Played the beta and thought the game was pretty neat so I bought it, but I've not played it since release. Great to see people are still enjoying it.
Oh zerker, you are so, so fun.
I almost went for claws. I swapped to axes later on and went for high execution and cleave using the healing rush in shadow, along with the hook skill and that one enrage in the first talent tree that also increases damage resistance. I've got higher points in stormclaw. I've also got practically instant retaliation whenever I get hit.
My discovered spells are all passives, with adrenaline instead of haste.
I'm thinking...hand-cannon engineer for my next hero.

I currently have three lvl 100 characters (ENG, OUT, and EMB) - my BERZ is lvl 60. I luck out and have two legendary items for my Engineer (Sword and Shield). This game is freaking awesome!
Items drops rather frequently, both set and unique. Quest rewards are usually something useful and the final reward is awesome. You can even buy set items from the regular vendors in each town and they change their invent after 5 minutes outside town. There are no specific stats for sets so you can get really good stats or really bad on a set. There are also rare spawn enchanters which can make your gear uber, but it costs A LOT of gold.
In short the damage reduction equation would be: reduced_Damage = (incoming_Damage - resistance_OR_armor)*percent_based_Damage_reduction/100.
yes...quests and main quest line, though the game is mostly about the loot and so on, it's a dungeon crawler, you should get it, it's on sale for 10 bucks on steam at the moment.
Are you guys planning to do any more of these in the future?
I would tune in just to watch you guys play some hardcore (elite would be entertaining :D ) and rant at each other while pvping or w.e hehe

It all depends on the build. For example, a wolfpack build can get up to 1.8 million damage, with a coupla trips to Borris the Stout.
Hi , I have a question which make me crazy ^^' , when you forgot a spell ( parchment spells ) , it disappears , can you drop again this specific spell ? or its lost ...
And a other question , can we have severals same spell in our inventory ? :)

Modding is the best part. Not modding to get super op weapons, but modding to add new dungeons, items, levels, bosses, classes, skills. I recommend getting the Synergies mod, it adds about 70 hours of new content totally free. It's on the steam workshop.
Synergies Mod is the most amazing Torchlight mod going around. I recommend that anyone who plays TL2 now, or starts to play it as a new game, should be using this mod, seriously, you wont regret it!
i have noticed that also things scale faster in this game but once u hit around 30-40 in TL1 u can lvl ur fame and exp in under 15mins ive gotten 2 fame lvls per map in shadow vault

if you build a outlander to use the summon tree the last one he can become very powerful as u can get about 50% chance to summon bats on enemy deaths wich can do tons of damage and death ritual they last ages

Also, if you don;t want to get one shotted, try getting above 16k life. 20k perferably, but its not as nessacary. Most ive been hit for was about 15500 damage. Honestly the best zerk build is a wolf pack with tons of mana/mana regain, with best on hit effects on a weapon(thunder/lightening) & and highest block shield. (thunder/lightening). Nothing even compares to the amount of pain you can dish out and the survivalbility that comes with it.
You can fully farm turochs tomb all day nps.

I feel like I get rare/enchanted items more so than regular ones from drops. Shops also sell items that keep up with your character level.
Somewhere in the beginning he explains that there was one skill that is bugged and he wasn't sure if he should take it. So i'm guessing he was saving those 10 points for when the bug is fixed so he's sure where to put his skills in.

Here's the thing, the four people who just happen to be at Runic Games who used to be apart of Blizz North just happen to be the lead devs of Diablo 2. You know, the guys who did most of the work and game design. Also, Runic doesn't allow more than 40 people to work in their offices at the same time, this way the company stays small.

I pre-ordered it and played trough three first difficulties with a demon hunter and then made a barbarian and did the same getting barbarian to the third act of inferno and then quited playing :) D3 was alot funnier to play with friends than solo...
Runic Games consists of multiple members of Blizzard North (which was shut down), not just one guy.
Unlike a certain other $60 game of the same genre, $20 (which is discounted to $10 occasionally on Steam) gives you a game that's actually moddable (almost in every aspect), proper dungeon randomizations (unlike 'that' $60 game) and *gasp* you can play offline or multi over LAN...
As for the graphics, that's just because Runic wants the game to be accessible by almost anyone having a computer/laptop, unless it's a calculator...even the first TL had a netbook mode...
This game will be FREE on the Epic Games Store on July 16 for a week.

Yes you can by using Respec Potion
Well the current meta game is Focus, since ALL skills scale off of focus if you have a weapon that deals elemental damage. However, a berserker is meant to be dex/str/vit in that order.
D3 is a game I want to pick up tbh, but I'd rather wait for them to release an expansion or more content patches. Torchlight 2 has a community that is solid with or without the need for mods and all the bells-n-whistles.

Now say you had 50% dr and 1000 resist. Again you get hit by 20k, subtract 1000 resist, 50% dr of 19k. Your left with 9.5k damage. As you can see. The higher the damage values, the better percent based damage reduction is going to scale compared to resistance/armor. While resistance beats percent based damage reduction if incoming damage is low, basically making you immune if damage

what stats do i need for this class?
No problem the same thing you will see when you have a boon scroll. normally you go to map works and play on a level 105 map to get the BEST gear. And when you gamble just go to the gambler in mapworks the gear he gives you is noramally equel to your level.
The debuff is on the top of screen.
switch to 1:22:00 you can see that there are spells missing points which are usefull

Just to let you know gamespot if you use a "Respec Potion" it's a mod look it up on google. It doesn't make your character marked as 'cheated'

Strength and vitality. and HIGH HIGH HEALTH gear. also a shield helps keep the zerker alive cause late in mapworks you get owned with dual wield.
he executes alot that increase the bar rly fast. look at passive that increase execute chance =]. lvl 50+ try to enchant in mapworks for gear with str and dex and soon enough u'll get gear with +execute chance. I recommend gear with +HP for berserk, its the core stat to survive, everything else is bonus, GL

Im playing with my Berski A LOT MORE TANKY and still deal easily Crits over 100K. Rekord crit is now 301K and still enjoying 21k HP and 2400-4400Phys Armor
Modding has and always will improve replay value. Of course I am referring to the fact that you can create new content to play with, like more maps, stories, outfits etc. Just look at the Elder Scrolls series.

my thoughts and such about diablo 3 and the previous game,d2. First off d3 looks and feels great when played, game engine (how u interact with monsters and environment). textures and the dynamic effects (fog/smoke explosions gore and so on) are imo great. Whats bad about d3 compared too d2 is the lack of complexity in how you build your character and the itemization and also the end game. Could go on in more depth but number of letters are running out. But time might improve these flaws.

To repeat what Th12teen said...try Path of Exile. It's almost totally free (the only things you can buy are extra stash space and cosmetic items). The endgame is good and character builds vary wildly (better than D3). Some of the skills are really freakin' cool (better than TL2).

Hey guys i have some questions about enchanting. Does the level of the character affect the enchanment stat ?.
For example, i have a unique boots that have a +11 dex enchanment. Im currently level 54. If i enchant that boots later when im on a higher level can the enchant get higher too like +40 or something.
Hope this goes on sale again at some point.

this game and the first one are awesome. makes me curious what this unannounced game that runic has been working on is.. my guess is torchlight 3. plus that rebel galaxy game that the two former heads are making looks pretty interesting as well.

where did you get Snakebite? and Iceshard Dominator?
Armor or resistances won't help you a lot at higher difficulties. These help against low incoming damage. Say you get hit by 20k. First the specific resistance is subtracted. Say you have a 1000 resist or armor depending on damage type, your left with 20k-1k=19k. The higher the damage, the less resistances help. Instead concentrate on percent based damage reduction. U have about 25% for each element type I noticed which is way to low....
but that missing a playthrough through eternal realm endless levelset.

It gives you extra Skill point for each level in it you gain.other wise no idea.
my point being, all you have to do is enable developer console, go in single player... and you can generate any items/gold or stats/lvls you want...
there is no real competitive trade market or pride in finding good things, cause half the people are just generating them at will.

Just a question, I know that Torchlight 2 patches but is there a possibility that the console will get clossed or something like that in some certain patch?
well the big reason i quit playing Diablo 3 was the fact that i farmed act 3-4 on the hardest difficulty to get a drop worth my time and not once did i have one drop i farmed it for at-least 2 hours a day and then 3-5 times a week for 5 weeks or so and after i couldn't get a single drop that was worth over 500k gold in the auction house i gave up because i had wasted way more gold reviving myself then money i made from farming because i couldn't get a half way decent drop.
