.
I’ve seen these small places built, smaller than a persons whole living room, yet the homeless would receive it as gold. Stop shelling out to “strangers” before taking care of our own!

The way I personally feel is a yes homelessness happens but you don't have to live on the street the right in Plain view of other people and be a nuisance.
Perhaps The Money Being Spent On Housing Non Citizens,Can House These Homeless Citizens.JS!
Sad💔
Exactly! I live in NY, so I feel their pain
These folks look young and healthy enough to get jobs.

Yes , This kind of full length HD videos are entertaining
Why because it makes you feel like a success,,??
No wonder stores have to up there prices. Look at all the stolen shopping carts.
Their hoarding pushes people to say something about the amount of junk piling up. All they need are the necessities in a cart, food, shelter, few clothings and toiletries, because being homeless is not supposed to be a long term plan. Unless you’re disabled or suffer from a medical condition you shouldn’t be lugging around a couch.
@1zzy L
I wouldn't doubt it.

It's really sad though.
I feel fortunate I had a stable home growing up. Worked for a large company for 40 years and retired. Never been homeless or strung out on drugs.
My local grocery store has upped their buggy prices to one dollar I guess they think that’s going to stop disappearance/theft of the buggies but the homeless will always find a way through begging to get $1 for a buggy and keep it for all the crap they pick out of people’s garbage at the curb/donation bins.

This country solution to the homeless out of sight out of mind anyone who's ever been homeless would understand. Yeah we treat the homeless in the country like we treat garbage and it's a crying shame
Give it a couple of weeks and the tenants will come back to wreck the place… It’s unfortunate but it’s happening all over America and even rich European countries.
No need to wait a "couple of weeks". They do this expensive clean up every Friday. New videos every week.
When I was unfortunately homeless, I never had so much stuff and carried it everywhere. Much less, find a couch and post up and live in front of someones house. You! And only you with the help of resources will pull you out!! If you don't choose help, then your choosing homelessness.
♦️I have never been homeless. I have seen what being homeless has done to people. They are NOT, I REPEAT NOT, the scourge of the earth. They are unfortunate people who do not have a home. They need a place to live, food to eat, clothes to wear, friends and family to care about them, and most of all dignity and salvation. Do something to help - do not heap on criticism.♦️
There are homeless shelters, relatives and friends. The majority are homeless by choice. Citizens should not have to tolerate all the filth, noise and criminal activity that comes with this problem. Go out into the woods and live, not on the PUBLIC streets !!!

P The homeless shelter village residents pay rent for their units. The village pays for utility hook ups, one free meal a day, trash removal, and the staff's salaries; which should total only $260,000 a year. Where is it getting its "millions more to run" lie from?
