I want to ask something. This system of combat I'm used to. While u keep the mouse buton pressed and then use w or a and d. But for some reason in gothic 2 i have a diferent problem cuz is completely messed up. Idk if is a new patch or update but I can't fight like that and that bothers me cuz is the only way to fight. Can u please upload a tutorial how to make your own custom controls in gothic 2 just like in this video. Pls.
@@MichalBraun Yeah, so far it's been running fine. I have the gog version which comes with a patch already installed. Thanks. It's not taken me long at all to get accustomed to the controls...
Try to first open the map in the inventory and use the keyboard shortcut afterwards. If it still doesn't work then I would recommend you to ask for help somewhere else. Gothic subreddit might be the place to ask.
"1Click action" mod and "GRawInput" mod will solve all your problems. Now you can fight and move with mouse and keyboard, and also rotate more quickly than with just the keyboard.

I play the game straight from steam without installing any patches, so no I don't think you need any.

Turning with your mouse isn't great in Gothic. I got used to turning with (Q,E) or (A,D) depending on how you set it up.
