I’m so sad. My dad dog was taken to a vet earlier this year for removal of a tumor near his leg. The vet advised all would be well and never mentioned cancer.
Fast forward a month the dog is having trouble eating but he drinks water. He doesn’t stop throwing up and you can in his eyes that he’s hungry. I took him to an ER and the cancer had spread affecting his lungs and liver. The doctor advised he needed to be put to sleep because he was suffering. Because we love the dog we did so. I am shattered. This life we hold on so dear can be gone from
One second to the next like the wind. Prayers to all.

Thank God I listen to my gut feeling. My 21-year-old fur baby Coco was diagnosed with lymphoma which is cancer in her immune system. I was told by everyone except from my mom, that she was old, and I need to have her put down. I was even offered medicine to make her comfortable. She wasn't eating and didn't seem okay, but I knew my Coco was STRONG. I had chemo done and took care of her around the clock. She survived chemo, but I was told she had about 4 months to live after chemo. It has been 2 years later, and Coco is very healthy. I have 4 other fur babies and she's the alpha. In fact, Coco walks ahead of my other babies and put them to shame. I fed Coco antioxidant organic vegetables and alkaline water. I avoided sugary snacks because cancer loves sugar. I also took her on long walks because cancer hates oxygen. I also gave Coco back massages and played relaxing music to eliminate any stress. Coco and I beat the heck out of cancer. Coco is still with me, and we cherish every day together. She has a strong support system. She has 4 doctors, in which two of them are oncologists. She has a lot of energy, and you wouldn't think she's 21 years old. I was told by both doctors that they no longer see any cancer, but I still handle her with care by being careful with her diet and avoiding harmful chemicals that can hurt her.

My dog was diagnosed with a brain tumour when he was 11 I would have done treatments but the vet was very honest with me that with his advanced age chemo probably would not help and just make his last six months more painful. I decided that as long as he was still enjoying his quality of life eating going for walks I would just make him as comfortable as possible. I had to prior appointments to put him down that I cancelled but he was bleeding from the nose and one day he just put his head in my lap and the look in his eyes was so pained it was asking for mercy. The day I put him to sleep I took him to the park and cooked him a steak first then the vet said I should leave because some dogs have spasms or loose control of their bowels but I refused to leave him alone sat on the floor and petted him when he was given the needle he went peacefully just a mild stiffening. He was a wonderful companion I've never even wanted another dog since. I guess they are just here for us to love and care for as long as we can.

He's been holding & not getting alot worse for 10 months. The "pet well being" products & fenbendazole aren't getting ahead of the cancer. We are considering switching protocol. Might try the baking soda & granny's molasses as i seen pictures that killed tumors. Maybe a mushroom powder also

I'm not a vet, but I've often thought the continual application of flea and tick chemicals is a possible cause of cancer in dogs and cats. These are powerful insecticides that are soaked into our pets skin year after year. My dog was totally normal. I applied a treatment according to the instructions. Within 30 minutes he was cowered in the corner of the room shivering, when he was completely normal right before. That was the first and last time I used a treatment. He's been normal ever since then. That was about 6 years ago.

He now is in is 15th year..I know I have to go to a vet but dread the local surgery;I feel unheard wanting to use natural remedies as much as possible.Drugs do have their place;lets work together for the best outcome for the animal! i may go there for a diagnosis, then find my own treatment plan..and I do energy healing on him,it works well

Dr. Dressler, I am hoping you will help me! My 8 year old Shih Tzu was diagnosed with Lymphoma the first part of March. We had found a lump in his throat and called my vet right away. Thankfully that has been the only lump( in his lymph node and had a biopsy done. I bought and read your book and found him some natural supplements that treat cancer through Nature's Farmacy....-all including ingredients that you have recommended in your book. I started him on the fresh food diet plan that you recommended...He just finished his 8th treatment of CHOP and Prednizone. Instead of getting better and "experiencing benefits that I have been reading I see him getting worse and it's breaking my heart. He started out pretty good and maybe vomitting 1-2 times a week. I gave him the Cerenia when I felt he needed it. He had beautiful hair and it's coming out in handfuls...I had to give him a puppy cut. We have been doing our best keeping him active plying with him and just loving him but the last week or two he just does not loooooook good...he wants to be left alone most of the time...definitely not his old self. I am really worried! What am I doing?????? I ask my self that every day since I started. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to get him to eat????? He won't eat anything lately if I put coconut oil.....or fish oil....or any ANY of the supplements in his food...I will try to hand feed him I purchased the Halo food....kibble and the canned....he won't eat it...I took out all of the supplements the last few days and he will only eat the meat.....no eggs no goat yogurt no cottage cheese.....just chicken or beef...He used to have a really healthy appetite and I have always fed him fresh food or very good dog food..(I thought)...I have another 10 year old Shih Tzu and she used to be soooooo finicky but she loves your diet and eats even the supplements (not the cancer treatments however...but does not mind the shrrooms). I just don't know what to do and if you could give me some advise I would be soooooo grateful. By the way your book is absolutely wonderful and OMG I have learned soooooo much and I share it with all my dog lover friends. I just wish I knew half of all this that you share....like the immunizations, spade, neuter....I could go on and on...please help me...what. Should I do should I stop the Chemo ? I am sooo worried...thank you so so much......

Ken We had to have our Doogey put to sleep just today. Our hearts are broken, but at least he isn’t suffering anymore. He had gotten so weak that he couldn’t walk but just a few yards then have to lay down and rest. He was having good days and bad days, but the past 4 days were horrible and he started gagging really bad. He would come up and stare us in the eyes, but when asked if he wanted something to eat or go outside, he wouldn’t do neither. It was almost as if he were asking us to either heal him or let him go. We decided last night that it was time to let him go. Doogey did make it through Christmas and that was very important to us because our son came home for Christmas this year. He did pretty good on Christmas Day and we got a lot of great family pictures with him. All I can tell you is don’t let your Rotti suffer. There’s an old saying that says (love them enough to let them go.) We really found the meaning of that saying today. Time will heal your heart but our Doogey and your Rotti will never be forgotten.

my dog a good young boxer just died from having cancer in his face unfortunately it was a level 3 and it grew so fast in 1 month from being healthy the mass cell tumor developed very very fast in 1 month my rocky was gone i went to this veterinary and paid 600 dollars for a biopsy that was unnecessary why because the tumor was in a dangerous spot (the right side of his face/lip) right after i went there i went somewhere else for a different opinion and they honestly told me that all left to do was let him have a happy time because euthanasia was required while the first doctor wanted to send me to another doctor to discuss treatment giving me hope when they knew and im sure they knew it was impossible to save him and i know they are supposed to give hope but not in this case it seems as he wanted to profit out of the situation because they were trying to sell me their products at a very expensive price i mean for your friend and pet you would do anything and thats how they take advantage ..... i was very happy with the second veterinarian even tho i lost my dog she was very professional in my opinion trying to save me money that she could have easily charged just like the first people out there animal lovers be careful when you go to places that just want to profit out of your personal pain and if there was pet doctors like the one in this video honest and loving what they do people would not be loosing their pets it will always be expensive but its worth it when you see good results

Why has bone cancer started in the mid 80 in dogs, seems it’s getting worse every year and a normal dog lives were 22 years and now it’s less than 10, mostly 6/8 years
I personally blame dry kimmbles dog food…my 13 year old LGD is and has been on table scraps and raw meats of all kinds
The two at a different location have kimmbles and there 5 and 7
Both have bone cancer now in the front legs
It’s pretty clear to me and my Vet 😢😢😢

Literally hours after my mother's passing, my vet called to tell me my dog has osteosarcoma. Weeks later the vet offers euthanasia for my best friend. It's only been three months since my mother's passing and the pain is still new, but in deciding not to euthanize my dog I have been coping. My Jinger has been a real champion in coping with her new normal. She is less active but still the watch dog. Barks when she hears the doorbell and at strangers. Unfortunately our twice daily walks are a thing of the past due to her lamness, but she manages to walk up and down the stairs at a good pace. I stopped her from eating kibbles and cook her meals with more protein. Dr. Dressler's information is invaluable, I wish I had this three months ago. Jinger's pain is being managed daily with 30mlg of Piroxicam. She likes lying in the sun and has resorted to sitting outdoors watching nature. I don't know how much longer she will be with me but I am giving her more belly rubs and trying to give her quality of life. Dr. Dressler, keep up the great work and thank you for all the information....you are awesome. lthelady

ask your vet if cyberknife radiation is something you could try? Its a pinpoint radiation that targets cancer/tumor cells and leaves healthy tissue untouched. It's usually 3 treatments and not like traditional radiation where you have to go for 20 days and your dog has to be intubated daily for treatment. With the advanced machines your pet is intubated briefly for the procedure and theres no "surgery" because its non-invassive. There are also VARIAN machines which deliver different types of radiation so you should look into that option and ask your vet . ITS SUPER EXPENSIVE but it could save your dog's life. Im having Cyberknife radiation for my cat next week. They do a CT scan to map the tumor (which is a pituitary tumor) and once thats done we go in and he begins the treatment. the following week he will do two more treatments. There are two clinics on the east coast. Yonkers NY is getting a new machine called True Beam so they dont have the cyberknife anymore.True beam in their clinic will be used in the next couple of months. The other clinic in in PA. I have no idea whats available in other states and you might have to drive in or fly in for a consult. You'l need to think about the age of your dog and the expense of it and decide. Be sure to ask your vet about high tech treatments because you might be able to save your dog. I wish you well.

My dog was just diagnosed with lymphoma. We opted to use steroids. He has been in great spirits and has been doing well for the most part but the lymph nodes aren’t really getting any smaller and I just am not content with not trying anything else...I am curious as to whether or not he could actually have a fungal infection in the lymph nodes verses cancer. Is it possible that a lymphnode fungal infection could be mistaken for cancer? If so how could I find out and what could I try and treat him with? He had a full blood panel and he had a biopsy....would fungal infection show up in the blood panel or biopsy? I haven’t actually seen his results but I was told
he had Lymes. We are treating him with Doxycycline and all symptoms went away except the swelling- we had the biopsy done as well and via phone conversation we were told that he did have lymphoma- again I am just making sure we are doing everything that we can and making sure that we aren’t treating him for the wrong thing or at least exploring ever option.
