    Good job but for more vibrant gold/yellow and red and green, should put a white underbase first... helps on a dark t-shirt background.

    If you put it on the front of the screen it can be reused. You just have to make sure you use the 651 or 751 oracle vinyl.

      I have a video on how to make a reusable screen and if you have to wash the screen using a permanent vinyl will still lift away

    Ok, this one I understand. The paint goes thru the holes. On your first one (penguin), I still don't understand how you got the body outline. Sorry if I'm missing something. I'm going to watch the penguin one again.

      Tammy Guitard-Vallier I got confused too when I saw the penguin, I rewatched many times then I got it, the white background of the table didn’t let me see that the body is transparent so the ink goes thru 😉

    Can you explain why you shouldn't go up with the squeegee when applying the paint? Also you might be able to see the registration marks better if you don't paint them white :)

    How about 4 small post-it’s under the registration marks. A little stick should help them stay where you put them. Thanks for the tutorial.

    If I plan to use my screens for one project and don't plan on changing any colors or vinyl stencil, do I need to wash them between days? If I have to take the vinyl stencil off before washing after it's been used, are there any tips to do so?
    I just tried it and some of my letters didn't come out as clean as the stencil but I think that's because the vinyl may not have been stuck to the screen as well so paint got smooshed in.

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  4 роки тому

    Hi Corinne! In Design Space you only show registration marks at the top, but when you are working with the vinyl there are 2 at the bottom as well. Does it matter?

  • @mswhizz56
    @mswhizz56 2 роки тому

    Mask the open areas on the back of the screen where you placed your vinyl. Then you don’t have to worry about catching the tape edges with your squeegee.

      this is actually much faster if you are doing multiple shirts (imaging all the weeding) and it costs much less.

      Because HTV is heavy and not always desired. Because screen printing is less expensive especially when doing many shirts. its also much faster when making multiple shirts. plus is super FUN!
