- Venice, Los Angeles - March 13, 2024: A significant cleanup operation was undertaken at the on Main Street and Clubhouse Avenue in Venice, Los Angeles, targeting homeless encampments. The operation, spearheaded by the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), focused on Motor Homes (RVs), vans, and cars that were parked along Main Street and Clubhouse Avenue. In preparation for the cleanup, temporary "No Parking" signs were placed, restricting parking from 6 am to 6 pm on Wednesday. As a result, two motorhomes and one car were impounded and towed away.
LADOT traffic officers were responsible for enforcing parking regulations outlined in the California Vehicle Code and Los Angeles Municipal Code.
To ensure the smooth and safe progression of the cleanup, Los Angeles Police Officers were deployed, playing an essential role in upholding security and order throughout the operation.
The cleanup's success was greatly enhanced by the cooperative efforts of various city departments, an initiative coordinated by Councilwoman Traci Park's Housing Coordinator with the active participation of the homeless encampment task force. This collaborative approach highlighted the importance of compliance, safety for all participants, and the maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
This initiative is a component of Los Angeles' comprehensive strategy to combat homelessness. It emphasizes not only immediate cleanup efforts but also the pursuit of long-term solutions aimed at enhancing public health and sanitation. The city's dedication to ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and well-being of both housed and unhoused community members reflects a commitment to a balanced strategy that incorporates support services alongside necessary enforcement actions.'

I’m very happy for those that live nearby.
28:00 The black van has been in the same spot for over a year, maybe a lot more. She was parked at a meter without paying. I don't feel sorry for her.
Yes, I could tell when they moved it, the black tire marks that were left on the road, OMG, + the shit blocking the wheels. They're just playing the game.
And notice she can afford cigarettes
Indeed ! You can see it parked in december 2022 thanks to Google Street View.
@@ratso-rizzo 😮 wow ❗

Thanks for cleaning up the street. Great video! ❤
After Venice go to Santa Monica and Downtown L.A
Actually, ‘Skid Row’ was designated by the L.A. City Council, to be the ‘homeless collection area’ in the Great Depression.
It’s never really, lost it’s ‘status’ as that.
Even given the vermin & serious disease of homeless users self sequestered around the city, they should be rounded up & gathered there.
Sure, it’d become a very concentrated problem of problem people, but they shouldn’t be allowed to clog up the rest of the cities of L.A., causing the aforementioned public safety & health issues, & producing a definite road hazard issue, if they’d been ordered to ‘drive it elsewhere’ (as we’d seen last week!), in disintegrating RVs, for even just a few blocks or miles.
It’s insane.
THUS, the City's being overrun, by the homeless ! 💀 🇺🇸 👎
The Van says Leave a Message. I have one..Meet it at the tow yard. Must've been busy at the hairdresser getting a new shade of pink
The City left a message: Go away! But she didn't read it!
I like when you talk about whats going on in the video Fabian... Good to hear your voice on the subjects 🙂 good reporting 👍
🤔hm, imagine a thing like that is parked in the front of your house or business... and refused to move 🫤🫤
Yikes
Along with a few over dosed corpses to give it the " Munsters " front yard effect-!!! 😳
Where do they bring all the rvs that have been towed?
Impound yard. It's in Venice, they go up for auction if they aren't picked up by the owner. Bruffys has an auction every tuesday.
Love the dude that's giving van lady legal advice. No keys or remote equals more money for towing company lady, that means you'll pay more to retrieve your van. Btw; law suits are inexpensive to file but legal representation cost more than you're going to be able to afford since you live in van and all.
I wish I could hear more of the voices of the the people nearby.
I loved the zoom in on the ticket.
The Audi at the beginning of the video was impounded by Bruffy's Tow. They have auctions every Tuesday for the vehicles not claimed. The other vehicles will likely be unclaimed.
@@lrod8721They legally have 30 days to get it i believe
Moldilocks giving Law Advice, the dude doesn't have a clue..
That Audi was screaming; 'It's a Witch! I saw a Witch!' Lol
Whaddya gotta do to stop these City cars from parking next to fire hydrants ?
How many cops does it take to tow a vehicle? So much manpower wasted when there are serious crimes to stop.
That is a serious crime. Keep$ me from going there again.
I love the ignorant dreadlock sidewalk attorney guy. He really looks and sounds like he knows everything, with the exception of living off the street and being able to wash his bird nest hair.
We've got a great 5hithouse lawyer here. How much do you charge clients for a consultation?
That Mr. mouth could use a serious hair cut and meaningful employment.
And a proper shower or 4!
Hey dreads she’s been parked there illegally so go give your advice to a wall
Mr Dreadlocks doesn't know what he is talking about
If we jaywalk we get a ticket in Los Angeles. These folks park anywhere forever and are given a prize by our mayor
YEAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Im not for the homeless being able to camp anywhere that they please, but dang foung a placec to tow it for her to live. Tow it to slab city, or a deginated camp site, now where is this lady going stay?
If this was Florida they would be towed in one day.. can’t overnight park in any parking lot, like Walmart etc..
All these people need to go back to Portland and Seattle and lay in their own mess instead of making one here. And shame on California politicians for enabling this in the first place.
👍🏆
Move to the desert.
So pointless.
I am mentally
Correct.
Bahahaha file a lawsuit??? 😂 sure buddy with what money?? You’re a brokie
Americans
America sensors
Bots. Just like you.
Americans are
Totally awesome!
A ‘No Parking Sign’?
Any of us, would’ve been ticketed & towed inside a hour.
But, abandoned cars & RV tweakers & junkies?
WELCOME to L.A.! 😐
Welcome to the jungle!
Welcome to the land of the free 😂😂
Did you expect any thing less from the diabolically incompetent cess pool democratic city council party😈-???🤔.
Yeah van lady claims to have no money no job as she lights up a cigarette that cost 10 to $12 a pack I have no sympathy for her than to find out she's been there for over a year she knew she was doing wrong it's illegal
Hey van-lady...too hard to read the parking & warning & 'cleaning' signs?
It’s great to read all the positive comments in support of parking and clean up enforcement!!!
RVs and Vans are no longer welcome in OUR VENICE.
Only if parked properly
STFU bearer of ridiculous news!
Nothing quite like a sidewalk lawyer!
How many live at his house?
LOL, I know, right! They are the ones breaking the law.
He should keep quiet and be thought a fool because when he opens his mouth he leaves no doubt.
@@hollyfink6168NO, how many live in his car/van/camper ? 🧐 🇺🇸 🤔
Why do people think it ok for them to break the law.
Probably because suicide is even more painful than having your only home taken away from You...
Oh please, there are plenty of places they could park. To park at a meter without paying or in no parking zones they deserve what comes 😊
@@MrMachineHead The bleeding-heart junkie advocate has spoken! Be prepared for drama, and blatant lies..
@@EagleEye2024 But who is willing to pay for gas or a tow truck and a constant parking fee for all of these people if there actually exists a specially designated camping space for homeless people with access to food, toilets and other necessities where they can live a tolerable life in peace?
Because the diabolically evil democratic party😈 city government allows them to -!!!😉. From shop lifting to open air drug markets-!!! 😉
They had warnings ⚠️.
No wonder taxes are so expensive, Why does it takes a dozen city employees to tow a few that are illegally parked, and take numerous pictures and video.
If I get a parking ticket, or get towed, guess what?....there is not a dozen city workers. I just pay the fine, I don't sue the city.
Once a vehicle is raised on the tow truck, know one is allowed in the vehicle for safety reasons.
NO one is . . ..
Yikes again and again I wonder why the city doesn’t tackle skid row already I am sure that’s even worse.
The guy telling the lady to sue doesn't know what he's talking about. He also said the van did not have to be in neutral when towing which is more evidence he is totally clueless. It is not wise to offer advice when you have difficulty hitting the ground with your hat.
You always keep up with the latest and document so well let's go SMCU!
🤔hm, meanwhile Mike still is sleeping 😜
The ever present LAHSA crew. What is it that they do again?
@@lrod8721 dingdingding!!
Three towed derelict vehicles in one day! Is change afoot in Los Angles? 👍😎✌
Mr Dreadlocks street lawyer giving out wrong advice is brilliant 😂
Feral Hair.
You can tell from his shirt he may be a rocket scientist?
I can imagine the smell.
LOL, parked in a no parking zone and this guy wants to argue on why it's being towed.
No up to date license plates, no insurance, no safety inspections. Tow it away.
Yeah her own fault has been giving her a lot of time just sitting there.
I don’t even see the license plate in the rear that’s a ticket right there
Why tow now? Election year makes all the difference in the World!
They should be more careful going in and out of these vans and RV's. These druggies use fentanyl!!!
Back on tour, the Santa Monica cleaning team👷👷♂👷♀🛻🚧🦺 and my favorite police officers👮👮♂👮♀ are on duty again to ensure safety and order. Finally, these scrap caravans are being taken off the streets and scrapped so that the holidaymakers can feel good again and no longer have to look at such scrap every time If they go on holiday with you because you live off the holidaymakers and earn money with us, I think it is very important that the tents and rubbish bins are away from the footpaths, then the holidaymakers will also leave more money with you if they feel comfortable
They don’t need a bigger tow truck. All that crap is hanging behind the bumper she shouldn’t be driving like that you can’t even see the tail lights with that in the back
She knows she’s parked in the red take it to impound she can go get her stuff there
They put up the signs which just sends the drug dealers into the neighborhoods. A 30' winnebago parked in front of my house the day before this clean up. Unbelievable the number of druggies I see coming and going...
If it’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s people complaining about filming when they’re out in public, let alone in your camera shop where you’re filming. It really annoys the crap out of me. We are filmed everywhere we go when we step outside. There is zero expectation of privacy when we walk around in public. People need to get over it.
It's just junkie bluster, feel free to tell them to fuck off.
Air ports & sub ways keep those facial & body pictures for future reference.
You are allowed to film the public as there is no expectation of privacy. I realize youve blurred out people who ask they remain anonymous, qnd thats nice of you. But legally, youre ok filming whatever the eye can see!
The Hair..MY EYES,..MY EYES!
She’s parked in the red there’s not going be a lawsuit. I’m sure her registration is overdue too.
Living free aint easy. Especially taking up residence on the side of the road.
Are there no state parks, campgrounds or RV parks in California? Why always parking on the streets in the city!
These people don't have money to pay the tow company yet alone a lawsuit and lawyers
I’m glad they getting rid of them RV’s. Anyone with a daughter or young kids in general should not want them parked in there neighborhoods it’s a major safety concern. The problem is they’ll be back in a week. How do we get a permanent solution?
Street Lawyer is full of free legal advice!
Rastafarian lawyer can't read the no parking sign? 🤷♂😂😂😂😂
Your YT channel always has interesting content. What camera do you use? Clear and vivid color on 50" TV. Cheers
Thanks. I use my cell phone, Galaxy S21 Ultra
If you don’t put it in neutral it will ruin your transmission.. $5000 at least.
Usually you get a 72 hour notice to move a RV, car, truck. After parking enforcement has been checking the street.
That is (100%) correct-!!!😉. It's called a "Grace" period-!!!🤗
I’m sure she has government aid they’ll take care of her impound fee
damm that was a fuckin Audi Yo wtf lol lol......well shit i cant even park a car for too long in front of my own house in California so it's messed up all over man
Bruffy must know somebody.
If you think things are going to change in this city/state/country, then you're delusional.
the bus in the movie speed was blown up where the green bin truck is .bit of trival BS
Omg, even homeless people have iPhones? Huh?
Please keep us updated on that lawsuit. 😂😂😂😂😂
Tell them all and don't give him back
Our tax dollars at work . . . or not.
What a crappy looking city.
Where are they going to live now?!?
Im so glad LA is starting to clean up the streets with a ' no nonsense ' 🚫 attitude toward parking directly in front of homes, blocking driveways and views. It's crazy how the homeless people who have campers, cars, and rvs don't care where they park and walķ off leaving their big azz campers in front of businesses and homes. How rude and disrespectful. Surely these people must know that their vehicles and campers, rvs will be towed at some point.
I love the people that are accusing the city of unfair treatment ! the look like they have never had a job!
zero sympathy for any of them.
I'm looking at this America from the other side now, and I was once born there and lived there, I had my own business with an income of 15,000,000 a year, and when I saw how the police shot a woman with children before my eyes, I realized that I had to look for another place under the sun, I spent almost 15 years looking for a way to heaven and found it, and Vit, it is written in the Holy Scripture that you do not oppress someone who is already humiliated, and if you humiliate him again, then you will be punished for your deeds through illness
The city stands to make good profits from the vehicles impounded @ the lot-!!!💰 Some nice looking 👀 (RV's) going to the impound lot.
Large RVs are way too conspicuous. Class B motor home would be much better. You can park them at a Walmart, even in a residential street for a couple of nights.
Woman with the black RV or van should’ve been allowed to get her belongings and or move it off the street. I saw no sign indicating they were there no sign indicating it was spotted there and stayed there and they abandoned it. It’s funny several black individuals keeping house in a public bathroom garbage and tent encampments are yes sir no sir please sir what a different attitude anything I can help you with we’re going to clean up today can I help you pack things get all your things. What’s the problem here except that they’re white and they’re not resisting and they’re speaking in sound mind they’re not drugged out of her gourd. So you’re basically steal their car their RV and all their belongings put them in impound but you know they don’t have money to get them out. I hope they can get an attorney County appointed attorney and sue the hell out of the city for doing this because that’s not due process of law that’s illegal confiscation and then forcing these people to live where in the street in the elements
What are the chances of a body being discovered by the towing company when they haul these rigs…..
90%?
Finally cleaning up the streets and removing all these illegal vans and motor homes, great job🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
they're problem is that, they're parked in an affluent part of LA and they stand out like a sore thumb. I live in a low income part of LA and the cops don't bother them as much.
What a great idea, a UA-cam channel for California clean-up. Now it's on to Sacramento.
Los Angeles city should be towing these eyesores. There are many on edgemont near Los feliz. Not fair
People with cell phones taking pictures are just completely annoying. Get a life!
9 out of 10 I bet the vehicle doesn’t even start. That’s why she’s stranded there.
She was parked in a no parking area. No consideration to the public safety.
Google claims the average social worker pay in CA is $62.000 a year. Pretty good gig just to stand around and watch vehicles get towed. That’s all those two women do every vid.
They need to get rid of all the boardwalk vendors selling any junk they want to peddle. People stay there for the wrong reason, just trying to sell anything they can and it clogs up spots performers or worthy cause tables would use.
What you seeing the policy Zero Poverty Question How would you get to Zero?
