We are so thankful we managed to notice it early, but equally terrified of the thought that even if it's a benign tumor, it might mean she's more likely to get a malignant one in future. She is 5 years old and we adopted her in Jan this year, we had her spayed a month ago and feel terrible for putting her through 2 surgeries close together. She's changed our lives and we hope more than anything that she is able to live a long, happy life with us.

Cheers for the Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you considered - Mackorny Destroy Tumor Blueprint (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for getting rid of lipoma lumps without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cooworker at last got excellent results with it.
My dog is 12 year, she has small lump, can I go for surgery. Age matter in surgery.
Hello Dr. Sue I wish I had found your channel a long time ago. My wife is veterinary assistant and we just had to euthanize our Cane Corso due to a large MCT that was a grade three out of three. We had one MCT removed and about two to three days later another one came back three times the size and really brought our dogs health down quickly. We took him back and forth to the doctor between NC and FL and they advised us that the MCT had spread to all his other organs due to him constantly throwing up and not eating at all. I wish I could speak with you personally to get your take on our situation. Please reach back out to me. I was told by multiple doctors that this case was very rare did not happen very often.
My Am BULL DOG had a tumor under her breast it was huge 7 inches one morning she was throwing up not eating or drinking and a fever 104.9 This tumor grew so fast in one month She had to have it removed She doing good..They a lso spayed her..i love my animals they are part of my family..
my dog is 12years old now and she is fully active and no symptoms at all but today we came to know by doctor that she has brest cancer and the size is too small and hard, doctor is not recommending for surgery as she is 12year old. Please suggest how she will recover from this and what is the impact in future days.
Hello! Do you know which mushroom is commonly used for cases of breast cancer, prostate cancer, uterine cancer, and even some kinds of benign cancer tumors?
Reishi
My cat chest and stomach feel like its viens. Are poping out anyone know what it is
My dog has a lump on her tail and I’m going to take her to the vet tomorrow
Could it be cancer ???😢
Thank you.
Thank you for sharing. I found a lump, mammary, in very small 2 months ago. The vet said it was probably a little stick or something that created the lump. So do nothing???
10! There’s 10 Mammory glands? I had rescued a gsd who needed 2 removed 2 years ago and now her other mammry glands are swollen and growing and they said they won’t do surgery again because of her old age. My question is Why didn’t they remove all 10 at the time of the 1st surgery even if the others weren’t growing yet? Because once some grow eventually the others will more than likely grow.
Thank you for all the info you share.
Hello dr.
Can Breast Cancer be treated without any surgeries ????
Please tell fast ! I'm worried !
Dr. Can't inyect garlic juice in the tumor?
Dr. Everything you talking about is really informative, but you talking about $ 10,000. dolars. few people hown dogs have this kind the money.
Please take your dog to vet. I know this is 10 months too late. But no, your dog needs surgery if that's the case. My dog has mammary cancer and it's about 1,800. Not 100,000 like this idiot that commented said.
Thank you for your video ! She has a tumorish big lump on her nipple and it's leaking like crazy it's a jelly like substance with blood coming put of it ..she acts like it don't bother her the ver gave 2 kinds of med pain and swelling medicine she fell over so I think it was too much I started breaking them in half..she seems better.. but what can I do at home till I can take her to the vet .idk if I'm allowed to ask a question but I'm scared and ...also she is 17 but a young 17 if u get what I I saying they don't want to put her under they said she was too old please what can I do😰
Thank you
Welcome! 😊
Hi thanks so much for your videos
Hoping to find answers or opinions on my dog
Would a lump on the mammary gland and a lump under the armpit be linked? My dog is booked in for an ultrasound but it’s a week away and I guess I’m Just very anxious and trying to find as much info as possible.
If it is mammary cancer would you recommend surgery on a 10 year old German shepherd? Is the surgery huge and risky I don’t want my heart to make the wrong decision. Also she has these black marks some are bigger than others and they feel scabby all along her belly would these also be linked?
Sorry for all the questions I’m just at a panic state.
Dr. Please help our lil tea cup yorkie. She has a huge tumor vet is saying she's too small & doesn't hve enuff flesh to close up if she survives surgery
Noticing your comment /question is here after 8months with no reply. Hope you found an answer somewhere.
@@oakwoodnymph I'm so sorry I missed this. I apologize. Sad to say our lil Asa passed on December 3rd. We had a ceremony for her & buried her n the backyard. Such a draining experience & day. She definitely was a fighter & we tried & hopefully gve her the best life she could hve had 🙏🏾
I have a 13 yr old Standard Pomeranian diagnosed without aspiration of Mammary Cancer with reccomended surgery. She had Uterus remove few yrs ago. I don't remember if it was full spay and Vet unavailable to ask.
redwoodsgal I have a dog the is 9 and has mammary tumors and today it just ruptured and we don’t know what to do
Dr Sue, my 12 yo blue nose had a tumor pop up almost overnight, Its been over 2 months and it's leaking from a sore area on the surface that won't really heal, iv got her scheduled for surgery on Feb 2nd because I don't have thousands of dollars and thank God my vet allow me to owe them, but I need help for diamond please! Surgical or financial if there's any way, but if u had time to call me so we can discuss the details and u can give me ur advice I'd be greatful to you for the rest of my life, please, she was a God send when my mom was killed and she's all iv got, I cant think about life without her and not fall apart, I really don't want to loose her, please meet her before u leave us to die at least, please
With my dog her nipple was hard awhile back and the dr said to keep an eye on it , I noticed today it looks swelled but just a normal color of skin . Is this mistitis or could it be more serious ?
Great Video. So informative. Thank you
HAHlaffs thanks for watching!
I sadly had to put my dog down because her growth was getting big. She had a few spots that were bleeding. I didn't wanted to burst and it would have been worst. So my question to you is if you cannot afford the surgery what is a good option.
hello! I was hoping to learn in this video if the tumors are benign SHOULD I put my dog on surgery.... she is almost 11y.o. :(
We did X ray on chest (they are clean). we did fine needle but it doesn't say if benign or malignant. She also has bump on the lymph nodes on one of her legs. I don't know what to do. Vets say radical mastectomy plus spay/neuter. But what if it's benign and I put her on such pain ???
Hello! We are facing exactly the same situation! How is your dog doing now? What decision did you make? Please let me know I’m hopeless 😢

I have a question, my bulldog is 6 years old, I noticed a small lump on her breast about 5 months ago, fast forward the tumor is the size of small orange. She’s going to go through with surgery, but I want to know if it’s too late to spay her? Please lmk. Spaying her after the removal of the tumor is a good idea? Or what can I do
My female shitzu/bitshon has an open tumor
It's the size of an orange. It is opened and her 8 year old son is constantly licking it. I am on such a limited income however I want to save her. She is 16.She eats ,drinks, and generally herself.I am terrified about the price.I live in Pa.and I am just overwhelmed. Any suggestions? I don't want to lose her.THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Bring her to veterinary clinic to check
Thank you for making this. I just took my Roo into the vet and found a b.b. size mass in her back teet. Shes a tuxedo pit and I rescued her. She's my world and the thought of her having cancer scared me to death. This video brought me some peace of mind just to hear someone talking about it. We go in this week to see what it is we found.
Thank you for the feedback! Sending good energy to you and Roo! 💙 Whatever it is you found it when it is small and that is so important!
Looking forward to the cat video too!
Thank you! New videos every Wednesday! Thanks for watching!
thankyou! we just found out that my dog's nipple is reddish and kinda looks like bleeding. I'm SO SO SO scared that she may have cancer. I'm breaking down right now because I'm an only child and she's my literal angel, baby, and sister. She helped me when i was depress and she's there to help me get through my suicidal thoughts and attempts. i love her so much and i could literally give out my life for her. i don't know what to do without her, and i also don't know if we'll have the finances to treat her if ever. I'm so scared, i can't sleep, i can't study, i can't eat. i'm just crying and panicking and i feel so helpless. i can't afford to lose her cause i might lose myself too. i can't i can't i can't ::((((
You are welcome. I am glad you are getting information. Sending hugs!
I am in the same situation like yours. Worried for my cat
How is she, now? I really hope she's alright.
I have seen may of your videos and I wonder why do you promote spaying...yes if the reason is breeding it’s totally understandable but as a dog lover I want to have my husky-Lexi to have puppies. So basically can we remove the tumour and still not touch the dogs ovaries or tissues? Is it possible?
I have been searching this answer in all your videos but could not find it
Hi dr. Sue. My 14 year old Chihuahua has mammary tumors under her armpit and chest. The vet told me it’s inoperable and only gave her Meloxicam . I can’t lose my puppy. Should I go to another vet and try to see if there’s any other treatment? Or is there really no treatment? 😞
Update?
@@drakoalvarado-zy6nn she sadly passed away in January 😢😞😕

Question for Ad #2: Why are you showing dog food with coloring on some of the kibble? No dog should eat that! Some of the coloring is paint! I followed what you were saying but lost interest when I saw the coloring on their food.
I am sorry. I do not pick the ads. They are selected by UA-cam and the advertisers I think. All the best xo

my dog needs a tumor took off of her belly off your tent and I'm having trouble trying to get somebody to do it can you people on help me I've asked everybody in West Virginia nobody can help me
My 5 year old Doberman has a 2 cm lump near a nipple , vet is reassuring me that it is most likely a benign adenoma, but is telling me that she will probably will have more if I don't have her spayed because the hormones will make more lumps. I hope my decision to have her spayed is the right one, as I don't want her to keep being put under too many times.
Always spay your dog I didn’t and she got mammory tumours and one big one that’s almost bursting
@@saffronsl Yes but not too young, as they need the hormones for growth and health in general. After two y ears old, not 6 months!
We spent thousands and thousands on our cat with mammary cancer a couple years ago. Turns out, the cancer had already spread to her lungs and surgery was impossible, she should have had chemo instead. Money grabbing vets.
I completely agree. Something is wrong with all medical practices in this country. No natural treatments or diets mentioned at all.
Was the tumor small? Did they just do surgery to remove it?
My dog is 8 years old . I just discovered a few small mammary tumors above her breast around her rib cage. I waited too late to get her fixed. But I had her fixed when she was 7 in a half years old. My question is without treatment what's her life span?
Is it cancerous or benign? Any updates?
It was cancer. I had to have her put to sleep. Thank you for your reply.
@@teresataylor3323 I’m sorry for your loss. Did she receive treatment? My dog tumor is small too and she is in surgery now. I just discovered it a few days ago. Her x-ray results came back clean of no spreading.
I have a 12 year old maltese with breast cancer but she refuses to walk much surgery is Wednesday so in 2 days but i was wondering do you think she might want to walk more after surgery and after she doesn't feel those lumps?
@viry piñon how did you dog go with the surgery?
My Labrador has 6 years old and breast lump in one mamary gland she has died today .
So sorry for the loss of your special friend. Just finding a similar situation with my lab. Thanks for sharing your story.
Even though this happened a little while ago I’m still very sorry for your loss and hope you’re doing ok
I just found out my 14 years old shitszu has mammary tumors . The vet is wonderful he said let's take care of her skin issues first then surgery for the tumors. She has had 2 major surgeries for stones . She is now blind as well . I rescued her in 2015. I do not think I want her to go thru another major surgery . Oh and when we left the vet and got in the car she had a seizure for the first time . I ran her back into the vet he did some blood work and said her blood work is fine . I was to upset to ask him what he was looking for in the blood work . Dr . Sue what could have caused her seizure ? And do you think I am wrong with not having her have another major surgery at this age ? I just think she has been thru so much already . I just had to put my other lifelong dog down due to prostate cancer .
I am so sorry for the loss of the other dog. There are many things that can cause a seizure but please talk directly to your veterinarian who knows your dog and her medical history. I know this is overwhelming. I cannot make the surgery decision for you but maybe it will help to watch this video about anesthesia ua-cam.com/video/y7V3VI26Dv4/v-deo.html and please consult with your vet. Good luck!

what do you not understand why is there why are they not no veterinarian will help me get my dog operated on most of them they want cash up front and I do not have cash up front I'm doing fixed income I need help people
My dads dog has a couple of tumors. Today we had our first exam at the Vet. He said, Mammary mass. Suggested blood work, x-rays and surgery. She’s an older 15 year old. We might just put her down😢😞
I just found your videos.I am dealing with this during Covid lock down.Small lump left side few days later one on right, few days later they are larger, two weeks in the left one shrunk but the one on right enlarged.3 weeks now I finally got her in.She is 10 this yr & was spaded at 2 yrs.Vet has given her anti inflamatory 4 week then will do surgery.I had rotti that was 20 yrs old who got lump on neck then in her tummy in 3 to 4 days lump was very large got her to vet & they recommended I put her to sleep. She was already not eating or drinking. They were in her stomach not in mammory. She was spaded at 15yrs old.was moving to place that had no fencing up.I think this caused hers & it was not noticed for several months.
Why don’t you ever mention Immunocidin Canine USDA labeled immunotherapy for canine mammary cancer? The product works extremely well and has multiple administration routes.
My dog is taking it. The studies are by ppl working for NovaVive and one "Holistic" veterinary oncologist with a small study. It needs more studies imo to be definitive is why its not mentioned often.
@@skyqueue68 did this work for you? I am considering driving my 13 year old Shepherd from Phoenix to Santa Fe for this treatment, but I can't find anyone with a real story on if it works or not.
